I signed up for the 6 week experience with the promise of an awesome workout experience and nutrition counseling. In my consultation, I expressed my need for nutrition counseling as a high priority in my goals.
I was only able to attend classes for about 50% of my 6 weeks due to a newly diagnosed neurological condition where increased heart rate put me in bed for a day to recover.
The classes were fun, engaging and highly energetic! I absolutely loved my classes and felt myself building muscle and endurance. The other members are encouraging and friendly and make you feel welcomed and included.
As for the nutrition counseling, I’m sad to say I was never given this benefit, despite a reminder to the admins 2 weeks into my membership.

I was one of the first 50 people to start with Hitsona when it opened up it's doors last June. I can solidly say that it was one of the best decisions I have made. I have gained strength and energy, and lost a decent amount of weight. What is quite amazing is that the 25 minute workout really works a vast amount of various muscles. You are constantly moving for the cardiovascular portion, and working off the machine for the specific muscle concentration. The other wonderfully aspect about this place is the community of fellow Hitsona members. Everyone is so encouraging, positive, and friendly to one another. In other past gym settings, this was not the case. Also our Hitsona owners are very committed to our health goals, and make themselves fully available to helping us achieving any milestone or goal we wish to obtain. I highly recommend Hitsona to anyone that is looking to get back in better shape and do it with a strong community who wants to also see you succeed.

I signed up for a 6 week session at Hitsona, just to try it out. Honestly, I was skeptical. I had never seen anything like it. No heavy weights, no big sweaty gym rats, no grunting, no dropping weights. There were people like me there. People over 40 of all shapes and sizes, so I felt very comfortable. It is a high intensity, low impact workout that is done in 25 minutes! 25 minutes! I didn’t believe this could possibly be a good workout until,I did my first class. It is absolutely a good workout! Everyone works at their own pace, or intensity. You make the workouts your own. You will receive personal coaching with Aaron and Amanda because class sizes are small. I 100% recommend Hitsona! I started training with HITsona and it completely exceeded my expectations. From start to finish, the session was challenging, motivating, and energizing.

The instructor was fantastic—clear with instructions, encouraging, and always checking form to make sure we pushed ourselves safely. I have been a member at almost every gym in Fort Wayne. I never felt welcomed and would slowly loss motivation after a few months. One of my co-workers was a member of Hitsona and she had nothing but great things to say. My doctor said, I needed to do something for me. So, I decided it was time to make that phone call to Hitsona. After sitting down and talking with Aaron, I joined. I have been a member for 8 weeks. I love that I can have a great workout in just 25 minutes. Aaron and Amanda are great coaches and always make you feel welcomed. Hitsona is a place where you can go, and you will feel like you fit. The program is under 30 minutes, run by people who know your name and actually take the time to make sure you are reaching your goals. Even on those days where motivation is lacking, you go anyway, because you might be missed and once your there, you get the job done! After MANY medical issues this year I knew I needed to get stronger- but was afraid- they made it all work for me! I now try to work my week around the gym, instead of "maybe" going if I have time!

I am so glad that Hitsona decided to expand to Fort Wayne. I really enjoy doing the many varieties of workouts that the trainers have us do. I really enjoy this exercise program. Having to sign up for sessions forces me to go. I always procrastinated when I tried the traditional gym programs. I like that each exercise program is developed by someone before I get there since I really didn’t know how to properly exercise. I show up, get a great overall body workout and get it done in a specific time period. It’s been a great experience and really seeing the results.

Hitsona is the perfect amount of exercise for my needs. Gets my heart rate up, gets me sweating, but it’s not so hard I dread going like other work out places I have belonged too. I joined Hitsona 3 weeks ago
because I was so impressed with the machines and the overall work out. As I got more into the workouts and meeting new people, I quickly learned that the community that has formed within Hitsona is amazing. It’s always a small group of no more than 10 people, and that also impressed me as a reason for joining the group. I walk away after a workout and feel so good. Only one month in and I am amazed. I started in June being walker dependent for more than 10 years. I was unable to stand and bear my own weight for less than a minute, totally afraid to take a step without supporting myself on a rolling walker. With use of the Hitsona machines and great coaching and support from fellow clients I am already able to stand to do some of the machine exercises and actually strong enough to walk several steps without a walker. I have transitioned from a regular rolling walker to a standing walker. I have lost weight and inches besides my personal number one goal of getting stronger. It has happened faster than I could have imagined and I only attend two classes a week. It is a supportive and friendly environment, no judgement like I would receive at a usual type gym. Hitsona may well be saving my life and definitely it is making me strong enough to stay out of a wheelchair and live independently for the future. THANK YOU HITSONA.
