Amazing course with some tricky tee shots that will have you pulling less than driver. Scenic views on so many holes, with nice elevation changes that proved challenging but fair. All of the staff I interacted with were so friendly and welcoming, and I got grouped with some amazing people as a single player. Will be back the next time I'm in the area!

Highly recommend this course if you are visiting French Lick. Pete Dye is obviously the standout course in the area, but Sultan’s Run is a clear second. Each hole is unique picturesque. Uses their shuttle services across several days of our trip and they were fantastic. Always on time, knowledgeable and great service.

Course is pure eye candy and the staff is incredibly kind and professional. Thought I was in Hoosier heaven until I got to the 1st green…hmmm, green’s a bit shaggy & bumpy. “Hope they get this one fixed”.

Got to the 2nd green…uh, oh. By the 6th hole our group was declaring all the greens auto two-putts as we’d realized we’d be seeing this same mess the rest of the day. Hit one plinko putt and just rake it…not fair surfaces on which to take additional strokes.

Sadly, what I thought (hoped) were anomalies were simply the reality of their very consistently poor conditioning.

Such a shame. I’d love to play this course again but won’t consider it until they get decent greens. Full swings…everything you could want in a golf course. And, curiously, the conditions until getting onto the greens were incredible. Balls hit to the fairway sit propped up perfectly. Like to pick/sweep the ball? You got it! Like to take big divots? Easy! Fairways were perfect.

Really hoping that the timeframe that I played was after a bad stretch that adversely affected the putting surfaces and not indicative of their typical condition.

The course was well maintained and incredibly challenging. The staff was super friendly. Too many golf courses have staffs that give off way too much attitude; the staff at Sultans Run was incredible. From the club house to the ranger to the cart girls, they were all awesome. Did I mention the course was in great shape and a definite challenge.

I literally can not say enough good things about the is course and its staff. If this is your first time visiting Sultans Run please make sure you follow the signs upon arrival for bag drop. Their team will meet you kindly and take care of everything for you. The club house is top notch along with their service. Don't hesitate to try anything from the grill!!! My wife and I are from Missouri and stopped in for a round. It was colder and raining but we still wanted to get out and play. The course is an amazing layout and the signature 18 hole is phenomenal. Even better was the service! Larry in the clubhouse was fantastic! He let my wife borrow a blanket to keep warm and even offered a jacket! This course is extremely fun to play and well-maintained. Every hole is unique, with wide fairways but challenging changes in elevation. The greens are smooth and fast, but fair. Clubhouse is new, with great food and convenient technology from the carts to the live feed of hole 18!

My wife and I completely enjoyed our round. As we travel nationally, ths is one of the nicer courses we have played. We would suggest lowering the sensitivity of the carts. Notification of being in a restricted area should not include the cart path. On a more positive note, the staff was friendly and accommodating and the setup was exceptional.

Great course. I am a member at a private club about an hour away, and I am always pleased when I make the journey over to play at Sultans. I have played here for years, and they have always made sure that the course is great. Many clubhouse upgrades recently, so it's getting a little pricey, but still worth it.

Moved back to Jasper in 2023. Took up golf a few weeks ago. Decided to see what Sultans Run had to offer, as I had heard the ownership team invested in renovations to the clubhouse and other improvements.

Pulling up to the course, it felt private with top notch, premium service starting right at the bag drop. Every staff member was smiling, helpful, and seemed truly happy to see clients.

I hadn’t been inside the clubhouse since getting married here in 2010. To say the renovations are miraculous would be an understatement. Beautiful interior, plenty of apparel and other offerings, and the restaurant now features a high end chef. Fantastic!

Myself and a business partner played on a Wednesday. Nobody was behind us, so we took our time and enjoyed the spectacular views. Greens, fairways, everything was in magnificent shape. The peaceful quietness of the course made the round even more enjoyable.

Lucky to have this course so close to the house. Great place to take vendors, clients, and other business connections. Do believe I will pick up the Golf Pass. Planning to play here often!

Took a group of 16 for a stay and play package a few weeks ago and couldn't have been more impressed! The onsite chalet and cottage were clean, comfortable, and incredibly convenient to the course. The staff were all amazing from the servers at the grill all the way to the club pro Chris Tretter who took care of everything for us. Then to top it off, the course was in great condition and absolutely beautiful to play. I can't recommend the course more! We are looking forward to returning next year!

May 2024 had another chance to play here so my second time, again, what a great golf course, pro shop well stocked and friendly staff throughout this facility, greens were perfect, bunkers also were in perfect condition, rough was hit and miss but we've had so much rain recently... Great practice area with a range, flop shot, chipping and pitching areas them a separate large really sweet putting green

I played here for first time yesterday and like the other reviews say this course is in perfect shape, landscape throughout all 18 holes and breathe taking scenery. Sparse grass in fairways and harvested sod transplanted to surrounding green fronts, making it impossible to play. Course is "Ground Under Repair" everywhere. We played in the Redemption Christian church charity that benefits the Tim Tebow "Night to Shine" events. Course was well managed. Very fluffy first cut. We weren't in fairways all that often. Course was great. Only reason why I am giving it a three star is because we were interrupted, pushed by the staff workers watering the green and aerating it. They were very ride, even argued with my husband and uncle who complained to them after first asking them to wait for us to finish the putting. They were terrible. I waited to make my last shot onto the green on 18 for them to move and they never did after 15 minutes so I took my shot that I knew would not make it there, but did roll up onto the green. At least it didn't get stopped by their hose that they surrounded the hoke with. I wanted pictures of my cousin , husband and uncle up on the last Holo, the most scenic in Indiana, but you can see what I got with them in the way. So terrible. I've never had that happen in 15 years of golfing. Talk about golf edicate... They need to give lessons to the workers to display excellence courtesy to match the course beauty. It really made the end bad for us.
Oh and the Pro my uncle spoke to about it basically said, go play the hole again. Wow. So rude to take that position. I won't play there again. So many other courses to play. Could have been a regular spot our family goes to but that is crazy. They could have had the courtesy to wait a couple minutes for us to finish. But literally drove right up and started on the green with them still putting. Who wants to have that? On the best hole for scenery??? No thank you!!!
Oh did I mention there was no one behind us teeing off so there was a clear break for them to work on it after us. And they knew that since they came up from behind us. Geez guys! The guy in my pic on the right is the second worker up on the green with my family trying to put. So bad!

Beautifully manicured course but very very poorly managed with regard to pace of play. My buddy and I played the track this past Friday and I realize they can’t control the rain so the CPO wasn’t their fault but once we hit the back 9 is was a log jam. Front side was amazing.

The new carts have GPS tracking so I find it hard to imagine someone jumped in front of us on the turn but to have people hitting into you as you’re finishing up a hole is pretty unacceptable. Two groups in front of us were playing 6 to a hole. It was mess.

Course was in amazing shape despite how dry it has been lately. The course was on a 15 minutes delay due to frost. Was a very cold start, so with the delayI got a small bucket for the range. They quickly organized all no shows and grouped us up with another two removing the delay and getting us out on our tee time on time. Very respectful staff, both the starter and ranger were nice. Pro shop was nice, and the Chipotle chicken sandwich in the clubhouse was really good. Will make the 2hr drive again next summer, maybe a few times.

Beautiful and scenic. Course condition was perfect. No complaint about the course and the facilities. Hole 18 is a stunning finish as most others have said. The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is because play got really jammed up on the back 9. I think it's because a few of the groups took a break to rest and/or snack after 9 holes before continuing to the back, effectively jamming 5 or 6 groups into 3 time slots in the back. Me and my buddy finished the front 9 in less than 1.5 hours, but the back 9 took 2.5 hours. There either needs to be a course ranger going around to ensure pace of play, or golfers should not be allowed to take a break between the front and back if the course is busy (maybe both). We finished just after the 7pm cutoff time. Had we not been able to finish because of slow play, we would not have been very happy, especially since it would have meant we missed out on playing the stunning hole 18.

We played on Sunday, August 9 in the late afternoon and I will say for the reduced rate it was a wonderful experience. The course is fantastic shape. There are a few repair areas and a few bunkers that did not have enough sand but most tee boxes, fairways and greens were in tremendous shape. The character of this course is hard to beat the way most holes are shaped by trees.

The golf course has something for all levels of golfers. They are some short fun holes. Someone in our group made the par 4 on a drive. There are some holes that call for target golf. You have a few holes that are links style. Most of the rolling hills and backdrops are truly picturesque. For the value and the courses in the area it it top notch. I have played Valhalla, Hurstbourne, Persimmon Ridge, Chariot Run, Champions Point, Covered Bridge and the layout and character of this course is better and not far behind some of the highly ranked golf courses in KY. Take the time for the drive and it is worth the travel.

Very friendly staff! Course was in immaculate condition from tee to green! Can be very challenging if you're not in the fairway! Fair test of skill but not an easy course. Beautiful holes especially on the back! Good value, highly recommend playing this course. Much more enjoyable than some other courses in the area! One of the nicest courses in Indiana!

Very good course, in excellent condition, especially after a lot of rain right before our round. Fun challenge, with lots of elevation changes. Several holes might be signature holes on lesser courses. The best is the 18th - visually challenging off the tee, with the green set in front of a rock wall with waterfalls. One of the best finishing holes in golf.

Beautiful course that showcases the contour of southern Indiana. Staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. Course plays fairly, love the zoysia fairways, greens are receptive. Always worth the drive!

Great golf course. Many scenic holes. Each hole is named after a race horse. With its hills and mounds, traps and water there's plenty of challenge. But it's also fair and in great shape. Enjoy!

Finally got a chance to play this course yesterday, 5/22/2020. The course is beautiful and very well maintained! Along with the golf being challenging, fun, and one of the best courses I've played on, the customer service was hands down the best I've ever received! The gentleman in the pro shop were very friendly and above and beyond accommodating. Just an amazing experience overall. I will absolutely be back again for another round.

Have played the course many times and have had no complaints about anything. It’s an amazing challenging course with awesome scenery but played there again tonight and the lady working was extremely rude to our group. Very disappointing considering we love the course.

Excellent Championship caliber golf course located on rolling southern Indiana hills. Course condition is always a pleasure to play. Two picturesque, signature holes, 12 & 18, add to the pleasure of the experience. Bundle Sultan's Run with the French Lick course, and the Santa Claus course for 3 days of adventurous golf in southern Indiana.
