I LOVE the atmosphere here! The staff are all so nice! I actually love the morning manager Bobbi! She has been the sweetest and most helpful every time I’ve had a question! I am always ready for my next visit just to be able to have the opportunity to be in a welcoming space and clear my head! Night shift is great as well. But I prefer mornings with Bobbi and her crew! I have went in the morning a few times during the week for months. The morning shift people were great when I first started coming to Lawrenceburg. Now the new manager seems to never pay attention to us, I think her name is Bobby. She is rude and ignores people that come to the desk. She’s always on her phone. When you ask for a tanning bed she gets an attitude with you . She gives ugly looks when you ask her for anything. She is not friendly and doesn’t even say hi to you when you walk in. The environment is not like how it used to be. I will not be coming to this planet fitness again.

I show up mon-wed at 2am every week because of my job schedule, and Tyler is always already cleaning, checking the equipment, and maning the front. Even when I go to leave my guy is hard at work. He is very nice and does his job every night. The equipment is great and easy to use, and there are plenty of sets to go around when I do occasionally come in early. No complaints 5-stars.

I started going here 2 years ago. When i started the team members was always willing to help it was always clean. Plenty of paper towels to wipe down equipment. Now its ran by highschool kids who are too interested in there phones to do anything. If you ask for anything you get attitude like they hate there job. The paper towel dispensers are always empty. It used to be a great place to go workout. Now its ran by seems like the highschool hangout its really sad that its gotten this bad and talking to other longtime members im definitely not the only one who feels this way. Also why are the rules not enforced theres a lunk alarm that obviously doesnt work cuz theres people grunting loudly theres people taking up machines for over a half an hour just messing with there phones it should be one set of rules for everyone not highschool kids get one set and the paying members get a club ran by teenagers for teenagers. Sorry rant over its just really sad to see how this place has gotten.

And it's a shame that with a regular membership you can only go to One Planet Fitness as I travel a lot. It's triple the membership fee for a black card so that you can visit other ones. I really didn’t need this today. Lost reception and the map in a cornfield and I didn’t end up the intended Planet Fitness. This one has Matrix equipment. Including the worst offender in the Matrix line up of ergonomically horrific machines, Rotary Torso. There are a number of machines that let you work your obliques with BACK SUPPORT so you can lift real weight and build/maintain muscle. Not Rotary Torso. I’m too scared to throw my back out on one of these and sue it out of existence for everyone who comes to Planet Fitness after me. But someone will one of these days. A gym that features equipment that does not serve the needs of its “members of a certain age” is just unethical. I really didn’t need this today…

Editing my original score to reflect the new schedule. While the club is still really clean and the people are great, the schedule changes have made it difficult to get in there. My main nights when I was able to go and spend some time working out were on Friday and Saturday night, so the fact that they close early on both of those evenings has diminished my appreciation for this branch. I hope someday they will bring back later hours on those nights for those of us who only have free time on weekend evenings.

Facility is very clean and the GM Derek, is top notch. I am currently on crutches due to a torn meniscus and so my work outs are limited. The GM was there on his off time by my bench near the dumb bells grabbing the weight I needed after each set so I didn't have to hobble to and from the rack and risk more injury. He was also giving me alternative workouts to do that I could do sitting down. Shows how well he is with his club members and willing to help anyone out whose trying to better themselves.

So my husband and I have been going to planet fitness here in Lawrenceburg since it opened and we have always had the black card. The manager Josh had to try to pull rank today when I ask to tan after my work out and told me I did not have the black card. He did not do this in a nice manner. He blatantly embarrassed me in front of staff and members. He looked and acted like a little freaking weasel. Screw you Josh. You need a job in something other than customer service!

I love this club and enjoy working out here. However since this whole Covid-19 situation I feel you are making it harder for people to enjoy the gym. You are always very clean and staff is always very courteous. However your new hours of operation are keeping many like myself from working out. You cut your hours so those that have to workout at night or early morning because of a job or family can't go. You instead pack people into the gym during rush hours where people are more likely to contract the virus from someone else. Please reconsider your decision so that we can ALL enjoy our gym. I work out here once a week when out of town for repairs. This is the only planet fitness I have been to that has different equipment than the others. Have fun hyper extending your knees on the calf machine they have. Also, you are gonna have one hell of a time trying to squat on the smith machines they have. The hooks are facing the wrong way so good luck adjusting the bar correctly so they wont hook up when you go down for your first rep. Is this like a Indiana mong thing or something? I'm no financial advisor or anything but you can tell the difference like they cheaped out on alot of things. Good luck getting a good leg day in here. The machines are ehhhh.
