Came in inquire about membership options for an unemployed 100% service connected disabled vet. Was on no uncertain terms told that since I had income on my 2024 tax return, I would not qualify for assistance, regardless not having been able to work for the last 11 months. We decided to not join the Y, particularly this one, they do a shared locker room. Men and women in the same locker room. No thanks. We went to another local gym that have separate locker rooms.

This is a new YMCA. It is excellent. My only two negatives is they don't provide cleaning towels and spray like the Jordan in the weight room and they have yet to build a small pool for swim lessons and aerobics. This means the primary pool, which is amazing, is kept much colder and not ideal for kids or aerobic groups. I am hopeful this build will come soon enough. It is clean, friendly, and easy to use.

I love the Silver Sneakers classes at the Y, they are a good challenge and I love the music they play! It is only fitting that the Baby Boomers should be listening to 70's and 80's music!

The Westfield YMCA offers adequate space and equipment for a good workout. I enjoy the indoor track for warm up and in between weight sets. My wife swims three times a week and is able to gain space to do so without hassle. I use the stationary Matrix bikes and enjoy the technology they provide for a good workout. The staff is friendly and helpful. I am impressed how clean the staff keeps the facility. Parking is available. While I do not have small children it is great that there is a childcare for young parents. Also, I see a large group of pickleball players using the gym in the morning. I give the Y a 10 Star!!

Went here for swim classes for my daughter. I would recommend them, but keep in mind that the staff can be young depending on what day and time you're going. It was a very efficient process though. Plenty of space to swim and the classes for her age were only 30 minutes which was nice for mom and dad too. We did have an issue with the payment, but they got that taken care of. They are also responsive to your needs. Plenty of parking, especially when it's busy.

The place is Brand New and has a lot of options for you to choose to stay in shape. Whether it's weightlifting, Running, Swimming, Basketball as well as other classes, you have many options to choose from and the Staff is Very Friendly.

Only complaint is I wish the gym didn't open on Sundays at 11AM and wish it was open earlier, but that is just knit picking. Overall great facility and environment

This is NOT a full ymca yet. We are here from out of town and wanted to get a quick workout in during the holidays. Childcare was listed on their website but they did not actually have it. I recommend to this facility to update their website to make sure everyone knows it’s not a fuly functional YMCA

If you're looking for a friendly, inviting environment where the staff are top notch! YMCA Westfield Natatorium is a great place to cool off or workout. There's a huge pool with a section that's only 4 feet deep that you can do water aerobics in or free swim. There's also a chair lift if needed to get in/out the pool.There's also swim lanes in the deep end to do laps. There's kids day camp during the summer months so they can swim during the day. There's also a small kids area and refreshments in the lobby. With a small exercise bike area and exercise room with instructor. 4 stars because on Several occasions the single stall lobby restroom doesn't have soap or Toilet paper and not always the cleanest.

Poor communication. This name is deceiving because it’s not a traditional YMCA at all. All deference and priority goes to the swim teams and the schools, not members who are paying dues. The pool is already closed on Sundays, and with swim meets in full gear, more weekends of no swimming are likely to come. A sign was posted on the door a few days before an all weekend meet about the pool being closed this weekend. Really? No email or text or advanced notice? What about giving members a schedule of when meets will be and they won’t be able to swim.

I wish someone knew their hours. Their flyer is different than online. maps has a different set and fishers y has posted even more hours. Which is correct??? I love the pool. It is colder than fishers pool but it’s ok after a few laps. The Westfield Highschool uses the pool it’s not as clean as some other pools. But for the most part I’m there to lap swim so that’s the greatest part!!! Five stars for the pool itself.

When we started with the swim lessons, I had already been trying to get my 7 year old into the water with not much success. The swim lessons have helped tremendously with his comfort being in the water and actually trying to learn swimming. He now enjoys the water and is looking forward to his classes. I couldn’t have been happier. The instructors also are always prompt in gathering the children before the class start time. Overall a very positive and pleasant experience.

We recently started swimming classes at Westfield- YMCA. The facility is new, recently opened. Specifically for swimming, well maintained and cleaning with lockers to change. Good sound absorbers all through the pool area and temperatures are pretty reasonable. Not too crowded, I would think it has a lot to do with winter. Friendly staff and much needed location for Westfield.

We attend the Silver Sneakers classes for aerobic workouts and strength building. We also do our walk on the mezzanine for endurance work, especially during inclement weather. Very convenient and much better than mall walking. The staff (and that's everyone within the facility) is very upbeat, building self confidence in the new or inexperienced members. Many not accustomed to working out in a gym or health maintenance facility. As the facility continues to build and grow, I expect it to be an important part of the Westfield community.
