Terrible establishment.

Coach K is unprofessional. She cancelled practice or shortened practices at the drop of a hat.

In return, they expect their athletes to attend practice when ill, during family celebrations, and even in inclement weather. The culture of the gym is one-sided and very much cliquey.

They focus on winning at the cost of happiness.

The owner does not know how to manage her staff. She allows parents to be gossipy and hold multiple forms of communication. Allowing misinformation rather than holding one solid stream of communication.

I highly recommend staying away from this gym. Find a real Five Star gym else where.

We have now been to 3 total gyms trying to find our “home” we have only been with 5 star for a short time but I’ve never felt more at ease.
My daughter has been tumbling since she could walk. She was starting to develop an unhappy relationship with the sport. This was something I had to intervene in. I did so much researching, review reading and inquiring to find a new place for her to find her love for cheer again! We found it here! My kiddo is finally excited to go to cheer, tumbling or just for open gym nights! I never have to battle her to get ready for cheer anymore. She asks me daily when do we go to the gym again?! She has found her passion again! Even thought she’s just 5 and she has moments I have to give her the “mom” look lol I’ve never seen her work so hard!

Absolutely incredible establishment for young ladies looking to better their skills. The owner is an amazing trainer that has helped my daughter reach a level we didn't think was possible. My daughter gets excited when it is time to go to practice. All their championship titles speak for themselves. I can not recomend Five Star enough.

My daughter is 5 and started attending just once weekly at Five Star in November of 2024. She was a beginner - she could not even do a proper somersault. Within 5 months she’s not only doing proper cartwheels but she has her back bend walkover! It has definitely built her confidence and she enjoys going. The coaches & owner are wonderful and very personable. Don’t hesitate in supporting this small business & sending your kiddo to Five Star!

My 2 granddaughters have been with FSA since ages 3and 4 for 10 plus years. Absolutely love Alisha, Jazzmin, and the other coaches. They both look forward to their practices, have develpoed CV their skills at an appropriate individualized pace, and have learned teamwork, sportmanship, leadership skills, thus increasing self esteem and confidence. You will not find a better gym with a more energetic and dedicated owner, coach, and leader as Alisha!!! She does not just create and run amazing cheer and hip hop programs, but she is involved in training all of her students!!! She is on the mats with her students, training them, spotting them, and creating confident kids!!! The environment she and the other coaches have created is energetic and fun!!! It does not matter if you want competitive training or learning the basics all the coaching staff is invested in every student! Love this gym and all of the staff that makes this gym amazing!

We have been attending Five Star for almost a year. Their tumbling classes, coaches and overall atmosphere are the best in Hendricks County! Hands down! The coaches are so encouraging, they know what they’re doing and every single one of them wants your athlete to learn and grow. We love five star. We met Alisha when she moved her business to Plainfield and held an open house. I signed my daughter up for tumbling only but she has loved it and has progressed so quickly at this gym. They have a good system for moving each child through with one on one time for each kid during every class. They have a strong focus on technique and provide lots of feedback for kids to progress quickly.

Weve been to three places total in the gymastics and/or tumbling world and five star is the only place my daughter has stuck with and loved. She does privates with Jazzmin during the year and unlimited classes during the summer. Theyre extremely affordable with the unlimited option and Alisha is both caring of her students but sets clear expectations for work ethic and respect on the floor. Highly recommend

This has been a great place for my kids to grow. If you’re looking for somewhere to grow and become part of a family this is it. We are on our second season here. The coaches are amazing. My kids love their team coaches Jazzmin, Addie and Kieraleigh dearly! If you have little boys interested, bring them! My son wants more cheer “bros”.

My daughters started going to Five Star Athletics 3 years ago to take tumbling classes. They were older when they started so I wasn’t sure how fast they would be able to pick up tumbling skills. The coaches worked with them and were so patient with them, encouraging them along the way and correcting their technique as needed to ensure their safety and to assist adding to those skills in the future. Three years later, we not only go to Five Star for tumbling, but also for All Star cheer and dance. You won’t find a gym with a better atmosphere or coaches who care about your kids as much as they do.

Five Star Athletics is not the program for any child that wants to grow and compete to full compacity. The owner/coach lacks the talent and technique required for progression in the sport, she is also unable to keep up with the trends of the business. If you are looking for your child to grow and advance properly I would put my track shoes on and run in the opposite direction. Save your child frustration especially if they are older, and save yourself time and money.
