I love that they have a personal trainer on site. I've been working with Landon 3 weeks now. He has helped with making sure I have the correct form and I get the extra push I need. I'm starting to see definition in my shoulders and also getting my range of motion back in them as well. The other staff members are amazing as well.

Planet Fitness is pretty much the perfect gym. Their machines are top notch, there's an insane variety of machines, and they even have a circuit of several different machines that acts as a total body workout. Their tanning beds are quite literally the best beds I've ever used. They have infrared light therapy, massage chairs and a water pressure massage bed you lay down on. The bathrooms are always clean and you can really feel the 'judgement-free' atmosphere.

I am so glad we have one of these in Lafayette. Getting the Black Card (under 30 bucks a month) you get your money's worth just in the tanning beds alone. Their least powerful bed would cost me 12 bucks a session at Levee Laundry and Tan, so it's definitely worth the money. You can even bring a guest with you! Simply put, this gym has it all, and is perfect for newbies and seasoned gym dwellers alike. 5 stars. Thanks Planet Fitness for all that you offer!

Looks kinda dark. Looks kinda old. The dim lighting does help when you are doing abs exercise while you looking up to the ceiling. You have people from all age group here so it is a welcoming environment. First gym I ever been to that has TV near the dumbbell racks. Help me burn some time between sets instead of starring at people. This location needs to renovate.

Before today PF was a solid enough gym with solid machines and questionable rules(arguably). Well they finally got all their new PLATE LOADED machines. New hack squat, flat chest press, and seated calf raise. Not to mention a new cable machine and cardio equipment that was much needed. All for under 15$ a month. Well done Planet Fitness 👏

This gym is not clean. It stinks as soon as you walk in and you can see that there is dust caked onto the equipment. It’s disgusting.
Edit: I tried to get information to reach out to management and they wouldn’t give me any info. They took my info but I was not contacted. Facility has been in that nasty condition for months now. Someone’s gonna catch a fungal infection from that place, disgusting.

I have been a member for years. When covid hit. This place over charged people at the same time having there gym closed. They tried to bill me so for 2 years I stopped going. I opened a new account in May. There third party billing was trying to hit my old card and not the card the made the account. When I went in they told me I couldn't use there services. But they was still going to bill me for it. And they told me it's not there fault. They use a third party billing that it's there fault but I'm still stuck paying for a service I wasn't allowed to use. I'm a single disabled father that does not have the money to be taken advantage of by big corporations

So to start off, I only have been to the one Planet Fitness located in Lafayette Indiana. I finally got back in the gym after years of well... Laziness! I checked prices at the local YMCA and it was almost 5 times the cost of the basic membership, and I did not feel ready for some of the other local gyms. This location is great for me, it has decent equipment that allows me to do full body workouts. I do a five day split on muscle groups and I do feel like I get a great workout. The few downsides are that they do not have some of the equipment I like. Preacher curl station, free weight bench, some heavier dumbbells, and the leg press only has one bar installed even though it could take two. The other part of the leg press is that they don't seem to have enough plates to go around the gym very well, so if you lift heavy, you are robbing from just about every smith machine. I go early in the morning, so it is not a huge issue, however I do think they should add more. The other issues are there is no scale anywhere that I know of to weigh myself, I really think they need the In Body systems, and lastly, the locker room needs more than two benches, it has room, just not much space to get ready. I also want to give a shout out to Dillon, since he started several months ago, many of us have noticed a clear difference in how clean the locker room and restroom areas are, he is definitely the main contributing factor there. All in all 4/5 stars.

Filthy place. Showers are 2.5 ft by 2.5ft. The shower head may as well not exist and there is nowhere to set your clothes or soap while showering. Most the hooks for the bathroom and shower area have been broken or ripped out of the walls. If you want a clean place to exercise and shower go to the ymca because they are night and day difference. Also they talk about how everyone belongs but the showers in the locker rooms are not handicap assesable.

I travel for work and have used several different Planet Fitness locations. This is a nice big clean space....couple huge negatives though, the LACK of mirrors. 1st place I've been to that has NO mirrors in front of smith machines. Huge plus to have mirrors so you can check form while lifting. Esp when a gym like this is focussed on people at every stage of working out. Also, the smith machines have alot of drag on them when you use the bar. Wondering if they are maintained regularly so there is a smooth glide to them?

I had my planet fitness home club in Ohio and needed to cancel my membership now that I’m back at Purdue. Mia gave some of the best customer service I have ever seen. She had to help train the other club in how to do membership transfers after I had spent 45 minutes on the phone with them and given wrong information on several accounts. Mia had a great attitude from the moment I walked through the door and was happy to help in any way she could.

I travel for a living and use planet fitness locations to shower across the US. It’s not often I ever actually leave one because it’s so bad, but this is definitely one I left. Old tired gym with buckled floors everywhere, dirty hard water stained bathroom with ceilings tile punch out the top of the shower so you are looking straight into the rafters, and God knows what looking back at you in the shower! And no changing rooms. Whoever is the owner or GM of this one, is really dropping the ball.

Nice club. The only negatives I see are that they aren't open 24/7 like the ones down south I'm used to and the management doesn't do a good job policing cleanliness.
