If it was possible to give this gym zero stars I would. Me and my fiancé signed up for the gym, we were going to do it online, but upon calling them, they informed us it’s easier to just come in. So, we both go in. My fiance goes in the first day fills out his paperwork and I go in the second day and I fill out my paperwork, we’re informed that it’s going to be considered a family plan and it was just going to be one account and it would be $90 a month. Of course that was a lie and it was actually $50 per person a month, which $10 isn’t a huge deal, I just don’t like being lied to. When this was brought to the attention of the gentleman who filled out the contracts, he said it was his bad and he’s sorry, but there is a pamphlet on the wall that explains the process. They are now trying to charge us $100 to cancel our gym membership. He literally said on the phone, “ You don’t have any proof that I told you the wrong information” If this is how this new business is going to start out the way they handle things, I don’t foresee it staying very long. If you’re looking for a bodybuilding gym, that doesn’t lie when you sign up, I would go right next-door to iron Phoenix

A wonderful gym…very clean, such good equipment, never crowded. They have a sauna and cold plunge, posing room, tripods to record your sets. This is one of the best gyms I’ve ever been to. So glad I came across this place while working out of town!!!

Empire Fitness is a top of the line gym. Starting with their wide variety of high quality machinery along with an extremely vibrant but also cozy and comfortable atmosphere. What I personally respect the most is that Empire is fully their own brand, completely distinct and set apart from other gyms I’ve experienced not trying to fit into certain molds and standards of the typical gym structure but going beyond that, even in ways that many members won’t understand. Based on the thematic of “Batman’s Cave” the black theme gives this feeling of focusing on your workouts, good equipment, quality lighting in the room, cold plunge tub, sauna room and second floor with a cardio equipment and let’s not forget 24hrs open. Empire fitness stands out from the rest. It’s clean, aesthetic, and has way more to offer than most places in the area. I really like that there are multiple areas to work out — there’s plenty of space and equipment, so everyone can feel comfortable doing their own thing.

The staff is super friendly and helpful, and the equipment is all new and well taken care of. It’s also open 24 hours, which is perfect for people with busy or unpredictable schedules like mine.

I’m somewhere between beginner and advanced, and this gym makes it easy to stay motivated. No complaints — just a really solid place to train and feel good doing it.

Empire is one of the better gyms I have been to. Sign up on their website was easy and I got a link to get set up for door access immediately, the 24 Hour access with sauna and cold plunge make this gym stick out over others in town. There is plenty of equipment so you are not waiting your turn for machines and they even have a dedicated boxing equipment area. The facilities have always been clean and well taken care of. I would definitely recommend this gym to anyone.

Empire Fitness is a nice captivating gym! It's one of the few 24hr gyms in town that offers you a lot; with their cardio, weight, boxing equipment, awesome lighting, sauna, ice bath, posing area, and almost "private" or personal areas upstairs! Definitely worth checking out if/when you get a chance. I switched over to Empire because the other gyms I would go to became a bit too crowded for my taste. With the flexibility of being open 24hrs, I can get those serious, locked in sessions without too much disturbance.

I was very impressed with the equipment selection in this place . Kudos to empire fitness for bringing a gym and equipment to Lafayette, Indiana of this caliber . I travel all over the Midwest to different gyms to train a search for this type of equipment as I am a bodybuilder, and this now meets my personal standard in every need. From the red light sauna to a cold plunge to help with recovery and inflammation will be a big help and tool to add to my arsenal This competition season.
