The gym is awesome but the sauna is so terrible it’s constantly down like biweekly but it’s also just hot all the time it doesn’t make you sweat I’ve been in there for half an hour and just walked out with skin that was on fire. I’ve heard people leave saying they wasted their time in the sauna while I try to be in there

DON'T DO THE PERSONAL TRAINING CONTRACT!!
UPDATE 11/30/25: STILL NO REFUND FROM THE 2 AUTO DRAFTS TAKEN FROM MY ACCOUNT AFTER MY PERSONAL TRAINING CONTRACT WAS DONE.
UPDATE August 2025: My trainer quit with at least 2 makeup sessions owed. My replacement trainer didn't get my correct contact info. Then he had to take PTO the next 2 weeks which makes 4 makeup sessions owed now. Then the guy who manages the personal training is out of town. Meanwhile, money is still being taken out of my account for these sessions that I'm not getting. And my contract is up in 3 weeks. I was really trying to give this place a chance but so disappointed now.
Plus they do need to do better on cleaning up the bathrooms, making sure the spray bottles and paper towels are filled.
UPDATE: I decided to give this gym another try this month (march 2025), and what a difference new management and trianers make! Tiffany was so nice and helpful. The trainer, Gus, was fully engaged and helpful in my "kickoff" appointment. I do wish they had more stretching areas, but I would definitely recommend this gym now.

Sign up Saturday, they made it seem like it was mandatory to do the "Crunch One Kickoff" for $10 and made it seem like I would get some information to help me on my fitness journey at this 1 hour meeting. So I paid and scheduled my appointment.
I went to my appointment today, and of course, the 360 machine isn't working. (Strike one) The guy I met with didn't seem like he expected to be meeting with me for an hour to set me up with any workout plan. (Strike two) Despite the advertisement of "Leave" with a roadmap of everything discussed, including a printed report and 3D rendering of how you will look when you reach the finish line."
And when we did go out on the floor to do a quick "hit workout," he never said anything about my form when i was doing the exercises or what the exercises were meant for. (Strike three)
I am so disheartened because I was actually looking forward to this, so I just left after 15 minutes. I hope I make it back. If not, at least I can cancel after 60 days.
The couple of stars is because the place is clean and has lots of good looking equipment.
UPDATE: They eventually corrected that situation.
CANCELING MEMBERSHIP:
Of course, as with most gyms, you have to go in to cancel your membership when there is a manager on duty. So that is what I did on June 11th. I asked if that was all I needed to do, and if everything was settled, the guy replied yes. The document I signed said the balance due was $0 and has the box checked that says Payment/Info Removed. And it says his name was Liam. So imagine my surprise when on 7/1 there is a monthly membership charge to my bank account. I called, and the lady that answered did not sound happy about my reason for calling and stated "well you were supposed to give a 30-day notice before canceling." I explained what the document and the guy said, and she said she'd take my information down and have the manager call. And of course, I have not heard back from anyone.

Don't sign up for this gyms location. They will keep charging your account despite calling several times to cancel. My husband called several times to try to change the location of his "home gym" because when he signed up online it put in Indianapolis even though he was living in Louisville. They never changed it. Then when he tried to cancel they make you pay $11 to send a us certified usps letter stating you want to close out your membership. Ridiculous. Scammy & poor business ethics. It should not be that insane to cancel your gym membership.

Women restroom is always dirty. No because it’s open 24 hours during the week. I came in 3 days in a row and the same stain on the toilet has been there. Sauna is dirty. Claims to have a number to notify cleaning, but is gives me an error message. There barely any paper towels, or sanitizer to clean equipment. Trash is always full. This place had full potential, but can’t give something that’s not true.

The difference between this location and the Keystone location is truly night and day. At Keystone, the gym is often dirty, constantly out of paper towels and soap, and the sauna smells like it hasn’t been cleaned in months. So when you walk into a location like Michigan Rd, where the basics are actually taken care of, it feels like the best gym in town.
On top of that, the staff here is genuinely friendly and attentive. When I arrived, I was greeted with a warm welcome. Tevin wasn’t distracted on his phone—he actually noticed me walk in, which is more than I can say for most of the front desk staff at Keystone. I’m not sure if employees get recognized or rewarded when mentioned in reviews, but Tevin definitely deserves it!
I’m really glad that after joining Crunch, I’ve finally found my new home gym at the Michigan Rd location.

Plenty of space and equipment available, and I was glad to find a spot to work out on short notice. However, I wouldn’t choose this as my regular gym — it was noticeably dirty, and almost no one seemed to re-rack their weights. Nearly every free-weight machine was left loaded (see photo), which really affects the overall gym culture.

Great gym and incredible value. They have everything you need and I never wait for equipment. Staff is always friendly and professional. I went to this gym for two years and unfortunately had to cancel because I moved to a town without Crunch gyms. They made it very easy to cancel. Will definitely return if I move back to the area.

I LOVED my PT Kierra. She was amazing.
However, the etiquette in there left a lot to be desired. The cleanliness…no one seems to clean up after themselves like a functioning adult. And…I’m sorry…but the yoga class? I was recovering from hip surgery and had gained weight due to hormonal issues, I was struggling and I was met with dirty looks. Maybe a beginners class would be great instead of treating individuals like they’re something sticking to the bottom of your shoe.
It has potential.
But not quite there yet.

They are worst. To cancel the membership, you have to come in person or write a freaking letter with a physical signature and mail it.
I know many companies Customer service sludge, but Crunchy is on another level.
Everything they said when signing up goes out the window when you want to cancel the membership.

I ignored the terrible reviews and thought maybe my experience would be different. Big mistake. This gym is flat-out disgusting—dirty equipment, poorly maintained facilities, and zero pride in cleanliness.
Management? Unprofessional doesn’t even begin to cover it. They dodge emails and phone calls like it’s a sport, and when they finally respond, the “help” they offer is laughable. It’s clear they just don’t care about their members.
Save yourself the headache (and your money). There are plenty of gyms out there that actually value their customers. This one? It’s a textbook example of how NOT to run a business.

If I was just rating the gym it would be higher but the customer service brings it down. I have tried to cancel my membership due to moving and they refuse to do it. I tried in person at the gym and they told me it was canceled (that was a lie), I have tried over the phone and through email and they refuse to cancel it. I'm not able to go back into the gym and according to them that is the only way to cancel your membership.

It is 7:40AM and the gym is not open yet on a Saturday. They never seem to open on time which should be 7 AM. Please fix this ongoing issue! We had to leave since we waited for almost an hour. So many people left that were waiting.

Pros - Gym is well stocked.
Cons - You’ll never find a gym with worse member etiquette. Free weights are never put away and benches are rarely cleaned. I’ve also never seen equipment quality go down as quickly as this Crunch, also due to poor member etiquette with cleaning.
Other reviews mentioning staff are accurate too but the bigger issue here is the membership, not the teenagers behind the desk.

At what point do you take pride in your business????
To begin, it’s FILTHY!!! Sauna floor, disgusting. Floors period, disgusting!! We clean our own equipment , so there is time!! Instructors won’t show, late class cancellations and the doors won’t even be unlocked to get in the building because opening staff doesn’t show up.
Imagine, paying a membership , rising at 445am to meet your goals, driving to said location and you can’t even get in or the instructor calls off!!! Of course, you can go to plan B!!! But why!!!???? I paid and utilized resources for PLAN A!!!

While the equipment is updated and nice, there is almost always something wrong that just hasn’t been addressed. A couple weeks ago, there was no water at all. No water fountain, toilet or shower. On top of that, on several occasions, today being the latest, staff just doesn’t show up on days that arent 24 hour. Waited outside from 5am to 6am before their trainer told us he couldn’t get a key to open the doors until at least 8. If it’s convenient, then maybe it’s worth it, but if you have another fitness option, consider looking elsewhere.

I have been a member for over a year and this is my honest review. This is a gym that has everything you need for a great gym other than competent management and decent employees. I work out in the morning and usually I am able to get a good workout in before work. That being said, there are issues with these workouts quite frequently. 1. Staff is late or doesn't show up at all. This has happened multiple times and is very frustrating. 2. The owners/management do not prioritize maintenance. There are machines broken almost every visit, pads ripped, and most recently they have a massive leak in their roof. Rather than fix this leak, they decide to close the gym last minute to attempt to mop up the water. 3. Staff does not do their job. Most of the staff that I interact with are pleasant, but the paper towels and bottles are always empty, bathrooms are filthy, and most of the time the staff is just sitting at the front desk on their phone. This could be a great gym, it just seems as though management and staff don't care to make it one.

I’ve been going to this gym since it opened. It was really solid at the start but quickly went downhill. The gym could be really nice but the equipment breaks all the time and they don’t seem to care to fix it. The gym is also dirty as hell. They have 10 people standing at the front desk doing nothing when they could be picking up a mop. Gym has a lot of potential but poor management is keeping it from being good.

Following my first review, the manager took the sanitation issues seriously and recognized the risk of bacterial infections in the gym. She has been proactive in ensuring that the bathrooms are clean and that paper towels and sanitizer sprayers are fully stocked. In fact, she has personally stepped in to help her staff maintain cleanliness. Additionally, both water fountains are now fixed, and the water filter was switched out. My husband and I also received our reimbursement as promised. Overall, this is a fantastic gym! I encourage others to send more honest reviews to help continue improve the experience here!

I signed a transfer agreement so I can upgrade my membership to all club access. I keep coming to talk to someone about it, but they are telling me the transfer never happened even though I have an email. No manager ever calls you back and every one tells you a different story. Please order more non stationary floor mats. There is only 1 in the whole gym. The sauna never works. Keep a standard Crunch, you wouldn’t allow this if this was a more suburban area. I also don’t understand why the sauna power button is accessible to be turned on and off. It’s defeats the purpose of the sauna staying hot and you have to wait 40 minutes for it to heat up again after a random person turns it off.

I absolutely love Crunch Michigan Road! This place is so dirty, especially in the afternoons and evenings, that it feels unsafe to workout. There should be an attempt to keep it clean and items stocked. Management does not seem to care about the spreading of germs. The restrooms are lucky to get cleaned every other day, and forget dusting common areas and spraying down mats. I spend too much time cleaning here. I would never lay on the turf like I see some people doing because it is rarely vacuumed and is never sanitized. There should be a full time cleaning attendant, and when they aren't here, staff should be cleaning. Gross.

Dear Manager
I am writing to express my concern regarding the state of the gym over the past few weeks. I have noticed that many of the machines are in poor condition, with some equipment broken or not functioning properly, which affects my workout experience.
Additionally, the cleanliness of the facility leaves much to be desired. I have observed that the equipment and the premises are not maintained in hygienic conditions, making it uncomfortable and unhygienic for users.
I would appreciate it if you could consider these observations and take the necessary actions to improve maintenance and cleanliness at the gym. I hope these issues can be resolved soon so that everyone can enjoy a proper environment for training.

Been a member since August of last year….over the course of my membership the Kids Crunch area has been closed due to staffing several times….i have kept track for this year alone and today…once again… there was no staffing. There seems to be no plan or willingness to correct this issue….the good folks they have had they cannot seem to retain….this is symptomatic of poor management and/or ownership - I recommend spending your money elsewhere

I have been trying to cancel my membership for months since moving out of state, and it has been an absolute nightmare. I have sent multiple cancellation letters, and either they get returned to sender or the club claims they never received them. Despite all of this, I was still charged a $70 annual fee without any warning or communication.
Today alone, I called four different times, and each time I was either placed on endless hold or told the GM wasn’t available — clearly just being given the runaround. On my last call, I was placed on hold for over an hour (and I have screenshots to prove it). It’s extremely frustrating and unprofessional.
The only person who showed any professionalism and empathy was John Robinson — he was polite, understanding, and actually took the time to listen and offer help. He’s the only reason I didn’t completely lose patience with the situation.
This whole process has been exhausting, disappointing, and completely unacceptable. Customers deserve better.

FALSE ADVERTISING, I already reached out to the General Manager and asked where it explicitly stated that this promotion only applied to the "Peak" tiers. She said its only applied to the "Peak" tiers, I requested for her to show me where on the website/disclosures where it said that, its been 5 days, since the time of writing this, and she has not yet responded after the follow-up. Website and socials appear to show this promotion applying to all memberships. Talked with some of the staff and they also agreed with me that it's sketchy/confusing advertising. No staff could show me where it explicitly stated that the deal did not apply to the base plans, which they found strange as well. I already signed up for the membership so I am just out the money for the sign up, but hopeful this helps others to not trust the Promotions that this club puts out. Equipment and staff are nice, just general manager is not responsive.....

First, the good.
Location, cleanliness of the equipment and variety or the equipment. Also training staff is great.
Now, the bad! Everything else. They push you to signup for personal training without telling you that it’s a 90 day program and you can’t get out of it. So every 2 weeks you’ll be charged $100, and before you say anything about reading the contract, they don’t give you paper, it is all on the computer and you are rushed thru out the process. Trying to break the contract will require attorney because their stuff will avoid it at any cost possible. The usual- oh you need to talk to so and so but he isn’t here now, their favorite trick.
Second, their sauna - stinks! People go in fully dressed with their stinky shoes on just to “break the sweat”. It is disgusting. Dressing room is not very well setup as well as bathroom.

5 star review for the front staff for trying EVERYTHING to get my AirPod that was lost in the sauna room. Max especially sat in the sauna trying everything until he was able to finally get it from being stuck in the bench. AMAZING customer service and they are always friendly.

gym cancellation was terrible. The person who signed us up did not provide us with the contract and when asked for it we got an email that only gave us 1/4 of the contract and not any of the parts that said cancel 30day before the month to have no charge. Very upset as the staff is not on the same page at all. Haven’t been in two months and they have no ability to refund or do anything when you cancel they still charge you a monthly rate. Not to mention multiple machines were out of service everytime we went in to workout.

I'm gonna assume that this location just isn't the best. The classes are awesome though! This gym reminds me of an mid-grade Planet Fitness. But not as clean as PF. Upon my first visit, nothing that was stated in the welcoming email happened. I didn't get a walk around, I still haven't heard back from a trainer after signing up for CrunchONE kick off numerous times and I still haven't received my free shirt. It's not as clean and as welcoming either. The perks for me are the different classes that are offered, and they have an area to drop your kids off at. Other than that, I wouldn't keep my membership.

I have been a member for almost a year. I just asked to get my membership downgraded since I haven’t used any of the extra benefits not once. I was asked to pay a fee. I asked for what service? What are you providing for me to pay for? I’m already a member, you’re not going to do any extra work to change my membership. Of course, my questions couldn’t be answered. All I got was “ this is just our fee” so I asked to get my membership cancelled instead. If you can’t explain to me why you’re taking extra money from me and you just expect me to pay ahead and be clueless, try again!
I prefer to pay double what I’m paying now somewhere else than being fooled here.
It is not a great gym to begin with. Bathroom is rarely clean, always no paper towels on weekends. Sauna is down a lot, same as some machines. Staff not friendly at all, to be fair, a very few of them are.

This gym has an amazing selection of equipment, a friendly and helpful staff, and a clean environment that makes working out a pleasure. The trainers at Crunch are fantastic - they really push their clients to reach their goals while making sure they're performing exercises correctly and safely. I love the variety of classes offered here, from yoga to HIIT, which keeps workouts interesting and prevents boredom. The gym is always well-maintained and the atmosphere is very supportive, making it a great place to workout with others. Working in the healthcare field, being able to go to other organizations to experience good interpersonal communication will always be a plus, especially with the compassion and motivation they give to others. They are respectful of the elders and I would advise anyone with a loved one needing rehabilitation to look into Crunch on Michigan Rd.

i have been trying to cancel my membership since OCTOBER! i moved an hour away and it's hard for me to come in, so i called and was told to mail in a letter stating i was canceling my membership and i DID in october and november. i'm still being charged so i called 1/16 asking to speak to a manager. i never heard back
i called 3 times this last week and was told every time a manager would reach out to me and was even told on friday "no managers are currently here so i'll text my manager and let her know to call you"
here we are the following week, i get charged on the 11th of every month- i bet ill be charged again tomorrow. i had to call my bank and have them help me put a stop payment and dispute the charges. DO NOT SIGN UP FOR THIS GYM THEY WILL IGNORE YOUR CALLS AND REQUESTS TO CANCEL

This place has been consistently nasty lately. I workout at 430a/5a during the week, and weekend mornings, so i cannot speak on the other times of the day, but the women’s locker room is filthy in the morning: trash can is always over flowing, toilet paper all over the floor, stalls are gross, hair in every sink, makeup all over the counter, several occasions there hasn’t been any soap for handwashing, and the sauna doesn’t get hot enough when it is working.
The gym itself has gotten just as bad: dust bunnies everywhere, the turf area looks like it probably hasn’t been vacuumed in a few months, weights are all over the floor (safety hazard), cable attachments and clips are disappearing, there are a few machines that have been broken for a month or more, one being the only hamstring machine in that place, spray bottles are hardly ever filled, and sometimes i have to search for paper towels to wipe down the machines.
Ive been a member since they’ve opened… I do like the amount of space and the ample amount of free weights they offer, but i have watched this gym go down hill pretty quickly in the last several months. Sad. I really hope this can be turned around.

This location absolutely sucks! Do yourself a favor and do not join under any circumstances. I was told I could cancel online and then when I go online to do so I am told that I can go to the post office and send them a certified piece of mail from the post office and after being talked over by a lady who calls herself the general manager this morning for no reason she hung up on me. This gym is way over crowded, basic low grade gym equipment and not friendly staff. Do not make the mistake I made.

I’ve been a member for a little over a year. Almost every time I come here something is broken or malfunctioning. When I first became a member, the men’s sauna was down for like 4 weeks. When it was finally fixed, one of the benches inside the sauna had broken and stayed broke for several weeks. Til this day, there are still broken wood pieces in the sauna and the door does not shut properly. One week I came here and all the bathrooms were down and we had to use port-a-potties in the freezing cold and they definitely weren’t clean. Also forgot to mention the sauna is broke again and has been for close to a week now. I’m tired of paying all this money for stuff to be broken and unusable. As I’m typing this, the men’s locker room is shut down for cleaning. I know things break from time to time but it seems like every time I’m here something is down or needs fixing. I’ve never been to a gym like this especially ones that’s brand new. I’m about to cancel my membership because this is messing up the energy/vibe of my workout.

It’s a great Gym, but can we get some mats? There’s literally 2 mats to do core workouts or yoga with. Both these mats are completely done. The stretch zone isn’t any better because everyone seems to believe they’re supposed to walk on those fluffy mats with their shoes which they wore outside, to the bathroom, and drag in all the dirt and grime
Unto the stretch zone mats. A sign indicating to remove shoes when using these mats would be great. I’ve been to the other Crunch locations(Noblesville and Keystone) and they seem to have plenty of mats. It’s only this one that has 2 mats which are basically as thin as a Kleenex. So if you could get some actual mats, that would be great.

I enjoy going to this location for the zumba classes and the friendly employees. Max upfront is the best! July 2024 I enter Crunch to cancel the 12 month membership paying last two months off and also canceling the membership so I don't need to physically return to give the 30 days notice to cancel' as the big fear is that there will be some issue getting this canceled. I had read many negative reviews about Crunch causing problems when it's time to give 30 day notice/cancel membership. Counter worker rings up my 2 transactions for both final months and I am charged separately twice on my card and she emails the receipts along with a separate cancellation proof showing I am cancelling and even lists a "reason" why - also note that it is marked as a cancel - not a freeze or any kind of paused membership. she also sends me two receipts of the two charges both a minute apart both with different approval confirmation numbers. I exit Crunch and all seems well.. no charges on my account in Aug and September and seems all to be fine and over.
WRONG! a few weeks into October I start getting notice from Crunch indicating a problem with my card which is bizarre because this was cancelled and supposed to be over. I call Crunch and one worker confirms that while my info on their system shows I made those final payments something else was not done right for proper cancellation. He tells me I must speak with management and they can look into further a few days pass and I speak to management who then puts in a notice to ABC (who handles the charging aspect of Crunch) to cancel with reason that "Tried to Cancel In July" - so fast forward a few days and Crunch starts calling me from overseas customer service trying to collect payment and all the while give a weak argument for why I should still be responsible for this balance even though they can see the error is all on Crunch and I have the emailed documents. I mention to him that on crunch website there was some kind of "kickoff" promo put on my account in august when i was never in facility, also the site shows only 1 payment instead of the 2 payments I paid in july. I ask customer service if the original contract had not ended - then why did the charges stop as they were supposed to in Aug/Sept? Only to then start back in October as new amounts?? He claimed I needed to go back to store level management and deal there and I told him I already had! About an hour later he sends me a different email with a completely different amount than the main Crunch site said I owed. It seems obvious to me that Crunch is making it nearly impossible to cancel a membership and I need to contact the Better Business Bureau and Attorney General Office about these practices. If you are concerned about a potential problem happening with joining and becoming a member think very hard if it's very worth all this hassle. I suspect it's a business practice and not something controlled at an employee level at all because the store employees all sent me documentation that was asked at the time. Nonetheless, this has been a very bad experience...

The Crunch on Michigan Rd. is one of the best gyms I’ve ever been to. They have an incredible staff, and the gym is always clean and organized. I 100% recommend this gym to anyone looking for a great gym culture. Plus it has all the equipment you can ask for… stairmasters, treadmills, barbells, dumbbells, sauna, etc.
The staff here always make sure to greet me/take time to make sure I had a good workout! Highly recommend it to anyone who lives in the Indianapolis area.

I've had a membership with crunch for over a year, and I went in to cancel in June and the lady at the front desk told me it was canceled but I took a look at my bank activity and it still shows that I am being charged for it. I've talked to this location to talk to management and they told me that the high up isn't here and that I need to call the keystone crunch fitness. So I did and they said that he was not there. They told me that the lady renewed my membership instead of canceling and that there is nothing that they can do to fix this problem but to make sure that it cancels this month. When it should have been canceled in June. Which I haven't scanned my card at crunch since March which is what one of the employees said. So not only did there employees tell me things that they are unsure of but I have been getting charged for the past three months because of an employees mistake that they say they can't do anything about......

My cousin did this I tried to cancel and they told me I HAVE to pay for three months when I told them I can’t even use it I was then told that if I don’t pay it, it will make complications down the road but was not informed that I would now owe $105 because I canceled my card so they can’t charge me now I’m receiving messages, emails, calls, left and right saying if I don’t pay my outstanding balance that I will continue to be uncharged for 3 months and if I still don’t pay it after 3 months they will reach out to a collection agency and drop my credit score. Please please be careful with trials. Trying to charge me $105 for a membership I don’t use and paid $30 for 5 weeks ago is absolutely insane.

i’ve been going to crunch going on a year now. everything has always been great, i truly love this gym and it’s daycare. i will say, the new workers they are hiring for the daycare are the reason i don’t even want to come anymore. i’m a single mom so bringing my son is the only option 80% of the time. i’m not sure who the worker was today, but 15 minutes into my workout she called to let me know that my son was crying. i asked if she’d tried to play with him or give him one of the tablets. her answer was no. i told her to try that and call me back. she called me back to tell me he didn’t stop crying. when i walked into the daycare she was sitting in the same spot she was in when i left, it didn’t even look like she tried to get up and try to play with him. he was the youngest in there, he’s 20 months old so he needs to be played with. i’ve never had an issue with the previous workers, they’re always super kind and helpful, when i go to pick him up he’s always smiling and sometimes doesn’t even want to leave. i’m not saying she did anything to him to make him cry, but she for sure didn’t do anything to console him in the slightest. ^warning to those with kids trying to bring their kids in. hope for a better daycare employee that will make your kids feel welcome.

Staff really suck. I needed to freeze my membership a while back after having hip replacement surgery. After an employe incorrectly froze my account, my card was still being charged multiple times. Just recently, I cancelled my membership with them and am STILL being charged by them even when I have proof of cancellation with a 0 balance. Love this gym but was super disappointed today when they open at 7am and the doors were still closed at 8 am due to the lady not having keys. Wasn’t her fault but maybe don’t have someone open that can’t unlock the building? And maybe the manager needs to get with it and show up and make sure the staff is taken care of or better yet be like other gyms where people and scan at the door to get in and the place be open 24 hours since people want to be able to come to the gym and not wait on someone else to finally decide to do their job. Yes they have nice equipment, but if you workout early in the morning and have limited time to get your workout in, you may want to look elsewhere. On several occasions, today included, I have sat in the parking lot for 20-30 minutes at 5 am waiting for them to open. I end up just going home because I only have an hour to get my workout in, and by then I'm too mad to see straight. They really struggle to get their doors open at 5 am on Mondays.

I’ve been searching for a gym where the faculty knows how to treat its patrons and boy have I found it! Everyone here has treated me phenomenally and actually greet me when I walk in and will have a conversation with you! The gym is always really clean along with the mirrors too. Even the new manager they got Taylor, she is wonderful. Absolute joy to be around and she was able to set me up with a kick off which was a really big help since it’s been awhile for me. 10/10 would recommend this gym.

I moved and there isn’t a Crunch Fitness near me at all. I called on 1/31/24 to cancel and was told I needed to come in. I explained I would have to take a flight there to do it. I then was told by Ernesto to email them my request and they would cancel. I did that the same day. Today 2/29/24 I received a charge of $81.98. I called again and Paige told me they charged me the annual fee and monthly charge and there wasn’t anything she could do about it. She would leave a note for her manager. WHAT?!? It’s nearly impossible to cancel once you sign up so just don’t.
Update: I just received a voicemail from the GM who explained that you cannot cancel a membership within 60 days which is why I was charged for the monthly fee. But he will cancel my membership now. I guess I still don’t understand why the annual fee is being charged because it’s ANNUAL (meaning per year) and I did not keep the membership for a year. I feel like it’s just an underhanded way to take money from people. Because of that I’ll keep this review as is in hopes I can save someone else from a poor and costly experience. I’ll just use the YMCA with the same equipment and where I can go to any and they have all kinds of discounts…just saying 🤷🏻♀️

Edit 2/6/2024: I don’t know who is in charge of this place, but it’s a mess. Seriously, why the need to blare hard rap and EDM full blast every night? This is sensory overload! I want to be able to hear what’s in my earbuds but even full blast I still hear what they’re blasting through the speakers. It’s like this place is run by a bunch of kids with zero concept that environment is everything. And it’s disgusting in here. If they put half the amount of energy into cleaning as they did into having people stand around the front desk it might be cleaner. My boyfriend put his towel on the ground and dust bunnies of fur went flying. DOG FUR! And these piles of dust, tiny pieces of paper, fuzz, hair are covering equipment and locker room floors, dirty toilets, floors covered in grime - it’s repulsive.
The equipment is torn already. They’ve been open 6 months and several pieces are ripped wide open with foam everywhere. I’ve given them several months since opening, but I intend to cancel my membership. This place is a disaster and literally no one there seems to care.
Edit 11/19/23: Floors, sound level, sauna are fixed. It appears the AC might be functioning a bit, but still somewhat warm. Locker room obviously warm because of sauna, so not sure if they’ve adjusted the AC to compensate yet.
I was super excited about this gym opening, but so far, just very disappointed. I’ve sent messages, I’ve asked staff, to no avail. It’s like the kids who work there have no idea what’s going on most days.
1. The doors on the tanning rooms either don’t latch or have locks. This is a massive safety hazard for women.
2. The music is so insanely loud that you have to turn your AirPods on full blast not to hear it. I’ve never been in a gym this loud before. If you are neurodiverse and have sensory issues, I DO NOT recommend unless they fix this.
3. The sauna has been broken very early on in opening.
4. The AC is still not functioning. When I asked I’ve had people roll their eyes at me, tell me they can’t please everything, tell me that the warranty company isn’t upholding their end and they can’t get things fixed, and even that they were instructed not to turn the overhead fans on because it could cause issues elsewhere!!! It’s brutally hot in there during the evening so I’ve had to leave work early in hopes to avoid it being so hot in there.
5. The bathroom floors are already gross. I’m not sure which cleaner they’re using, but it’s not cutting it.
6. As some friends found out, note that you won’t be charged your annual fee of $49 until the second month and if you cancel prior to a year, you will be charged a $60 fee.
I’ve given it a couple months and will give it one more to see if any of these issues are fixed before canceling and will update my review if they are. I’m super bummed because I canceled a gym I was with for 7 years and was really excited to join.

By far a great gym overall clean and plenty of equipment to use only down side on my part is that all the scales aren’t working and I have to constantly ask when they are gonna be replaced but I’ve never been given and actual answer it would be great if they could get replaced that’s the only issue I have I know a lot of other ppl would appreciate it aswell
