Do not join this studio!!! Their communication is absolutely horrific. I tried cancelling, I submitted the cancellation form in person and over email, it’s been over two weeks with no communication. I would’ve paid the cancellation fee to just be done with them but they charged the full amount to my card. Rachel is the owner and seems to be the only person who handles any communication, and any time that I’ve reached out it has taken a week to two weeks for any response. I mean even to join it took that long. You can’t cancel or even add yourself into a class if it’s within a strict 24 hour window. I didn’t have a problem with the other instructors, they were nice, but the beginner/intermediate classes are not challenging. Don’t get involved with this company, I wish I had never joined because now I’m in a mess of making sure they don’t continue charging me and get refunded this last payment.

Between August 31 and September 11, I tried to sign up for yoga classes at Indy House of Pilates, but the process ended up being slower than expected. I asked to set everything up over text since that worked better for me, and they agreed to try to handle it that way. Over the next several days, we went back and forth as I gave my availability, asked about joining group yoga instead of private lessons, and confirmed interest in the 4x a month option. However, I was left without replies multiple times and didn’t receive clear explanations on how to complete sign-up. In the end, I chose not to move forward because of the delays and lack of clarity. While the staff were polite, the process wasn’t efficient, so I’m leaving a 3 out of 5 star review.

I value the variety of classes and instructors. It is especially helpful to do private lessons to learn how your body moves—what side is dominant or little “issues” that prohibit you from getting the most out of the workout. Private lessons also give you the opportunity to try more complex moves that can’t be covered in a group class.

I have put tbis off for 1 1/2 years but you keep asking me to repond.
So, here goes! Consistently reduced the number of classes AFTER I signed a contract. If you ever made a "suggestion", you paid dearly for it. Owner constantly said "is this hard enough now" instead of showing different levels for all to enjoy so K left.the studio. Owner asked people to leave if they disagreed with her. Teachers are always leaving.

Great place. They have helped me on individual basis with balance and core strength. If you have had a past injury and worried about working out in some fashion. Give them a call and see if they can help.

I love this studio!! Started with yoga classes and then added some mat Pilates classes which morphed into Pilates equipment classes which has been a really positive body movement experience. Thinking I was too "mature" for the more aerobic type classes, I gave them a try and am hooked. So much support here as well as a sense of community. Again, I love this studio!!

This studio is a great place to work as well as take classes from the other staff. Warm caring staff, Rachel Williams has invested in education and is extremely knowledgeable in Joseph Pilates method. Her ability to communicate and share this with clients is awesome. All services are excellent.

I have been going to IHP for almost 5 year I think. I took a year off during pandemic only. IHP has classes for all. I love their reformer classes and non equipment classes as well. The place is clean and inviting and teachers are friendly and amazing. They are knowledgeable and caring to teach us exercise but also to teach us how to be aware of our body can and cannot do and should and should not do. I love their attention to individual need.

I've been attending classes 5-7 days a week at IHP for over a year now after regularly attending a downtown Indy studio for 10+ years. The instructors at IHP really make an effort in getting to know you & what goals you have for your body. Recently Jessie & Rachel helped me safely ease back into my routine after a breast reconstruction surgery with private sessions. I love the focus on proper technique over number of reps and how it's made me more aware of my body. The overall vibe of the studio, instructors, & other clients is so supportive & lighthearted while still maintaining a serious focus on your fitness and health. And the variety of classes & workshops offered lets me keep adding new challenges to my exercise routine. I love my IHP family!

Love IHP! Been a client now over 3+ years & still enjoy the causal (non-judging) atmosphere & camaraderie with other clients!! The Owner Rachel is always infusing new & creative classes to experience a variety of exercise types to find what “fits” you. She not only seeks to help balance physical, but also mental & spiritual wellness into one… and does so with laughter & jokes! The facility is perfect, clean & has become my own selfish escape for fitness using the latest dance music, singing bowls, oils, crystals & bio-mats. There’s something for EVERYONE at IHP!!

Love Indy House of Pilates! I’ve been going for almost 10 years. They offer several different types of classes with flexible scheduling. The instructors give options so beginners can go at their own pace while more advanced can push themselves. Highly recommend!!

I absolutely LOVE Indy House of Pilates 💞 All of the instructors are incredible but my very favorite I would have to say is the owner, Rachel! I have experienced several major losses in my life over the past three years and attending Rachel’s yoga, biomat, and Zumba’s classes have been better than therapy to me! This studio is a place for healing, rejuvenation, and absolutely no judgement! The trainers meet you where you are and help to build up your self confidence! I want to thank Rachel and her Team for providing a studio where everyone feels welcome! The pictures below are from one of my favorite biomat classes ❤️

I have been coming to Indy house of Pilates since 2008. After I left a back surgeon that was suggesting surgery as my only option, I saw a yard sign for a 30 day trial. No surgery for me! Strong core that supports my spine. I take classes 4 times a week and can tell when I have to miss! Never have regretted 1 minute of my time spent. Recently I have been doing regular massages on upper back and have corrected a shoulder issue caused from the lack of discs in my neck. No cortisone shot as a result. Thanks to all the instructors for all your help!

I have attending Indy House of Pilates for many years. I have taken pilates equipment classes, cardio classes, Zumba, TRX, and more over the years. The instructors are extremely knowledgeable and always willing to adapt a move if needed.
Rachel has provided me with Pilates classes, massage, and ANF therapy for particular ailments that I have. I had been looking for a Pilates studio for quite some time and I’m so glad I stumbled upon Indy House of Pilates! IHP has helped me in so many ways from learning about proper body form, movements to functional living and beyond. Rachel is amazing…her knowledge about the body truly has no end! Any time I have questions or problems with my knees she’s always been super helpful! Many services are offered here from classes, massage and ANF therapy which has helped my husband and I MANY times!!! I recently started taking private sessions with Jessie to help with my knee issues and she has been able to help me realize how simple things I’m doing have an impact on my knees and pain tolerance. It’s wild!! I am stronger than I’ve ever been and my passion for Pilates and general health are still growing but in the best way possible!

IHP, I started approximately 1 year ago bad hip bad shoulders. Started very slow intros the group classes and with each class each day things started improving. It blows my mind the tiniest moves make such a difference in gaining strength and you would think man that wasn't much but the instructor's are adamant about proper form BECAUSE IT MAKES A HUGE DIFFERENCE and has in my recovery of my health issues. Their skill set and knowledge is amazing. Thank IHP for A) giving me my mobility back B) being such an amazing, fun, clean, no judgment zone, encouraging studio and a studio that offers so many different classes that are amazing , hard and will kick your butt you guy's rock. ONE SATISFIED CUSTOMER.

I love that all the instructors at IHP spend quality time with each client and make sure they are happy and comfortable with their workout plan. They do monthly incentives to keep you motivated! The classes meet my needs and have a variety of levels of class from beginners to advanced! Special shout out to sending out weekly messages and reminders for upcoming events. If you want to have daily fun, this is the place for you! Be prepared to work hard and have a great attitude and you will make new friends that become family!!

Horrible experience; rigid attendance policy and military-style instructor. I should have taken an intro class before signing a contract for a package of classes. Had I done so, I would have discovered this place was not for me. Rachel, the owner/instructor, has an army drill sergeant teaching style. If you buy a package of classes, you must attend at least weekly otherwise you lose them. I attended unchallenging reformer classes weekly for four months, wasting my time and money. I couldn't wait until my financial commitment was over so I could leave this place.
