I have been working out at Cook’s Performance since 2020 after leaving my former gym to join my husband for a more challenging and personalized workout experience. Jeremy always pushes us to work just a bit harder than we want to and the rewards to our overall health and fitness have been amazing. An added plus is that I have made so many great new friends with like minded determination and goals in the Batesville area. I am so grateful to have such an amazing workout family so close to home. I started training at Cook Performance when I was playing soccer at 13. Through all the transitions from stopping sports, to college life, to post-grad Cook Performance has always had something to fit my stage of life. I have been training at Cook's for over 6 years. My wife and I began training there after our son started training there for his athletics in high school. We have continued to train with Jeremy and Dylan (specifically) as they are professional and hold us accountable to meet our goals, be it strength improvement, cardio or weight management & loss. I enjoy then pushing us to continue to improve and to focus on our own well being. I started working out in a large group setting 1 day a week in January, 2023. The workouts are thought out with strength and cardio pieces. They are challenging and are usually full body. The group works hard and is competitive but monitored closely throughout by Jeremy. I had often trained alone but this provides a good change of pace and some incentive to push a little harder.

The folks at Cook Performance are great to work with. I a little older and was worried about my progression and injuries. Dylan is knowledgeable and has done a great job at keeping it interesting with a variety of workouts. I look forward to going to my sessions with him. I’ve only been going for a month or two but I definitely see results I wasn’t expecting. I feel I am getting stronger which helps me with my workouts at home. I have been working out at Cook Performance for a couple of years now and can say that my fitness has improved greatly most especially because I wasn't disciplined about weight training. Cook performance is in a league of its own. I have belonged to a few different gyms over the years, but nothing compares. From the very first session, I was hooked. I got more done in that 30 minute workout than I did in 1&1/2 hours working out alone. The trainers push you to give your best for the 30 minutes you are there. They will modify workouts to suite your needs, but all the trainers expect you to work. And honestly, after investing your time and money, why would you not give 100%?
If you are considering investing in your health, put Cook Performance at the top of your list.

Cook Performance is the "real deal"! If you want a knowledgeable, trained staff to encourage you every step of your physical and nutritional well-being- this is your place.
I love the variety in my workouts. Jeremy is a perfect combo of "tough" (Jeremy, you're killing me) and "supportive" ( great job, Terri!)
You walk out the door with understanding that better health is a lifelong pursuit, not a 6 wk training plan(although that's a great start!)
I am a bit clumsy and an over 60 client, so when I have an occasional injury- I DON'T skip the gym- I know Jeremy will adjust my workout to aleve pain or protect the injury that day.
I have learned and respect- "if the workout is too easy, don't expect results.

I’ve always been very active and have always made it a priority to stay in shape. I accomplished this mostly in the past through running/cardio exercises. When the gym started to get a bit boring, I knew I needed more than cardio exercises and that’s when I decided to try Cook Performance after a friend recommended them. I am so pleased with the variety of training exercises that are incorporated into my workout. I believe Tucker is focused on helping me achieve my goals and makes each session challenging. My strength has increased and I’ve seen improvements in my ability to complete more core exercises and lift progressively heavier weights throughout each session. I actually enjoy my workouts! Tucker also helped me understand the importance of correct form by ensuring my technique is always correct to avoid injuries. I have seen amazing physical results: I have upper body strength for the first time in my life and I feel great! Thank you Cook Performance!
