I always enjoy coming to this location it’s consistently clean, welcoming, and well taken care of. Ruth, on the operations team, does an amazing job keeping the locker rooms spotless and stocked. You can tell she takes pride in her work, and it really makes a difference in the overall experience.

Matthew at the front desk is another standout. He’s always reliable when opening the center, greets everyone with a smile, and is super helpful whenever you have a question about the facility. His friendly energy sets such a positive tone for the day.

Both Ruth and Matthew help make this location such a great place to visit. Their hard work and kindness don’t go unnoticed thank you both for all that you do!

FIRST, I want to say I loved this gym for many years, and they made canceling VERY easy, which is great.

BUT things have changed recently. There's a balance to keeping a clean gym. Apparently, it was a dirtier gym in some areas, so new management came in, and the cleaning crew are there more hours of the day than not. The guy mopping the floor uses a highly toxic level of bleach throughout the gym. It was making me sick. I'd either have to go to another part of the gym and alter my workout or just go home.

I let this go on for months before finally calling the manager. I was very polite and told her how much I liked it there, but that the situation was getting too hard to work with. She told me I could come in between 12-4p when the cleaning crew isn't there. She also had some weird response to my complaint about the corporate decision to replace paper towels and sanitizer with these new wet wipes that leave the machines wet, causing no one to wipe down the machines. You just have to wait for them to dry - very ennefective.

This is the most absurd reply I've ever had from a manager, and not appropriate. There was no, "I'm sorry to hear that, we'll look into the potency he's using." It was just, "work around our schedule."

Of course, cleaning crews shouldn't even be there during operating hours - too much potential for this kind of stuff. Lots of gyms bring in crews after hours to keep a gym running well and members from being pushed aside for the needs of the cleaning crew.

You may like it here until something goes wrong. Then, be prepared to go elsewhere.

I've been at this gym for a long time and really liked it, but some things aren't going well anymore. The whole company has gotten rid of papertowles and sanitizer spray in favor of these branded wet wipes that leave machines wet, nothing to dry them with. So no one wipes machines down anymore. I've complained, but no one cares.

Also, later in the day, staff mops the floor with some HEAVY toxic smelling bleach, leaving some areas of the gym unusable for a while. I've gotten headaches and a sick feeling a few times from this, and I just have to leave and come back another day to finish. This is a TERRIBLE way to do things. Your customers are first, not last.

If you are thinking about going to this gym please don’t, I have been a member here for over a year now and I wanted to show my friend the gym and they told him it would be a 20 dollar fee for a 45 minutes pass. He came in to get the free three day pass at the registration desk and the Asian girl working there was very snobby and rude and said LA fitness has never done that and told him to leave if he will not pay the 20$. When I'm on military leave and im back home visiting family its always difficult finding a gym that'll working with my shirt time frame. If I could give this gym negative stars, I would. I went in to attempt to work out with a free three day guest pass. I spoke to Christianna, and she would not give me a free pass to workout, she said they only give free passes to people who are going to get a membership. This is false advertisement. Since the new manager started working there, working out has been a breeze! Gym is cleaner, there’s no ruckus from the basketball court because there are rules that prevent kids from just bouncing balls outside of the court, and they’re honest about the lost & found which is a huge plus because most gyms would lie and say they didn’t have your lost headphones but not here. 4/4/24 Quick update
For the second time to happen to me, the cable machine has broken again
And for the 10th time the same machine is broken in few months.

It used be very good 2 years ago, but because of lack of maintenance and the continued "out of order machines, the gym became an exhibition for the paper signs of "out of order, replacing soon"
Today 8/5/23 the cable 8n one of the cable cross machines got broken 8n my hand and the grip hit my shin so badly. Again that was because of a lack of preventive maintenance!!!
The renovation that was made less than a year ago turned out to be cosmetic, not real renovation anyway.

This is the best LA Fitness in the area.
They have more dumbbells than Westfield, Fishers and Zionsville. They have 1/2 weight dumbbells - 20lbs, 22.5lbs, 25lbs, 27.5lbs, ...

Excellent group instructors and a great number of benches and other equipment. I use all of the local LA Fitness gyms and this is my favorite.

Plus. They have very hot water for showers. Westfield has hot water. Zionsvilles hot water is lukewarm at best - miserable.

I can only do 2 stars. Multiple machines have been broken for months, some are completely not working and others have issues with the TV, on/off buttons or shake pretty bad when you are on them. The workout areas are also dusty and the free weight area has a weird smell to it. The dang fire alarm has been beeping every few seconds in the entire building for the past 3 days. Staff does not seem to care about repairs, yet every April they charge us and extra $50 for machine maintenance. This place has gone downhill badly after covid.

The next day they are closed indefinitely because some people were hanging on the rim (punishing the entire membership for the actions of a few is juvenile). This Noblesville location is by far the best LA Fitness I have been to in the area. While it is one of the newer locations and smaller, it is well maintained and clean, and they do a good job of keeping the equipment updated.

For the most part, members do a good job overall of putting the free weights back after using them, which I appreciate! There is nothing more annoying than when members leave their weights on a machine.

This location is overall quieter and not as noisy or busy, which means less wait times for a specific piece of equipment. I don’t mind making a special trip over from Carmel to go to this gym. Well worth it!

Secondly, I have noticed that employees at the front desk have not always been properly checking members into the gym. This has caused confusion and has led to some non-members gaining access to the gym. I would appreciate it if you could remind the front desk staff of the importance of following proper check-in procedures for the safety and security of all members.

Furthermore, I have experienced difficulty in getting accurate information about the gym's hours from the front desk staff on multiple occasions. The unhelpfulness of some front desk members has made it challenging to plan my workouts effectively. It would be helpful if the front desk staff could be trained to provide accurate and helpful information to members regarding the gym's hours of operation.

Lastly, I have observed that the men's bathroom and sauna are not always as clean as they could be. This is not only unpleasant for gym-goers, but it could also pose a health risk. I would appreciate it if the cleaning staff could be reminded to pay extra attention to these areas to ensure that they are properly sanitized and maintained.

I left because this facility is filthy in the ladies dressing room area. Toilets are always dirty and they don't regularly clean out feminine disposals causing bad odors. The floors are not mopped well at all and have a gross film all over them in the dressing area and the pool area. Management did not respond to requests to please clean up better in there. Update: They decided to keep Kids Club open but they did a poor job at notifying the people that came their regularly about the change. If you can bill us for it you should be able to tell us if your keeping it open.

Don't get a membership at LA fitness they don't follow through with their contracts. They have closed several of there surrounding kids clubs and are making parents chose from only three locations in the Indianapolis area to be able to go too. I just signed up at the beginning of the year and I told them the main reason was so I could workout and have my kid here to be watched since she is not in school yet. They failed me and I am upset about it. Also I find out on a Saturday and I can't even call into Corp because they have low staff and aren't open until Monday. How can I trust any place if this is how company are treating it's customers. I need better answer then it's because it wasn't affordable for them. Then do better and budget what would make it afford. Instead of not following through with your contract!

I have worked out at LAF facilities for nearly 10 years now, but have not felt compelled to write a specific review until some recent positive observations I made yesterday (1/1/22) at this location. Both occured sometime around 12pm.

First was when the front desk staffer, Drew, requested that I check in again after stepping out to get something from my car. He was taking care of another member when I checked in and when I stepped out. He politely asked me check in even though I told him I had already checked it and had only momentarily stepped out. Some might find this annoying. Far from the it. Drew demonstrated personal ownership of his job and respect to his employer by ensuring members checked in as they enter. I hope leadership reads this and rewards him for his actions.

Second I observed, in the same afternoon, one of the janitorial staff (I did not get his name, but he was tall with a buzzed hair cut and had tattoos on his arms) politely reprimand two younger members for some obnoxious behavior that had caused complaints from other members. The employee did so with great professionalism that was both empathetic to the young mens' desire for fun and serious about the need to be courteous of others at the gym. If this employee can be identified by leadership based on my meager description, I hope he will be rewarded as well.

I teach leadership principles at my work and this is the kind of personal ownership I want to see out of my team. Well done LA Fitness!

Paula always greets my significant other and I when arriving which has been pleasant and made us feel welcome after moving here. There is a good gym culture here, which after regularly exercising for a decade, I really appreciate. Overall my gym experience has been great at this particular LA fitness.

I was told when i signed up for training that it was a six month contract and it wouldn’t renew. Okay that’s great, I’m moving at the end of the six months anyway. I cancel my membership and lo and behold I’m charged for the next month for training. I go in and they say there’s nothing they can do. At this point I want my money back since I made a two hour drive just to talk to them, they said no and said the person who signed me up doesn’t work there anymore because they did unethical things like lie about training contracts. So you know they lied, you have proof, past examples, and you won’t refund my money? I will never go to this gym or any LA Fitness ever again.

Used to be good now just lazy employees in the morning and apparently a manager that doesn't care about the customers input. I go early about 5ish a.m. and the employees just have the scanners setting on the counter. If it doesn't scan you have to grab it because they are too busy on their phone or doing something else while sitting right in front of you. Is it too much to ask for the employee to take 10secs to help the customer? I have complained 4-5 times about this and they even said the district manager was contacted. Things got better for maybe 3days now back to the employee sitting there not trying to help you. You would think too once they notice you reaching for the scanner they would at minimum help you then. Seems like a manager needs to get in there early at 5a.m. sometimes too without notice to do check ups since it seems like no one takes complaints serious.

Loved this LA Fitness location. Stopped in on my way from Indy to Fort Wayne. Facility was clean, had plenty of equipment and the staff was super helpful. Shout out to Chris (Account Manager?) for the assist today. I would highly recommend this gym.

The temperature is way to warm for a gym atmosphere. Out of the dozen gym memberships I've had, this is the hottest. The hours also leave much to be desired, especially the weekend. And there is never a real notice about holiday hours or closures. I cant count the number of times I went to workout and saw a sign on the door that wasnt there 2 days ago saying they're closed or closing early.

I was traveling to visit my in-laws over the weekend and had an opportunity to work out at this gym. I enjoyed every moment. The staff were super engaging and friendly, the facilities were perfect (they have a basketball court!!), and have an ample amount of weights as well. I'll definitely be back. Thanks LA Fitness for a great workout!

I am currently a member of this gym but I don't really know why. I suppose it mostly has to do with convience, as I live only 5 mins away. My biggest issue with this gym is how disgustingly dirty it always is. The treadmills are caked with dirt. The basketball court has literal dust bunnies covering the floor. The bathrooms are always disgusting. The drains by the pools are dirty and have hair all over the place. I was a member of Planet Fitness prior to moving to LA, and it is night and day. For as much money as LA charges they should many more staff working. A few less trainers and a few more cleaning staff would be a great idea. Upper management should be ashamed of this place looks. Not sure how much longer I'll be sticking around. My hope is Planet Fitness comes up to Noblesville before much too longer.

Edit: I left soon after posting this. Looking to join somewhere not as gross.
