Great gym! Cheapest day pass & gear rental of any gym I've ever visited. Really nice gear shop. Lots of well rated routes for auto belay and top rope. Bouldering is limited, but they are expanding. Highly recommend the visit if you're in the area!

I tried out Indoor rock climbing for the first time Wednesday afternoon and had a blast. The rock walls were challenging but not so challenging to intimate a beginner. The staff was very friendly. The equipment was high quality. It's a great way to get exercise in a interesting and fun way.

Great indoor climbing gym! They accommodated our group of 20 climbers (mainly 10-11 years old) with an hour notice. The auto belay walls had a difficulty for everyone's level of skill. Our group thought the price was a great value ($16 per person) as well.

I have NEVER been rock climbing before, so I was extremely anxious to try out this place, despite their outstanding reviews. When I walked in, the staff was extremely nice and was willing to answer all my questions!! The contract/video only took about 20 minutes and gets renewed every year, and the staff makes sure you understand how to work the auto belyaing system before you get to climb on your own! Such a calm, cool environment and I feel 100 percent safe there! Definitely going back soon πͺ¨

Great for first time climbers (adults and children). Took daughter who is 6. Auto belay is easy to use with around 9 wall options. Daughter enjoyed staying on the first two walls when you enter as wall was easier for her to climb given her height. Clean place, lockers available (could bring your own lock) or pay $3 for a more secure location for belongings. Overall friendly environment and will be returning.

VX is by far one of the best recreational facilities I've been to. Tried it out with a friend this summer having only been a few times in my life up to that point. We've both become members and climb two nights/week on average - such a great workout and good cross training as we are both runners and often lack upper body strength. We LOVE the staff - the Tues/Fri crews know us both by name! They are kind to everyone and so helpful. No plans to drop this membership, even if I have to sacrifice Netflix and Hulu to keep it...

Has a lot of great challenges. Coming from California, I am impressed with the types of challenges this gym has. It has an array of different angled walls. Also the staff and owner are extremely nice and helpful. If you have any questions about anything like gear, beta for routes, or about the establishment they will eagerly help you. I highly recommend checking the gym out. There is also a bouldering area upstairs. I have not used it so I can't give a rating for that. Looks great though, has some overhangs as well.

I would definitely recommend it if you've never gone rock climbing before. I had no experience and I learned pretty fast. I do think that their "video tutorial" is a bit excessive. I didnt get all of it down but afterwards, at the hands on part, I figured it out by watching. I feel like the video couldve been reduced to roughly 5 minutes then just the hands on part.

I just started rock climbing at this place a few months ago and I can't get enough of it. This place is great for beginners, really accessible climbing routes for first-day people and some difficult climbs for veterans. The gym has auto-belay systems, top-roping, and bouldering. I bought my membership after a few visits and I'm able to bring friends and family to try it out and they always have a blast. The staff is very helpful and will help you with anything you need. Can't say enough good things about the place.

There are 6-7 auto-belay devices and maybe a dozen human-belay sections. I've never been crowded there and my teenage kids and younger also get a lot out of it. It's like climbing trees when you were a kid minus the broken arms. Check out the website for specials or it can get expensive. And you'll be sore the next day, but it's a lot of fun.
