YogaSkills Kemetic Yoga Studio Bronzeville is a facility for the cultural arts. We are the home of Kemetic Yoga classes and teacher training & certification. We have online programs & corporate wellness. We offer lectures and workshops by world class presenters. We offer classes for children in Afrobatics (tumbling, hip hop dance and acrobatics from an African perspective). We have classes for senior citizens as well as African Dance and Drumming Kemetic Belly Dance, Afro-Brazilian Martial Arts. We offer trips and Yoga Teacher Training in Africa and the Caribbean as well as lectures and workshops by world class presenters. We offer holistic health and detox services, juice and smoothies. Our facility is available for rent.

I was trained and certified by YogaSkills School of Kemetic Yoga by Master Yirser Ra Hotep in Jamaica this year. Master Yirser is incredibly knowledgable and generous. He has a wonderful sense of humor. His research and experiential foundation is extraordinary. Don’t pass up a chance to learn from this exceptional man.

I found my tribe! I was carjacked at gunpoint on Dec 30, 2021. I was unharmed and my belongings were recovered within minutes, thank God! I m so glad I kept my plans and attended Yoga Skills for their event on Dec 31, 2021. I don’t know much about yoga or anything like that so I didn’t realize I was stepping into a healing space. Through community and learning examples of their practices I was able to get some healing from the trauma I suffered the day before. I plan on taking classes here, I love this place. I love the location in the community as well, we need this. I want to learn more about who I am and where I come from.
