I’ve been at this gym now for a little over two years, and I am NOT a powerlifter or a strongman, but I really like this gym, especially the new larger space!!! My personal trainer Josiah is fantastic - and so are the other personal trainers here (I’ve seen a lot of their work and think they’re all great!) I also really like training here compared to other gyms…I’ve been a member at the YMCA and Planet Fitness, and those gyms are overcrowded and honestly some of the people there can be intimidating. This gym is the exact opposite! First, it’s not overcrowded which is incredible. Second, everyone is extremely supportive of ALL people no matter where you are on your fitness journey - they really just want to encourage you to continue to improve. Dan and Tyler make an effort to know the people at this gym on a deeper level than the commercialized gyms, and I’ve even been stopped by them out in public cause they wanted to say hello and see how I’m doing. I’ve actually even taken some of the classes that are offered here, specially the early one with Dan and Josiah. It’s a great way to get in a good workout with a busy schedule, and they’ve recently started to add more classes at various times if you wanna get involved that way. If you’re looking for a lot of cardio equipment, this is not the gym for you…it does have a few really nice treadmills, a few bikes, and an eliptical and I’ve never waited to use them, so they do have them as an option, but don’t expect a ton of cardio equipment here. I would love for the gym to get a stairclimber at some point :) overall, great atmosphere, good equipment (including heavy kettlebells and fat bells if you’re looking for the heavy stuff not offered in commercial gyms) and the best part about this gym: the PEOPLE!

I have been training with Dan Mason for nearly 16 months here, and I could not be happier with him as a trainer or with the gym. My goals were to combat osteopenia and to strengthen my balance and general ability to perform heavy outdoor work. The numbers are in- I have “cured” my ostopenia and stopped knee and hip pain. The whole team is welcoming and the gym has everything needed to improve your strength and endurance. As for Dan, he understands how to motivate and challenge me during every workout. He also stops (stubborn) me from doing too much.
Folks from teens to their 90s have found how much PHP has to offer them- from competition to weight loss to daily life improvement. If you are a retiree reading this, know that you are just beginning your next life phase, and Dan and the team at Premeditated Health and Performance will help you live your best life!

Easily one of the best gyms I've been to and some of the best community. It's smaller and it feels good to support a local business and support a business isn't constantly trying to be something it's not. They know what they are, and they know what they value. Their efforts to grow are focused and intentional, and their efforts don't lead to detriment of their customers. Everyone that attends the gym is very nice and you start to get to know people just by the nature of it. Everyone is always willing to help or give advice if you ask, but also let you learn on your own. You'll see the same people and they'll always give you a smile or wave even if you're not working with them directly on a regular basis. They've managed to take that sense of community you see with regularly scheduled classes for yoga/crossfit/etc and turn it into something you get just by being at the gym at any time with whomever is there.
The equipment they have is irregular and it feels like I can't go 3-4 weeks without seeing something new and having to ask someone what it is. Insanely large kettlebells, giant barbells that you can't even grip, 180lb adjustable dumbbells (why?), its fun to just look at it all and see people try to use them seriously and non-seriously.
I've seen a lot of trainers train people from all different backgrounds and different starting points and you can just sense a good relationship and dynamic across all the trainers and their customers.
I, like many people, had been in and out of gyms and had general exercise experience in other non-lifting related areas, but going here, hiring Dan to train me, has taught me a lot not only about growing muscles and strength, but in general health and gym culture. Dan does a great job and you get the sense that his intention is for you to grow both in health and graduate towards being able to train yourself and be confident in what you're doing and know what you're doing. He also does a great job of getting into the niche movements and finer details of the exercises and how they're helping you not only broadly, but in your individualized goals.
Furthermore, its always a pleasure to chat about business and how he thinks about the business he and Tyler are growing.
I'd highly recommend going here no matter the type of exercise you're doing or learning.

We are so grateful to have found this gym and Coach Tyler! My daughter started training with him a few months ago to prepare for her next volleyball season. Tyler is knowledgeable, encouraging, and truly cares about his athletes. The entire staff is always kind and welcoming—we genuinely feel like part of a family here. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a supportive and professional training environment!

I cannot say enough good things about this gym! From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed and valued. As a plus-sized female, finding a gym where I feel comfortable and supported can be challenging, but this place exceeded all my expectations.
The staff here are incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, always ready to offer guidance and encouragement without any judgment. They've created an environment that celebrates all body types and fitness levels, which is so refreshing.
The facilities are top-notch, with a wide range of equipment that caters to everyone's needs. Plus, the layout is spacious and well-designed.
But perhaps what sets this gym apart is the sense of community. I've made so many friends here who share similar fitness journeys, and we motivate and support each other every step of the way.
Overall, this gym has become my second home, a place where I can truly be myself and work towards my health and wellness goals with confidence. I can't recommend it enough!

A great gym with top notch trainers. If strength is your goal, this is your place. There are a wide variety of members, both women and men with a very strong women's community. I am 56 years old and have been training with Dan for over a year. To give me goals, I have worked towards and competed in several strongman events. It's fun to see what I can do; come check out PHP and see what you can do too!

I’ve been friends with Dan and Tyler for a little over a year now and moved from another gym to PHP with them when it opened. The amount of family and community that I’ve had the honor of meeting here in just 4 short months has been amazing. The vibe at PHP is unmatched. We work hard to have a community with everybody but especially a strong female oriented community because strength sports can be scary and overwhelming for women. PHP is the place I want to go when I’m happy, sad, confused etc. with unmatched friendliness, phenomenal coaches and equipment for the top two strength sports, PHP has everything you can ask for. We have frequent strength parties (squat, bench, deadlift) on top of strongman Saturday every weekend. Our strongman community is a very close, tight knit group and we welcome new people with open arms. I don’t think I could ever have anything bad to say about PHP.
