I travel almost an hour to come to this gym, because it is my favorite 😍 We have gyms that are much closer to where I live but they aren't anywhere close to as good as Planet Fitness!! The gym alone is wonderful and to add to the greatness, they offer free hydro massage and tanning!!! It's just such a wonderful place in my opinion, TOP NOTCH!!

The gym itself is great, a few of the staff is what makes it not as good as some of the others. Jordan is rude and don’t know his job or the rules! Our 2nd visit I had someone with me that wanted to sign up and the guy kept his back to us even after making eye contact then when he did finally speak to us it was obvious he didn’t want to take the time to sign someone up and said it’s much easier to do it at home yourself!

Today I came in to get a membership, saw on tv that it's $15.00 a month.
I could have the $15/month PLUS a $44+ SIGN-UP fee!! THEN in 2 months, the yearly fee!
OR...
$25/month and a $1.00 SIGN-UP fee, then the yearly fee.
So now, when people can't pay the $25 month, you punish them with a huge sign-up fee?

I was in town visiting and stopped by this location because it was nearest to me at the time. Not a fan of the "wood" lockers (we have metal at my local PF) and a lot of the equipment isn't new/updated digital which I'm used to. It was a clean facility with plenty of equipment available even with other members present. Layout was a little strange but still able to navigate. Overall I give it a pass but definitely needs some little improvements.

Do NOT recommend. They will force you to have automatic withdrawal ETF transfers just to have a membership. Other locations outside of Evansville provide membership with a credit card. I have a checking account just for Planet Fitness and spent over $100 in bank fees for a membership I only use when I travel out of town. Then PF wants to charge $10 late fee on top of the banks $40 a day fee. ITS SO NOT WORTH IT❗️❗️❗️ Choose any other gym.

Staff friendly and they keep it clean. Reason for 3 stars is poorly designed havc system. It gets too warm on hot days.
Update staff plays music too loud forcing members to have to increase the volume of what they are listening to.
The vast majority of members wear in or over ear headphones. Plus bet the majority do not care for the music played by staff.

Great gym for beginners and I love that’s it’s inexpensive, but it’s so hot. People workout here so obviously you get hot and sweat from that so you’d think that the gym would provide good, cool air movement. But their ceiling fans don’t provide much of that. The planet fitness in henderson has giant fans that provide a breeze throughout the facility and it’s so much nicer than this one where Im way too hot and drenched in sweat.

There are really great points of coming here. But some of their employees are SO LAZY that I wouldn’t join if I hadn’t already. Tonight, 3-18-22 a line waited for 15 minutes while the employee stood to the side and talked to his friend. I finally asked if someone else worked here. He said yeah, she should be around. I said maybe HE could help us. He said he was on break. Unbelievable. Everyone just kinda looked at each other. I’m thinking about canceling the more I think of it

I don’t want to go into details because this place is not a bad place at all. It was just a wrong night and misunderstanding when speaking with the employees. I was stressed out after work all day and the manager Chris was amazing when helping me at making sure that my questions and issues were and answered and taking care of. I really want to make sure that Chris knows his management skills are great and I do appreciate everything he did to make the situation right. Thank you again Chris for turning a bad experience into a good one!! That is what customer service is all about.
