This is the best Dojo to learn traditional Japanese Karate, the Grand Sensei is a Japanese Legend in Karate. The instructor Sensei is an incredible teacher and such a nice person. This is where you come to learn real Karate tought by those that love the it. I highly recommend this Karate School, it is truly amazing.

I love it here, all of the other dojos I have been to are not serious like this one. You spare, and learn all of the basics. Very traditional. You actually learn karate

I trained under Shihan Miura back in the 1980s, and recently returned after a 22 year break. Shihan still delivers classic Karate training the best way possible. His Sempais (teachers) are first-rate, and the acceptance and positive support among experienced students especially for new Karateka (students) is outstanding. Fairly small class sizes mean you get very personal attention. Classes for children are held separate from those for adults. Adults can train with their children if they wish. Rates are very reasonable. Shihan Miura is underappreciated in the United States, but well-known and respected in Japan. People travel from around the world to train under Shihan Miura. For more biographical information about Shihan Miura, check his Wikipedia entry. You can observe lessons for free to see if you are interested. If you are interested in martial arts, I can't recommend Miura Dojo highly enough.
