Stay far away from this gym. I would give them zero stars if I could. Awful environment, disgustingly dirty and the owners are rude. It’s supposed to be a 24 hour gym and they’ll close it for days without notice or even a note on the door. There’s a nice workout room that was opened at the beginning of my membership for maybe two weeks and hasn’t been available to paying customers since. I canceled my membership at the end of my contact and paid another month because “they needed 30 days notice” and they still charged me another month. This place is a scam, opened for the owners friends. The male owner is creepy towards the women, makes men feel uncomfortable, and yells at old people in front of everyone. This gym is not only the worst gym I’ve ever been to but the worst establishment I’ve ever walked into.

Just paid 1000$ for both my stepson and I a whole years membership. Tried to go to the gym for the first time and not only will the door not open for anyone's keys, but no one has been inside or answering the phone for over 4 days. We haven't even had our membership two weeks.

Was called out by the owner in front of the entire gym, yelled at, cussed at, and kicked out for having the nerve to not give up the equipment I was using to one of the owners friends.

Equipment is run down. Carpets are ripped. Broken equipment (Months ago) not being repaired. Bathrooms with broken stalls/urinals (several months) not repaired.

This place is horrible, idk where to start. The bathrooms have mold, the water fountain was out for months and the boys rr only has one working toilet that never has toilet paper nor soap to wash your hands so last time I had to walk over next door to use the restroom and when I told the owner about it she said “well do you come here to workout or use the bathroom” as an 19 yo that’s completely irresponsible as an adult and rude, I will no longer be going here and also she didn’t let me stop the payments either.

Been a member for about a month now. Gym is very dirty, bathrooms are disgusting. Don't expect to use the gym 24 hours, been several times early in the mornings and the key fob will not let you in. Other members have also showed up during these times and their key fobs will not open the doors. Several machines are out of order.

Canceled my membership back in October due to moving over two hours away, with the two managers. They told me I paid my membership and wouldn’t be billed anything else. Now it’s March and they billed me again without my permission and this whole time I thought my account was closed. Absolutely hate customer service like this. Do not recommend for this reason.

I have been going to Fitness 1440 January 2013. Like many people, I made a New Year’s resolution to lose weight & get healthy. During my orientation with a trainer he encouraged me to either join a class or sign up for a personal trainer to help ensure my success. I didn’t heed his advice, thinking I could do it on my own. So, I began by using the treadmill, elliptical, stepper & stationary bike 2 days weekly. I was struggling to motivate myself to take the time to go to the gym, giving every excuse I find not to go. After a couple months of this I was bored with doing the same thing & felt like I was not making progress in my goal.
Ben, my soon to be trainer, continued to gently suggest, on multiple occasions, to obtain a trainer & attend classes. Finally I gave in & hired him for a few months as a trainer. That opened up a whole new world for me! He pushed me, taught me & listened to me, to find out what was holding me back. He truly cared about helping me to change. I had then increased my workouts to 3-4 times weekly & was held accountable. My enjoyment level increased tremendously having a trainer.
After more gentle encouragement from Ben, I started participating in a class 3 times weekly. WOW, what a difference that made!! I met new people & even buddied up with 1 person. Now I go 5 days weekly, doing something different every day to keep it interesting.
I went from 180lbs to 130lbs in 1 year, going down 5 pants sizes!!! I feel better than I did 20 years ago. I never could have done it without all the help of the staff. They really care about the health of their members, not just having bodies in the gym.
Fitness 1440 has become a daily routine in my life & I would highly recommend if you want to be healthier & happier, come and join our Family. It can change your life too!

I am really starting to feel like I am in good shape again thanks to Fitness 1440 Seymour. The fact they are open 24 hours really makes it easy for me to work out on my own time. I also like the trainers a lot. They push me to work my hardest every day, and are very encouraging. I absolutely recommend Fitness 1440 to help you stay fit.

I have been pleasantly surprised with the results I have seen so far at Fitness 1440. Any time I have a question, I ask one of the staff members and they are more than happy to help me choose the right exercise and the proper technique. After my year membership was over they still charged me, so I called an asked to cancel the lady said that was fine. Well a little over a week later they charged me for a full month. So I called an they said oh we forgot to tell you to fill out a cancellation paper. I said no problem, but id like a refund. She said oh no we dont do that. So they messed up an I get punished? It's not my fault their employees are incompetent.

Fitness 1440 is a family-oriented friendly gym. I've been going there with my wife for several months now and we both love it. We have been warmly welcomed by the owners Ben and Amanda and the existing members are friendly supportive. They offer great classes on Dr. Sears Prime Time Health which is an excellent way to learn about healthy habits.

Fitness 1440 Seymour has changed my life. I have been going there for three years now and have lost over 50 pounds and feel great. When I started to work out there I decided I wanted to make a life style change of eating healthy as well. I began to feel really good about what I was doing and what I was accomplishing.
