This gym is nothing more than a rip-off of your money. I called and canceled for medical reasons, but they wanted to freeze my membership. I can see why they have a low review score on Google. They sent me a threatening text message concerning collection. So, I returned the call as I was asked to let them know I wasn’t returning anytime soon just as I told them when became sick in May. They want me to pay for a service that I’m not able to utilize, but it won’t happen. I don’t recommend this because of the ridiculous 2-year contract that they told me that I could not cancel. I only chose this gym because it is close to home. The previous gym I attended had a great fitness program that actually produced results. They moved to the north side of town which was further than I wanted to drive. Plus, the traffic is terrible in that area during the time I wanted to attend. If and when I return to the gym, it will not be this place. Don’t waste your time here.

Waste of money they Did a contract for personal training and in that contract, it says that they gonna charge me Every 15 days But they Started charging me twice a week that was hundred and some dollars and then when I talk to management, they have no solution for that. I called them and I asked them to give me the number for management and they have no number for their management . It’s totally waste of money and I don’t recommend this gym at all. When they gonna sold you their membership, they don’t explain you anything after sometime. You gonna know that you have to pay maintenance and stuff for this gym. And on the day when you sign membership, they don’t let you know that if you are canceling membership, you have to give them 30 day notice And they charge extra for that. My worst decision was signing up for this membership .

Now that I didn’t want to get a new trainer because that’s not who I signed up with they won’t give me my money back and they keep trying to take 150 from me when I text and email I don’t get a response! Heads up—if you cancel a membership, hold onto the receipt for a long time. I went there and paid to cancel my account, just to be sure. But months later, they claimed I still owed them, and of course, I didn't have the receipt anymore to prove I had already handled it.
P.s. i post this because i am 100% sure, and i am not paying double, it already ruined my credits,!

Very poorly maintained and dirty. Machines are falling apart and the owners could care less. They don’t return phone calls or attend to their business at all. The whole place smells like urine.

Update-after 3 years of no one answering the phone or returning emails I finally went through corporate to get my account cancelled…and the club is STILL charging me fees. Avoid these lazy business owner scammers at all costs.

Been a member for a long time at this Anytime Fitness. Love being able to go to different ones when traveling however, this one has gone down hill in the last few months. The best part about this location is Coach D. He actually acknowledges the members and speaks to them while the manger sits in a dark office either with the door cracked or completely shut. To get anything done (including getting wipes filled, a ball being flat and needing pumped. Etc.) you have to go to Coach D and hope that he’s there at the time. Yesterday all but one container of wipes were empty at 11AM, while the GM is working out with rap music turned up so loud on the gym speakers. Will definitely be thinking about changing locations if nothing changes.

Overall good anytime location. I like the location. Good variety of equipment. The only negative was the bench press... I'm not sure what's up with the position of the bench... i was trained to have my eyes directly under the bar at rest. This bench had my butt hanging off the edge to be able to position myself correctly. Everything else was good. Nice hot showers. Nothing stuck out as bad. Over good gym.

This gym is absolutely a waste of money. The equipment is very old never being upgraded in over 10 years. A couple new pieces were added but the old just keeping getting older. The plates are falling apart. The bathrooms are always disgusting. Don't tell me about the cleaning staff when the same marks in the sinks stay for months at a time. Things rarely get fixed, mostly band-aided. I had a contract renewal price they suddenly increased as well. That was the final straw. I finally quit here and found a real gym. This one is not it. The scam of this place is the ridiculous monthly fee and the enhancement fee that NEVER enhances anything but the owners' pockets. I wish they would have raised my fee years ago so I would have looked for a new gym sooner.
Edit: You need a 30 day notice when cancelling and they cancelled my access before the 30 days was up. I ended up going back in and to be fair, the bathrooms were clean that time. The plates are still falling apart. The weight room was moved around in an absurd way to cover a spot in the floor that was sinking in for years. Instead of fixing it correctly, they covered it, another bandage. An investment company owns this place, that means they'll spend just enough to keep it going. I wouldn't be surprised if the group of gyms this place owns eventually closes from lack of membership. Don't respond with another corporate response, they've gotten old.

Im never here in the daytime because of my schedule. Im now gonna go to the gym location on SR135 beacuse of disrespectful people at night who play their music and sing OUTLOUD like theyre at home and like nobody minds it. They dont use headphones ever and dont care. Also I go to church but NOBODY wants to hear that at that gym! Its not the place for it! I usually am charging my phone so I cant wear headpnhones but Id like to actually hear the music! Old machines have blocked peg holes, usually no wipes for cleaning....If a line of papertowels is left on the bathroom foorthat means MOP, I foind someone!!!! But no it wasnt mopped because II could see the urine still in the crack! I just don't understand how you guys can be so busy and there's no time for cleaning!!

It's just okay. The only reason I go here is due to it being 24 hours and the location relative to my work, and also because I dislike Vasa and the Thompson Rd Planet Fitness. In my opinion, this gym lacks a lot, especially at the price point it's in. There's no deadlift platform, and unless it's really slow, there's no place to do deadlifts. They have one squat rack and one smith rack. Their restrooms are also filthy. Truck stop showers are cleaner than theirs. But, at least it's 24 hours so that healthcare workers like myself can access it whenever..

I do not recommend this gym at all. They are a scam. I had a personal trainer and i got injured while at the gym. My doctor told me that i was unable to continue working out with the trainer. I asked to cancel the training and they said that in their contract it states that i cant cancel unless im completely disabled.

It has a smell most days.
It's an old location and it shows.
A little dirty, but you wouldn't notice unless you go often and have been to other locations.
Like most gyms the members are nasty.
They do foul things in the bathroom and leave the mess for others to clean up.
I would say the only advantage is that it is literally open 24/7 and not some weird hours like other gyms. Also the private showers if you need that (but be prepared to clean up after the children before use)

If you don't need a gym with a shower, and generally do fitness during normal business hours then you would be spending way too much money for an experience that isn't better than Planet Fitness.

I am a bit disappointed with the cost (including the "gym enhancement fee") when compared to the service, but that's most everything now.

Maybe if I could actually see the "enhancement" and not a dilapidating building it might help.
Otherwise it seems to only "enhance" their pockets.

I have visited other Anytimes and know that they can look nicer, so maybe it's a manager thing?

Cracked screens on cardio machines, the stair master closest to the wall has a stair that pops when you step on it. Cup holders are full of old water bottle caps just collect from never being cleaned up. Gross.

The gym itself isn’t too awful, although a bit beat up at times with machines that don’t work and weight plates with ripped out handles. The real problem is the company itself: I had a one-year contract with them that expired last year. Well upon closer inspection, they were still charging me half a year later. Then when I went in to cancel, I they can’t cancel the membership immediately, you have to wait and pay the following month’s charges and THEN it cancels. It’s also outrageous for a gym that is quite frankly not all that impressive. Unless this is your only option due to work hours or whatever, I advise not signing on at this gym.

Seems that everyone was lied to about payment and contract. I was never told I’d be charged 2 times a month, and I was never told about a contract. The manager never answers the phone when I’ve called to deal with it, and then made up many excuses as to why I couldn’t cancel. I love Anytime Fitness. I have tried countless gyms over the years and always go back to Anytime. The gym crowd is a lot smaller with multiple locations making it easy to fit in a workout wherever you are and any time of the day. The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. The location is clean and the equipment is well kept. The restroom/showers are private and clean. Your experience by location can very as gyms have different: equipment, staff, size, etc. An added bonus your home gym can be open to suggestions for equipment replacements and additions.

General manager told me I could cancel for a $50 fee when I went in to ask questions about the membership. I went in to cancel about a month later (I am now a member of Life Time). The same general manager that told me I COULD cancel now tells me I cannot without a disability or moving 24 miles away from an anytime fitness.
His excuse was "sorry I was still training at the time I told you that you could cancel for $50"
He could not provide me with ANY information to reach ANY management above him for assistance.
I will never recommend this company to anyone.

I have been trying to get in contact with this Anytime Fitness to cancel my membership since I am now stationed in Japan and unable to go to off-base gyms. None of my emails have been answered and I am still getting charged for a membership i cannot use.

When i first joined they told me it would be easy to cancel my membership if i got orders and could not go to a gym due to COVID, this is becoming more of a hassle. I just wish places were more military friendly and would respond. This is very disheartening and disappointing.

My husband and I travel across the US and have visited numerous gyms. They will lie to you about a contract, once your contract is up they will make it VERY hard for you to cancel. You will get a different answer from every person you talk to about how to cancel your membership. For instance: "Just call in Feb when your contract is up" and then you call and get "You have to write a letter or we can't cancel it" WHAT? This is not a good business practice. Terrible management. Megan told me that she is the only person I can speak with when I asked to speak to a higher up. Do you have an area manager or someone else I can speak to other than Megan? There is no way that she is the end all of any conversation. This location charged me for 2 months of the gym membership when they were shut down for a worldwide pandemic. They refuse to refund my money and are very unprofessional. I also had to go into the store TWICE while my wife was pregnant to fill out my billing information. I then had to call ABC financial several times to get my billing straightened out and late fees taken off. Ripping loyal customers off during a pandemic is heartless and businesses like this should be fined and/or closed down.

I have been a member of Anytime Fitness for over 10 years. I moved to this area and transferred my membership since I always liked where I used to go. This one is super close to my home. However, pre-COVID and post-COVID the gym still has serious issues with cleanness, I wouldn't let my dog eat there. Plus, the one and only trainer is supposed to be a personal trainer. But at this gym you get charged the same amount for group training, which is not personal. Plus, they are charging me two separate fees, but when I asked the manager/owner, Zach, he couldn't even tell me why I was being charged these funds. Then, I tried to cancel my membership on 8/3/20 and he says I still need to pay them again on 8/28. Please do not grant these people anything. I will go elsewhere to spend my money. Pathetic way to treat customers.

When I was being trained by Tyler at the Anytime Fitness on County Line Rd. Tyler was Amazing!!! He has an amazing positive positive energy. Very clear that he really enjoys what he does. He is extremely professional, demonstrates care and very attentive to his clients. I found Tyler Very motivational. when I was busy working my 120 hr. Work week he would reach out to me when I haven't been around to train and do his best to accommodate my schedule. and the days when I was in the gym and really had to "dig deep" he was always there to push me and motivate me to get that "one last Rep" with his encouraging and motivational words.By far Tyler has been the best trainer BY FAR!!! That's employed by Anytime Fitness. My only Negative thing I have to say is I only wish he was employed with Anytime Fitness when I first started my training instead of my last few months of my contract. I showed results very quickly as a result due his Dedication and hard work while training me!!!!

Nice facility, like most anytimes. Kept pretty clean, and well taken care of. However...every single time I work out here, someone leaves 2 hundred pound plates one either side of the leg press. In case you don’t already know, this leg press is already 118, plus 400 lbs, well... let’s just say that most people can’t press 518 pounds. So not only is that extremely inconsiderate of whoever the culprit is, but it’s also a lawsuit waiting to happen. I almost dropped one, nearly smashing my foot today, and I promise you, I would have sued. Most anytimes DO NOT have hundred pound plates, and as a paying customer who respects the rules, is consderate of others, and is also trying not to get hurt, I beg you guys... get rid of the hundred pound plates and just invest in a few more 45’s. They are much more manageable for the average person. Seriously guys. It’s not necessary.

Working out at this Anytime Fitness has been one of the best decisions I have made in regaining my health. The trainers put great thought into their workouts and switch things up weekly so it is continually challenging and fun. The atmosphere is non-judgmental, community-oriented, and you can take things at your own pace. This location is one of the friendliest and cleanest of all I have visited in multiple states. Trainer Marie is amazing and goes out of her way to work with me and my limitations and push me out of my comfort zone. She always listens and makes adjustments in my sessions as needed. The new manager was amazing in helping me navigate changes to my membership due to relocating out of state.

It has improved since my last review so I figured I would update my review from one star to three. Looks like they are doing a better job keeping the gym clean now. They got a few new pieces of basic equipment that were much needed. There is a few pieces of equipment that could still use updating. But the location seems to be getting better. They are also a bit low on plates. Overall, if they update some of the equipment, add a few pieces of basic equipment that other locations have, and maybe utilize the space they have a bit better, I could rate them five stars.

Gym is a good size, been at all different times of day and it's never super crowded. Really like that the parking lot is well lit at night so I feel safe walking to my vehicle.

Have only had a great experience at this gym!
I have been going to this gym with my wife and friends for over two years now and it is great. Staff is cool, and equipment is taken care of....if you are afraid of working out don't go here, go to a gym with free pizza and alarms!

I really liked how clean it was. It was good enough for me because I'm the kind of girl who goes in runs and does my own stuff.. if your one who want to talk to someone then good luck.. by glance I never seen anyone in the office
