Everyone who works there is very nice, and both Dom and Lilly have been very helpful. But I wasn't able to get on a couple of machines because they were taken with people waiting. I normally do not have to wait on a machine.

The location on CR 17 is very unsanitary. Absolutely no cleaning gets done in the restrooms. They’re finally making some improvements to equipment but overall very poorly managed. Seems like they don’t care to improve either.

Honestly it wasn’t that bad of a gym till I decided to cancel. I was not on a contract but I was still asked for proof that I moved. Like that’s private information for one and i just requested to cancel so just take my card off the account. Anyway I was just charged with a late fee. I wish it went differently.

If you've gone to the local planet fitness just continue to go there. It's ridiculous what you have to pay for such a run down gym. It's not half as clean as planet fitness and even less equipment. I switched to this gym because my company got a discount and made it about the equivalent cost to planet fitness and I regretted it since the first day.

This gym is very bad, it is more expensive than the others and there is always a lot of damaged equipment, when you want to leave and cancel the subscription they force you to pay 1 year. I was going to Venezuela for 1 year and I let them know that I was leaving, that I did not want to pay for 1 year without using the service and they were asking me for a lot of proof to see if it was true that I was leaving, I showed them the ticket and that was not enough For them, they forced me to pay for 1 full year without using the service

Acceptable facilities for powerlifters and serious weight trainers. 2 full tracks and more advanced equipment is enough for all the Big 5 exercises. However, many of the other machines are either busted or in disrepair. The owner clearly isn't interested in fixing epuipment once it breaks, making it a rather unsafe place to exercise.

Horrible business operation here.
Tennis courts not in membership, basketball courts only certain times. Gym is small and out dated equipment that don't even have readable weights on half the equipment. Won't let you cancel so they trap you after you find out it's a joke. They should tell you that you can't use tennis courts and basketball sometimes when you sign up.

I had a generally positive experience overall at Eastlake. A few of their satellite locations always seemed to be under duress. The trash cans runneth over, toilets unclean--however under an ideal lifting session, I wouldn't need the toilets.

Ultimately, Eastlake got beat-out on amenities by another gym in the area.

I canceled over a year ago and was told it was canceled already come to find out they looked at an old account and not the present.....I asked for refund for that money as I have not stepped foot into this gym and refund was refused.....I don't understand why this is such an issue I went at least a few dozen times a year every time I had it...it's obvious they made a mistake as the same mistake was made when I called yesterday to inquire about the credit card charges and they lady Megan said there where no accounts open under my name or phone number......then I called back 20 min. Later to get a proof it was canceled for credit card company and was notified that I had another account open....idek know hot they put me down for 2 accounts beyond blown away my billing statement for credit card only shows a hand full of transactions or I'd seen it earlier......anyway go to planet fitness cheaper good place....

I come to this gym almost daily over my lunch hour. There are usually maybe 10-15 people using the weight and cardio area between 11:30-1 PM, so not crowded at all. The area features at least 10 treadmills and quite a bit of other cardio equipment. There are also tons of weight equipment and a basketball court. The staff is very friendly and can be seen constantly walking around cleaning. I don't feel comfortable going alot of places right now, but I'm confident this location has precautions in place better than most gyms.

This location has a basketball court and multiple tennis courts, which is great if you enjoy tennis and basketball. It was an old racquet club, turned gym. Eastlake has multiple locations which makes them the perfect gym if you live and work in the Michigan area! The Granger location is a great free weights gym etc...Family run business, great for everyone.

I've been to just about every gym within an hour drive of here. This gym literally reminds me of an overcharged planet fitness. Yeah they have a basketball court and tennis court, but they have hardly any free weights, cramped spots for lifting, and not even any straight bars with preloaded weights. I constantly felt as though people were in the way, and i hardly consider this a body building gym. The granger eastlake location is by far better and worth the membership. The only thing this one is missing is a lunk alarm. I spent a lot of time just trying to figure out what i could use for my workouts while having to make do with what they had. They also have no 24 7 access, making it further pointless to go here. Make the drive to granger, its worth it.

This is the only location with a basketball court. Their website lists 4 hours total of open court for each week. This is because they double-dip on income by renting out the court to Tipping Point, which would be tolerable if they only used it a couple of times a week during non-peak times. Nope, the Tipping Point guy told me they were there until 7pm every weeknight, and until 1pm on Saturdays. So, I went at 1pm on Saturday, and one court had 20 kids on it, and the other was rented out so two people could hit baseballs (not in the batting cage). I asked the lady at the counter about it, and she said they pay more to rent that court. I will not be renewing my membership.

Eastlake has a lot to offer. Including the chance that they will fail to cancel a membership for you claim that you never canceled it and continue taking your money for months to come without even looking into why it was never filed. This place is a joke and their management team has terrible customer service I’ve had over $200 taken from my account after I filed to cancel and contacts their account receivable person jazzy Perez. Nothing was ever done to look into why the cancelation was never filed. Yet I am at fault for it happening. This place is absolutely ridiculous I don’t suggest signing a membership unless you plan to never be able to cancel!

I was a visitor at this gym.
This gym is in dire need of renovation and new cardio equipment. The nursery and its bathroom were terrible, with missing baseboards, peeling paint, carpet that is puuled up. It didn't even have soap. I would not put my kid in the nursery there simply because I'd be afraid of them eating pieces of peeling plaster. I had to used the nursery batroom to change because the locker room is closed for renovation. The weight equipment is limited, but adequate enough to get a sufficient work out in. The stairmill needs to be replaced because it doesn't work well. They have popular basketball courts and tennis courts.

In our situation, this place had NOTHING good. Rude staff. Dirty and outdated facilities. Horrendous contracts that leave you forced to use the dirty equipment and dealing with the rude staff for 1 year before you can cancel. At least in our experience, we would NEVER come back here again.

We have been trying to get my wife’s account canceled for 8 months. She hasn’t attended for a year. They won’t let you cancel over the phone, so don’t move anywhere. They will happily just bash your account monthly for no service rendered. We just had a baby so it’s been hard for my wife to get in there. I went I. To handle it and they still wouldn’t let me take care of it for her. Clearly don’t care about the people in there community.

They will charge you after your contract is up! I moved from Chicago, and was told by the manager that when I moved I wouldn't be charged anymore. Since then they have continued to automatically withdraw money out of my account without letting me know that this was now month to month. I cancelled my policy and they STILL are charging me because they say it takes 30 days to cancel my account. Don't use them unless you want to get screwed out of your money!
