British Swim School offers swimming lessons for kids and adults of all ages, starting as early as 3 months. Located inside of Hampton Inn & Suites, our swim school is open year-round, so you can learn to swim when you’re ready and continue until you’ve mastered the skills. We use gentle teaching methods and a survival-first approach to help swimmers of all levels become safer and more confident in the water. Our safe, fun, and effective teaching methods have made us the preferred choice for parents and students for over 40 years. Our confidence-building curriculum and small group swimming classes provide a consistent format and structure with one-on-one attention for each swimmer. Private swimming lessons are subject to availability.

Our 9-month-old has been taking swim lessons here and we couldn’t be happier. The instructors are so gentle and patient, and they make the classes fun and safe even for the littlest swimmers. We’ve already noticed so much more confidence in the water!

Our daughter has been in swimming classes since she was 10 months old. She is now 2 and it’s been wonderful seeing her progress and her being comfortable in water. Every instructor she’s had has been so patient and loving towards her. She can be shy at times but every transition she’s had to make, the instructors are so kind. I can see the difference of how comfortable my daughter has gotten and she looks forward to every swim class. I can’t wait to continue watching her learn more about swim safety!

We started with British Swim School when my son was 2 1/2 years old and still attend over a year later. The instructors are amazing and work so well with the kids at every level. It is a group class, but involves one-on-one instruction for each student. I think that watching students at different levels helps with the learning process (at least it is a huge benefit for my son, he sees other kids doing the skill properly and it encourages him to do it properly).

We really appreciate the fact that our son is being taught different swim strokes with very specific instruction on how to move his arms, how to kick, how to breathe, etc. We have enrolled him in lessons previously where they just put the kids in the water and told them to swim from here to there without ever giving any specific instruction on exactly how to do it. The British Swim School class is very small, so he gets a great deal of personal one-on-one attention, and his instructor keeps him focused and on task while still making it fun. He adores working with her and has already learned and improved so much in just a few short months - far more than he learned or improved in other lessons we had enrolled him in locally. We are so happy we switched to lessons with British Swim School and definitely recommend it!
