Me and my wife travel all across the country using all the anytime facilities never had an issue till we ran into this location managed by a crazy small African American woman who started banging on our bathroom door 3 times like she was the feds yelling through the door telling us to get out, when we were able to get out she confronted us told us we couldn't shower together I said we'd never had heard of this before and that we are married , then she states we could shower together so why are you harassing us , she tells she's on the phone with corporate that was a lie then she tells us she's calling hwy patrol ,I tell her ill wait outside for them she never actually called them just some pathetic attempt to intimidate us to leave, we talked to the regional manager he told us she lied about the situation to justify her actions and we left it at that he apologized for her disgusting behavior then she goes on to ban us from this location , maybe someone in management position should be a little more mature and know how to approach people you run a gym not a dictatorship approach people inform them of rules that you have no signs for common sense this woman clearly has issues

The best gym I’ve ever been to. I don’t say that lightly either, I’ve tried expensive and budget friendly gyms; none of them compare. Kim and her staff take great care of the facility ensuring a clean, safe and functioning environment. I ve been going to this location for a couple of years now. Kim is an awesome gym manager. I really like the fact that the stretching room is closed off from the rest of the gym. I went to crown point location recently and noticed there is no wall separating the equipment from the stretching area. I do not like that! You may not want to have unwanted attention when you're doing certain stretches. So I really hope highland location keeps the wall dividers. Makes you feel you have a little bit of privacy where as Crown point there is none.

The place has everything you would really ever need and some nice newer pieces of gear like the belted squat rack. Kim is super nice, fun to talk to and very inviting. The manager Kim is rude!! Went in there after being a member to switch over to my new insurance. Kim states they no longer take private insurance because the gym is getting over crowded but said they take the silver sneakers insurance. Went on to say they didn't want to upset the old people and I didn't look like I belonged in silver sneakers. Also charged me for two months outta pocket when I tried calling and going in the office to switch to insurance. When I went in the office she said I needed to come back. Didn't return my calls etc. Not good business here!!!!!!

Gym is too expensive for what is offered. 3 bathrooms that are usually dirty. One of which has a toilet that doesn't work half the time, when all they need to do is replace the flapper. The 2 times tried showering here after working out, the water never got warm. Paper towel dispensers that don't always work. Water fountain barely flows any water without you almost touching the spigot. The treadmill's TV doesn't work when you use the incline for some reason. Recently removed the platforms from under the squat/bench/deadift racks and swapped for thin padding. This anytime fitness location is not worth the $50 a month.

They advertise as accepting insurance programs but at some point stopped. Despite registering and already having the member card from active and fit listing showing their location as participating, they refuse. The anytime fitness website shows a nice picture of the owner with his family and a bio stating "feel free to contact him ANYTIME for ongoing support." They will not allow me to speak to him or email him regarding this matter and took offense when I asked. They insisted it wasn't his decision to make. If the owner isn't the person to talk to, who is? Take him off the website.... especially the part about contacting him ANYTIME.

This used to be a nice gym. Note the past tense. The equipment is not being maintained. 2 stair masters. 1 with cracked steps. All of the stationary spin bikes are missing the pedal straps so you can’t secure your feet. They used to offer classes in a separate room that you cold do at your leisure. You pick the class and the screen comes down and you participate. Now suddenly it doesn’t work.
The gym is constantly being mopped with Fabuloso. This is a very LOUD scented cleaner. As a migraine sufferer this shouldn’t be used in a public setting.
Do yourself a favor and find another gym.

Tired of #NoHotWater I feel I should be allowed out of my agreement since the facility cannot keep their end by providing useful shower facilities. All week regardless of time there has been #NoHotWater I don't have time to go home clean up the head out. I need a facility that I can rely on to provide the amenities advertised consistently.

EDIT: hot water issue fixed. I've not been here in nearly 3 years. A lot more equipment almost too much they've really packed the place. I had a good workout though

Useless costumer service. Hours of service are about 4 hours a day and ran by what I assume is the owner.

Not worth the high membership fees for the lack of service. Will Nickle and dime you.

Gym is small and lacks equipment. Once you realize the gym just simply can't meet your needs, there's no going back. And they make almost impossible to cancel your usless membership. You'll have to jump through hoops and get the run around before even being told how, when, where you can cancel.

I've been paying this membership on top of the YMCA membership I got, because Anytime fitness is just simply not worth wasting your time AND money on at the same time. Cut your losses 📉

Highly turned off by the staff at this gym. Firstly, I felt as though I needed to decide if I wanted to join for 149.00 before even being shown around the gym! Secondly, after I stated I wanted to try out the gym and had a 7 day pass she then tells me I need to pay 49.00 for a key fob. Totally unacceptable in my book…I will proudly go elsewhere!

The gym has been having a bad odor for the last couple months. It is becoming impossible to work out there. Just because there may be more people coming, dose not mean people should have to deal with the gym smelling bad. As it is I noticed people are getting off the the equipment and not wiping off. It is making me want to cancel my memebership.

I recently moved to PA and have tried multiple gyms and can honestly say, none of them even come close to Anytime Fitness in Highland, IN (where I was a member for 1.5 years). This gym is rarely crowded, has clean and modern equipment, very well priced (contract and CC/bak account info is not needed unlike most gyms), and you never feel judged.

Mike Farely, one of the trainers at Anytime Fitness is an outstanding resource. Very knowledgable and is an excellent motivator. With Mike's guidance, I was able to achieve personal fitness goals much faster than originally planned. I would highly recommend Mike for anyone looking for an extra boost at the gym.

Nice gym, maybe as nice as the gym in Schererville, but not quite as nice as the gym in Dyer. Clientele seem fine, other than some of the trainers. For example, there are twin girls that work there as trainers and seem to have the worst attitude, often making fun of members and overall just give a bad vibe of being condescending.

I have been with this gym for about three years. I found a job in TX and I decided that I wanted to cancel my membership. I filled out a cancelation form and gave them a 30 day notice and the the lady at the gym told me that I am all set and my membership is canceled. Four months later, I found out that they are still charging me the monthly fee even though I cancelled my membership. I talked to the manager and the owner and all they said is that they lost the cancellation form and they can't reimburse me because they don't have a proof of me canceling my membership. I asked them to ask the lady who did my paperwork and they said she doesn't work there anymore. That is ridiculous because they are the ones who lost the form and it is their responsibility to not lose it. I don't recommend it for anyone. I am not happy with how it ends even though I have been with them for about 3 years all they cared about is the money. Do not go there and don't waste your time and money!

I have been a member at Anytime Fitness in Highland since it opened. I've belonged to many fitness clubs and enjoyed them all but this one is, by far, the best yet. The gym is clean, equpment is accesible, the staff is awesome. I've recently started personal training with the 'best' trainers I've ever had the pleasure of working with.
