I’ve really been enjoying my membership at Anytime Fitness! From the moment I signed up, the staff have been incredibly welcoming and supportive. They took the time to orient me thoroughly to the facility, showing me how to use the equipment and making sure I felt comfortable and confident navigating the gym on my own.

Their friendliness and genuine interest in helping members succeed make a huge difference—especially for someone new to the space. I never feel out of place here, and that’s entirely thanks to the great team they have in place.

God Forbid if you call one time to inquire about the 1$ join fee after New Years.

You will then forever get NUMEROUS random calls texts and voicemails at all random hours of day and night.
I've answered 3 times talked to 3 different people and told them to put me on do not call list 3 different times.
I continue to get calls and texts. Thank God I'm single or else I would be if my partner seen me rejecting these dumb chits 24/7

The old lady who answers the phone and claims to be working there for 15 years should learn how to help solve people's problems instead of living off excuses and being rude. You will hear from other locations how Oaklandon and it's franchise is notoriously not helpful. They will act like your gym membership is a blood pact and cannot be canceled, regardless of life changing events. On top of that, seeing that they signed up a 2 year contract when it was only supposed to be 1 year. Very unprofessional and defensive overall. Not surprising to see how their Google review is lower then other Anytime Fitness locations. Shame on the franchise management and staff.

If i could give them 0 star i would done that because they very bad i use to go to that gyms and before i get the membership they told me if i move the will cancel the membership, i only been there for 3 day i stop going because i couldn't continue but even doe i stop going they still use to take money from my account every 2 weeks so i end up moving from where i use to live and told them i wasn't in the start anymore but they didn't want to cancel my membership they said i need to come back with proof of address when i wasn't even in the state anymore so i stop paying, just because they couldn't take money from my account anymore they course my credit to drop by taking 59 point from my credit saying i was in debt so i wouldn't advice anyone to go there cause they not good they only worry about themselves and don't care about no one else smh

I absolutely love Rod. He's the man I have always known. That I need to exercise to be in better shape and to lose weight My wife and I both decided We need to be pushed in the right direction to achieve these goals and rod was the man that was able to do that. We thank him very much for everything he's done for us and will never forget his smile. His dancing and his comical persona he keeps us motivated and that's what I like and that's what I need to keep going. THANK YOU ROD YOU ARE THE MAN!!!!

My boyfriend and I set up an appointment for today (Friday) to tour/discuss membership and we received a confirmation email Wednesday. Then a staff member emailed him asking if we’d like to tour after the fact we already had an appointment scheduled? We arrived on site for our appt, rang doorbell, and called waiting for someone to assist but no one even showed. Would’ve been nice to receive notice for a no show in staff so we didn’t waste our time. Will not be returning.

This is my home gym and I frequent several times a week. Employees are friendly and Rod is the best trainer!
However, this week the AC is not working properly… it is 80 degrees in the club. Please repair this ASAP.. with temps in high 90’s this week and probably 2 more months of hotter weather we need this resolved so we can enjoy the club that we love and are paying membership fees to use. Several members have complained this week!

Going down hill. Wipe dispensers frequently out of order or empty. Weight pins missing from several machines. Mentioned it to staff, was told they were around and i needed to find one and just take it with me machine to machine. Several safety covers on machines not attached properly.

I have been working out at Anytime for about 1 year consistently. I signed up with Rod my personal trainer and he is outstanding! My body and my health has dramatically changed in a very positive way thanks to him! Anytime Fitness is a clean, fun and safe environment to stay physically active anytime you want and I highly recommend joining!

Terry Garland is a terrible manager! He's unwilling to work with long standing members of the gym and he "nickled and dimed" me at the end of my contract to get additional funds from me. I had to contact corporate twice on him because he's so unwilling to do the right thing! At the end of the day, he still ended up going back on his word and charged me additional money after I cancelled my membership! He is the single reason that I will never start another anytime fitness membership anywhere moving forward. He needs to be removed from his duties and I hope this post prevents someone the heartache I experienced with this particular club and this particular manager.

If you signup for fitness training watch your debit account closely . They have very poor business practices. I'm suing them in court for falsely taking almost $5,000 out of my account for 15 training sessions. They falsified records of my visits. I suggest finding another place for fitness training

I join the gym only to have a personal trainer. Due to job obligations I could no longer continue the sessions. I fulfill the monetary obligation of the contract which was $380 a month only to find out they were still debiting my account for that $380 a MONTH!

Do not sign a contract with them they won’t let you out of it. The staff has been extremely rude about it and I’ve talked to other anytime fitnesses and they advised they would’ve let me out of a contract because they understand things happen. It’s unfortunate that I have to give this place a bad review seeing how I personally know a trainer there but Monique the manager has made this place a terrible experience for me. Also has resulted in a huge waste of money. I called a month ago to cancel my membership seeing how I no longer live in the area and she gave me an attitude when I explained to her that they charged me again for another’s months membership. Once I tried to call back multiple times to get corporates number no one (the only manager there) again Monique couldn’t be bothered to answer the phone. I’ve already spoken to the customer service assistant but seeing how these are franchised and independently owned I’m waiting to hear back from the owner. As long as Monique works there I will not even contemplate coming back. Bad staff inevitably makes all the difference.

I've been going to this gym for the better part of of 6 years and I've never been disappointed. It's a smaller, neighborhood style gym, but has everything I need as an average weight lifter. I am usually there early in the mornings and it's rarely busy. Everyone I've interacted with that works there has been friendly and helpful. The equipment there is kept up well and if anything is down, it quickly gets fixed. I'm a happy long term customer and have no plans to go anywhere in the near future.

Hey guys check out this anytime fitness, located on pendleton pike! I've been a member for I think close to a year and have had nothing but a welcoming experience. Ms. Monique Tillman is an excellent team lead/manager. Her people skills make you feel right at home, whether your a pro athlete or a complete beginner. Greeting customers with a smile and a laugh you'll fall in love with, all while staying highly professional. The personal trainers Abby and the others are eager so say hi or to lend a hand even if they are already with a client. All around great work team and keep it up! Easily 5 stars!

Been a member for over 6 years and have always had good things to say but as of recently new management has moved in and the manager is very secluded from everyone always has her door shut and never do I see her say a hi or bye to anyone besides someone new signing up. I really love this place! As for Tony below, you really should have read the signs on the door that clearly state the hrs a sales person will be there. Of course the lady would not let you in. It is a private club anf there was not a sales person available. That is part of th security we pay for. You should give it a 2nd chance,it is totally worth it.:-)

I went to the location on Pendleton pike, rang the bell at 6:25 pm, no one answered. People were working out, but just watched me ringing the bell. A woman approached with an entry key. I asked what the requirements were to join. She said she was just a member and the guy running the place must have left early. Not only was it apparent she wasn't going to let me in, I don't believe I would've been comfortable there anyway. I definitely would rather pay more somewhere else. Some folk,,, don't waste your time... :)
