Do not recommend this gym definitely do not give them your number they are worse than used car salesmen. Like this isn’t a time share if I’m interested and ask for a price give me the price. Horrible business practice thinking you can get me to come in and talk me into it. I know what a gym has all I wanted was a monthly price that’s it…

I had my home location here. Unfortunately, I ended up transferring my membership to a new location. Partly because of where I now live, partly because of how services changed. I continued to pay tanning while others were not (they state they were allowing members to resign - but yet wasn’t advertised). By the time I found this out it was at least $140 in money I could have saved. They also had a member who would take all of the weights that he planned to use and then was not pleasant when asked to use them. I reported twice and they said they talked to him, but behavior did not change. I finally left mid workout because I couldn’t use the weights I needed. Membership was transferred per my request. I was never notified. I go in to tan and can’t because they transferred the membership and then “had now way” to let me tan. Just poor management happening. I hope they get this fixed. I used to love working out here. But it’s not just the same. They let go of their last trainer because they couldn’t afford him. So I hope they find a way to turn this around.

The staff have been absolutely phenomenal!!
So very kind, patient with my lack of knowledge, and egar to help me at my level.
The facility is so clean and laid out perfectly.

They have a nice facility… they just don’t know how to communicate with people. Started training with Brian, then he got fired after he was slacking and wasn’t giving me or the other people he worked with the kind of attention we were paying for. Then started working with Jeremy. After working with him for 10 months, I said it was getting too difficult to get together and meet and doesn’t send me any messages back about how he understands or anything. Then, I continue to get billed for 2 months without anyone giving me an explanation to why I was getting billed. After calling them and demanding my 2 months of money back, they said they will only give me one month’s money back due to a 1 month cancellation period. Definitely not going back and giving them my business. If you want to go to an Anytime Fitness, go the extra mile and go to Fort Wayne. Much better staff there.

I thoroughly enjoy going to this gym. I like how the machines are laid out. The staff is friendly, and really seem to care about their clientele. Zach and Jeremy are incredible!! They are so personable, friendly, and helpful, and always have a smile and a kind word. If you are considering joining - do it!! You won’t be disappointed.

I highly recommend this location of Anytime Fitness. It is the only one I have been to, lol. Zack has been great in helping with a monthly Evolt scan. I have recently begun the workout classes, and am loving it!

Switched recently from a different location and this gym is much bigger, and more options for workout equipment. Got a call after only a few workouts from one of the trainers seeing if there was anything he could do to help. He gave me tons of useful information. It is very welcoming, and the people here are fantastic!

I always gave 5 star reviews but am disappointed that changes of late that have taken away areas away from the classes or the open workout area that allows you to workout without the loud music and the traffic of people working out.There is currently no way to stretch or do the yoga exercises that I feel are so important to maintain flexibly at my advanced age. I might as well go to the YMCA if I have to work out in a place where everything is out in the open and loud.

Extremely clean gym with a wide variety of machines, free weights, and cardio machines. Staff is always polite and personable, and the gym has a members of all types, so no need to feel 'out of place'. The stereotypical dingy gym locker room is replaced by several immaculate restrooms with lockable doors and showers at this gym. It's also open 24/7 to allow for convent times for everyone to work-out.

The only real downside is the relative size of the gym, they make the best with the space they have, but coming in at peak hours may mean waiting for a machine or squat rack to open up. But even at its worst I've never had to wait more than 5 minutes for something to open up. Plus this is likely the largest public gym in Huntington, so you'll run into this problem pretty much anywhere.

Lastly, when signing up for a membership, the staff was completely transparent about payments and contractual obligations.

Had signed up for classes in October, due to family illness have been unable to make classes. Unable to cancel until 1 yrs is up without paying $250 and another month of classes. This was not explained when signing up. My fault for not asking or reading the small print. Most places do not charge for classes.

The Huntington, Indiana location is awesome. Plenty of cardio machines, freight weights and weight machines. They have a Spinning/Group exercise class room also.

Best thing I like about this place, multiple bathrooms/showers. Some locations have just one bathroom/shower for each: one men's, one women's but not here. I think I counted at least 3 or 4 bathrooms/showers. Makes a big difference when you're trying to work out and get cleaned up for work afterwards.

Staff was misleading when selling a membership about all that was included. When asked about it they were very rude in reply. BEWARE. I feel this is a bait and switch gym because they will not let you out of a contract even if they change the terms in the middle of the contract to start charging extra for services included at the start of your contract. They appear gleeful when they tell you that you can't cancel your contract without paying the remaining months in full.
