Glutes is such a fabulous gym in so many ways! The trainers are fabulous, the members are so much fun, and the classes work!!

First and foremost, the owner, Marla, is fantastic!! She is a great trainer and is always quick to correct form, help configure modifications, and be a cheerleader for everyone in class. Her energy and passion goes into everything at the gym!

The workouts are challenging and fun. The setup is ideal for those of us who like our personal space when in the gym but also like the feel of group classes and the energy they bring. Everyone who goes to Glutes is friendly and the community there is the best.

I have been going for almost a year and it is the highlight of my day. Try out an intro package, it is the best way to get a feel for the classes, times, amenities, and community!

Love this gym! I'm coming up on my one year anniversary of being a member, and I'm so happy with my experience. The set-up of the gym is truly unique and super motivating--having your own private box while still lifting alongside others is the perfect mix of having your own space with the fun and accountability of being with others. I've been working out at Glutes317 for 3 and half years and it's completely changed my body and soul. I started with zero lifting knowledge and the trainers had nothing but enthusiasm and patience for all of us. The trainers motivate you to get stronger and push through your fears - reminding you just how strong you are every day. I definitely joined hoping to lose weight (which I did) but I gained so so much more. I am forever grateful I finally showed up to a weekend "In The Beginning" class and tried something new.

I absolutely LOVE this gym! I have been training with Marla since 2020 and have been a member of Glutes since it opened in 2021. The programming is well-rounded with everything from HIIT to heavy lifting to mobility work. I’ve seen such improvement in my strength, my muscle definition and my overall confidence since joining. The space allows for the best mix of community accountability but within the privacy of the personal containers that allows for individual equipment usage. They offer allow flexibility with their virtual options which I’ve used since moving from Indy. Glutes317 is much more than a gym, it’s a community and would recommend it for anyone looking for a space to train and grow! 🍑

The best gym in Indy! If you’re looking for a true fitness community, this is it. I’m a 3.5 year member and haven’t wanted to switch back to a commercial gym because the benefits here are that good. Glutes317 is a major reason I’m in the best shape of my life so far, and has also been a big part of growing my lifting confidence! It’s wonderful to be able to just walk in, not fight for equipment, get in a solid lift, and be guided by excellent programming and encouraged by those around you lifting with you. also I built a dumpy here!!! come lift with us! 🍑

I celebrated my 2nd anniversary with Glutes317 this month & let me just tell you, it’s been life changing!!! I had a hard time getting back into the gym after covid/quarantine. I was struggling with my mental health & desperately needed a push to get my health goals back on track. The team at Glutes317 welcomed me with open arms & a smile each time I walked through the door. That was a huge turning point for my health & I have this gym to thank.

Marla (owner & trainer) is absolutely fantastic in every way. She’s spent immense time & energy into making Glutes317 what it is today. I was on the hunt for a gym perfect for me and I found it with Glutes 317. I first came across it through ClassPass and tried the “Let’s Date for 8” deal—8 classes for a super reasonable price. After a few sessions, I knew I was sold and upgraded to a full membership.

What I love most is the open-air vibe, the welcoming atmosphere, personal work out space, and how comfortable it feels working out here as a woman. (Although it’s not just for women !)

The space is super clean, has great amenities (the sauna is my favorite) , and the community is really supportive. Couldn’t recommend it more!

As someone who had literally never lifted weights before, walking into a gym for the first time was very intimidating — but the second I stepped into GLUTES 317, I felt welcomed. The environment is encouraging and judgement-free, with people of all experience levels working hard!

You can expect GREAT music playlists and supportive trainers in each class. They don’t just demo the exercises and walk off — they take time to explain every movement clearly, check your form, and encourage you to add weight and push yourself (safely!) so you actually get stronger.

GLUTES 317 has helped me build confidence, strength, and a whole new mindset when it comes to fitness. Highly recommend for anyone — whether you're brand new or an experienced gym goer.

Seriously my favorite gym. I describe it to people as private weightlifting with a group. It's the perfect mix of accountability and privacy. Marla is fantastic at keeping you challenged but also safe. Lots of other amenities too like a sauna and tanning.

I highly recommend this gym!!! I have been going to Glutes 317 for over a year now and absolutely love it! I love the private boxes that allow you to have your own equipment but also enjoy the social aspect of the group classes. The trainers are all very knowledgeable, fun to work with, and accommodating. I am now 8 months pregnant and they have been amazing at helping me to adjust the workouts so that I can continue lifting safely throughout my pregnancy. The workouts are effective, challenging, and fun and I actually look forward to them. On top of the great workouts there is a nice sense of community throughout the gym. There is a book club and multiple social events going on each month. Marla the owner collaborates with other local gym owners and businesses to provide different experiences - one that I particularly appreciated was when they brought a pelvic floor therapist to teach a group PT session. You can count on a lot of bonus opportunities like this that you wont find anywhere else. It is worth every penny! I have really enjoyed being a part of this gym and community ☺️

I stayed in one of the bunks this past weekend for the Titty 500 Burlesque Festival and I thoroughly enjoyed my experience. I enjoy unconventional experiences and stays on my travels, especially ones that bring in a community that uplifts body positivity. To say this was a perfect match for my glitter weekend would be a major understatement.

Marla was a gracious sponsor for the weekender event and I was beyond grateful to experience her “Do It In A Box” vision, which came about during Covid.

Side note. The mini fridge had complimentary Redbull in the Bevy Box and that won my heart over when I paroozed the space upon arrival 🥰

I love thisplace! I was looking for a gym that focuses on strength training and this is the place! I've learned new techniques and gotten comfortable with the barbell. I look forward to the new routines every 4 wks and also getting to see my progression and strength develop..working my way to my first pullup! All in all such a great place to train 100% recommend.

If you’re looking for a gym that’s inclusive to EVERYONE, has an owner and staff that truly care about each other and their members, a workout that will leave you motivated to better yourself (mentally and physically) AND some pretty sweet amenities (sauna, tanning, SNACKS), then look no further! Love me some Glutes317! Marla & her team are so welcoming & do a great job at explaining everything in a way that newcomers don't feel intimidated. Classes are small so you get good direction & modifications if needed. No wasting time here waiting on equipment like at other gyms, because you have your own! No having to buy or learn to create a lifting program because they have it all planned out for you. The other members are super nice, & the space itself has a sense of community with positive vibes!

Really glad I gave this place a shot- not intimidating, unique and open layout, great amenities. It's nice that you can sign up for a 30 minute demo before committing. As a former college athlete, I (ignorantly) believed I had enough weight training experience to work towards fitness goals independently but frustratingly saw only mild improvements in strength and fitness goals in the years following college. In Dec of 2021, my wife gifted me a few personal training sessions with Marla and I’m incredibly grateful she did. In brief, Marla has been incredible to work with. By demonstrating/teaching appropriate form I have been able to avoid injury and significantly improve my lifting numbers with squat/dead lift/RDL/bench press etc over last year+ by far more than I had in previous ten years. Marla is knowledgeable, personable, and adaptable in shaping workouts to meet individual needs/goals as level of fitness, experience, strength, body type dictate. For anyone out there who has noticed relatively slow or stagnant progress with fitness goals and perhaps deep down know you are overestimating level of expertise/knowledge with weight lifting (like I did and I’m sure I’m not the only guy in this boat )would strongly recommend giving Marla a chance!

I've been going to Glutes 317 for around 8 months now and I absolutely love it! I wanted lifting based workouts but struggled to push myself at a traditional gym. Glutes uses a class structure while still allowing you to lift HEAVY. It's amazing!!! You have all of your own equipment, get to be outdoors, and have great trainers to push you. Where do I even start!? I love this gym and community more than words can describe and agree with the positive feedback shared by so many in previous reviews.

I knew this was the place for me from the first class I attended in December 2021. The space is unlike anything I have seen before- it's a total "VIBE!" Each guest gets their own personal shipping container fully equipped with everything you'd need for a strength-training workout. I appreciate that there is an "In the Beginning" class for those who are new to weightlifting. This really helped me feel more comfortable and not so intimidated by the equipment. I was a little nervous about working out in the middle of winter "outside," but between the small space heater on the wall and the workout, I stayed warm and worked up a good sweat throughout the entire 45-minute workout.

Fast forward to today, I've been a member of Glutes 317 for six months now and I could not be happier to have found this gym and group of people! I've lived in Indianapolis for eight years and have struggled to find a fitness center or type of workout that I actually want to continuously show up for… until now! If you can relate- RUN, don't walk, to Glutes 317!!!

A few of my favorite things about Glutes 317:
1. Marla (owner/trainer) & Kailey (trainer)- just GOOD energy/human beings all around!
2. The music!!! I love that I don't have to wear headphones throughout my workout.
3. Four-week programming cycles- I appreciate being able to see my progress over the four weeks and having the ability to track it all in an app (TrainHeroic). I feel like this structure incentivizes working out for me- seeing the growth over the last six months; not just physically, but in numbers.
4. ALLLLLL the extra touches/amenities! There's a beverage box with water, coffee, tea, sports drinks and snacks, a tanning bed, a sauna, restrooms with two showers, and TWO shipping containers that have been converted into the most adorable Airbnb's!

Lastly, do not let the word "Glutes" or seeing peaches all over the place scare you away. These are fully-body workouts with an extra dash of glute-work sprinkled in!

This gym is amazing and exactly what I was looking for. The workouts are full body with weight lifting so not endless cardio. You don't have to share equipment because each person gets their own storage container workout gym. (The facilities are so cool and worth seeing in-person.)If you are a member you get access to an app where you can track your progression.
Other benefits: first workout is free plus there are additional discounted class options so you can really try out the gym before committing.
Not at all exclusive to women but definitely a safe empowering space to workout as a woman. I love it!

I’ve been visiting Glutes317 since opening day a year ago and it is the BEST gym! I never get bored with the workouts because there’s new programming every 4 weeks. The amenities for members are amazing (helloooo beverage box and sauna)! I love our member community (the squad). People of all fitness levels are involved here. Marla the instructor was phenomenal and music selection was perfect. Seriously the cutest gym ever and with so many amenities. The other ladies in the 7am class were also super welcoming. They offer 3 level ma of workouts. Definitely check out the website or download the app.

I set up a personal training session with Marla as I live about an hour from the location and I was looking for a trainer who specialized in glute training that could assess my form and technique. I found Glutes 317 through a Facebook ad and reached out regarding what I was looking for. Marla reached out to me in a timely manner and worked with me to get an appointment set up through her app. Prior to our session, I sent Marla a list of items I wanted to work on and she responded with some things to work on prior to us meeting. At our session, we went through everything I had asked, and I got out of it exactly what I was hoping for. While I have only been there once, I plan to go back periodically throughout the year and do "check ins" with Marla. The "boxes" are filled with everything you need, and in the winter have small heaters and are closed in to make it really warm (it was 25 degrees when I went and I was dripping sweat in the box).The amenities she has to offer to her clients are excellent, including showers, a coffee lounge, and so much more. Her space makes me wish I lived much closer!!

This place is awesome and I had a great workout. Marla explained each piece of equipment and the workout forms very well.
