2024 was the year I truly showed up for myself. Iβve learned to crave the discomfort, celebrate the progress, and show up for me. Stepping into Orange Theory was stepping out of my comfort zone, but it quickly became the place where I found my strength, my progress, and my community. From countless 5 a.m. classes to embracing the challenge, I thought this was a fitness journey, but turns out I have found myself. Hereβs to continuing to grow and thrive in 2025! If you are ever thinking about taking an OTF class, I would tell you to do it.

They canceled my first complimentary class scheduled to start at 7:00pm because I arrived at 6:40pm and wasn't checked in at 6:30pm to meet one-on-one with the person that would be doing the class. I literally drove 20 minutes and arrived 20 minutes before the time I scheduled the class for. Yet, the girl said I would have to reschedule because 20 minutes isn't enough time to do the pre-class introduction or something. I said "nevermind" and walked out. If I had spent money on the class, I would request a refund. I didn't want to do this in the first place. I tried to cancel twice before this only to be told I had to call and talk to somebody to reschedule twice. I got a free class coupon, accepted it, and then changed my mind. I still want tangible compensation for the gas and personal energy I wasted. Never trying one of their supposedly inviting classes ever again. The girl wasn't even considerate enough to ask if whoever could complete whatever with me prior to 7pm. And if it's an entire class of people then how is 10 minutes going to make a difference with one-on-one time? Could I not be last for whatever conversation needed to be had before 7pm. They act like it's a military mission when even entering the building is optional. Extremely off-putting. I wonder if I should have chosen the crown point location which was closer to my house despite where the app automatically scheduled me the first time based on my zip code. This threw off my whole schedule for dinner. They are so stuck up and uncaring, I'm not interested in any location at this point. I knew from the first time I heard about the company that it likely wasn't for me. I was right. I better get free merch for this inconvenience and disregard for a potential customer. It doesn't take 30 minutes or even 20 minutes to sign a waiver that I could have signed online in the first place. The entire 30 second encounter with this girl was such an irritating experience. The whole company can miss me as a customer, member, or whatever. Lesson learned. For those interested in workouts go to X-Sport instead. 0 stars if 0 was an option.

I would see OTF for years and thought it wasnβt for me. I decided at the end of February to βjust do itβ and I have zero regrets. The coaches are friendly and it truly is a no judgement zone. Initially, I hated going because I used to feel so embarrassed that I would cry in my car afterwards. But now, I feel myself improving and I look forward to working out! For years, I have heard people raving about these classes, but I never felt like I was at a point in my fitness journey to where I could handle it. I finally went to a class with one of my friends, (between the two of us, she had just had a baby and gotten cleared to work out again, and I have not worked out in several years) and we both loved it and signed up.
Orangetheory accommodates clientele of all different levels of physical endurance and ability. There is a very positive energy in the room during the workout, and you feel a sense of camaraderie although each person is focused on their own workout.
Whenever I leave, I feel thoroughly challenged and then I made the best use of my time. Each class is CHALLENGING, to say the least, but itβs worth it at the end. You go at your own pace and adjust each task to your ability and never once will feel put on the spot like anyone else is paying attention to that. The coaches will assist with a workout modification if needed due to injury or ability.
If you have been waiting to try it due to fear or feeling self-conscious, take it from me and GO FOR IT! Even if itβs the only workout you do during the week I truly think youβll still feel the positive effects physically and mentally.

My wife and I have been attending Orange Theory in Dyer for 7 years. Having three children, we are a busy family with school, work, church, and athletic activities.
Orange Theory motivates us to work out, helps us understand the need to exercise, and enables us to plan workout schedules in advanced with the mobile app.
Because of our calendar, we mainly schedule the OT workout during the morning classes. This makes exercise a priority and does not allow us to skip unless we really have to. We sometimes canβt make the early workout at Orange Theory - the growing number of classes added allows us to reschedule for mid-day and evening. Additionally, when we are out of town for an athletic event or work outing, our OT membership allows us to visit other city locations.
The coaches at OTF Dyer are second to none. The amount of care and passion each brings to every class is amazing and unparalleled.
Because of the overall class structure and motivated coaches, Orange Theory workouts have become a source of inspiration and fun for us both.

They push you to do your absolute best, but they hold no judgment if you have to take it easy. I like the energy and group camaraderie but also that your competing with yourself and no one else. I felt very inspired and motivated by coaches. The welcoming was inviting and I felt comfortable from the get. The workout was intense, in a βhurts so goodβ kind of way. I was working out regularly, but the whole body soreness I am feeling two days later post OTF workout is telling me that there are areas of my body that werenβt getting engaged by my workouts. I love that every class is different, not the same, which is what my gym routine was looking like. 10/10 would recommend to someone.

In my year-plus as a member, I have had 4 steady coaches. They are all individual and very skilled coaches. I could never have progressed without their help. I plateaued after about 6 months, thinking I had reached "it".
Then the 1-mile benchmark happened and I did both better than I thought and not as good as I could. I started listening to my coaches and heard their exhortations to do better and encouragement when I did do better. These words along with explanations and reasons for why to push harder have brought me to new plateaus and new goals.
This 67-year-old cannot remember being this strong, maybe ever, certainly for 30 years. And even though each new push brings new pain, I revel in my accomplishments. And for this, I thank my COACHES. I would not/could not be as strong/healthy/happy without you. Thank you.

Im a huge fan of OTF, the staff is amazing, the atmosphere is perfect, they have motivational phrases on the wall. You get high fives from staff and other members, it's a very positive atmosphere. I love the structure of the workout, treadmill, weights and rower. I feel like all the main parts are hit during my workout. I also love that they have many challenges, So it makes it fun as well. Heart rate monitors to allow you to work out based on your zones and helps you better understand the way you work out. There's nothing to lose just try it out!!

I agreed to try the free first class so I could see what my friend had been doing to lose so much weight. I promised myself that I wouldn't buy a package, because I was already a member of another gym where I had a 2 year contract. Instead, I loved the first class so much that I signed up within a matter of days!
The atmosphere is very neat and clean, the lighting is lower than most gyms (which I like because I always feel gross when I work out)...there is enough structure to guide you through each workout yet you can go at your own pace so it literally can work for anyone (big or small, young or old).
Everyone I have met there is SO nice, and the workouts kick your butt! On top of that, it's really fun to watch your heartrate throughout the workout and to see yourself gaining points. Matching your physical success to your mental success was pretty powerful for me because there were times in the past I really thought I was 'giving it my all' and I have come to find out that I was holding back.
I would recommend OrangeTheory to anyone interested in trying it...what do you have to lose when the first class is free?

I like having a coach to encourage me during the workout. When I work out on my own, I am far less likely to push myself as hard as I do when I'm at OrangeTheory. I also am typically not a fan of group workouts, but OrangeTheory classes allow me to remain motivated by others in the class while still working at my own pace.

I'm only 2 classes in, but already a big fan. The two biggest pluses for me, over a normal gym, is that the group has a trainer and the workouts change all the time. I find most workout routines end for me when the repitition of the sets gets too mind numbing.

The environment was great, the workout was challenging, the trainer was encouraging and the staff was so helpful. Plus, I love a challenge so the aspect of the splat points is awesome! It is a you vs you workout which I love plus it's mixed in with some friendly competition amongst friends & classmates!! Makes us push harder together! Trainers are very knowledgeable and great motivators. I love that the workouts always have variation to them. You feel very welcome as soon as you walk through the door with staff members greeting you and making small talk. I definitely recommend OTF in Dyer!
