I have really enjoyed training since July at Alloy! Every trainer is great and pushes us in the right way, one more rep, heavier weight, or a modifier when needed. I have been really happy with Alloy and have seen great gains! Having small groups is the right answer for me as well so I don't ever feel lost in the crowd while training.

So happy I chose Alloy. The trainers are fantastic, super supportive and knowledgeable. They challenge me but are also great at helping me when I am struggling or need modifications because of an injury. Getting to know and work with a group of people consistently has really helped me stay motivated. There’s always a good energy and I actually enjoy and look forward to going to the gym now which has always been something I struggled with.

I had been looking for gym for a while that provided small group training that is convenient and the trainers provide an individualized approach. Alloy has been perfect! The trainers are great, push me when needed while also being sensitive to each persons physical journey. I’ve learned a lot about the importance of my nutrition and have noticed that I’m getting stronger and stronger over the last couple of months. Great place for those of us who haven’t done a whole lot of strength training before and need help getting going again!

I know we have all been there when we sign up for a gym and have a hard time finding the motivation to go after a week. Alloy is the only gym that I have ever stayed consistent with. The monthly check ins keep me accountable and the fast paced fun environment makes the hour long workout session fly by. If you’ve ever been interested in personal training or being the best version of your best self, join Alloy.

I was wanting to get into functional strength and weight training, but I felt intimated going to one of the larger gyms. Alloy has been perfect!! You are taught the right way to do things and modifications are made if needed. All of the trainers are great in motivating you to do more than you think you can! I look forward to every session!

30 days in and all the arrows are moving in the right direction. Weight loss, fat loss and muscle gain - this program is working. Accountability, proximity and personal training were all important to me when I was looking to start a fitness routine and so far, Alloy is the right fit for me.
The trainers are knowledgeable and committed to your personal health and wellness. I enjoy working with every one of them, each bringing a different vibe to the session - helping to mix things up!
I am hopeful to see more results in my next 30 days, as I work towards (and beyond) my fitness goals.

As a healthcare provider I am painfully aware of the need to exercise both aerobic and muscle building. As we age this need increases but in most cases the motivation does not increase. Alloy gives me the personal attention to maximize my fitness and muscle building to meet my needs. They listen to you and help develop a program to assist you. They motivated you to come in the gym and workout outside of the gym. They provide nutritional advice. Let’s face it, medication won’t build muscle and weight loss alone decreases your muscle mass. You are going to need that muscle base to live a long healthy life. So, find time to take care of yourself, recommend this to family and friends , because good health is the best gift of all.

Joining Alloy was the best decision I have made in a long time! Not only are all of the trainers hilarious and amazing people, but you will actually see real results from consistency here! I just hit my 50th workout at the Ankeny location and I am more motivated than ever to reach my personal fitness goals. Also, they aren't kidding when they say Alloy is a community, because I’ve met some of the most amazing people that support and challenge me while working out here! If you’re thinking about trying it out, don’t hesitate… I say go for it!

I am so happy that I chose Alloy Personal Training! When I started my fitness journey in July this year, I was overweight and felt very overwhelmed with what I could do to start losing weight.
My initial consultation with Alex and Scott they made it very comfortable to talk to and figure out what my goals were and they asked really great questions. The biggest thing for me was that they made me feel 100% comfortable. I've learned so much since then and I am still learning every day. Workouts are exciting, and sometimes I work out in groups so that is fun too!
So far I've lost 30 pounds! I look and feel so much better, and I still have a lot more progress to make. Trying to lose another 10 pounds and gain even more muscle right now but I just wanted to share how great this team at Alloy really is. Anyone who is thinking about starting their own fitness journey just like I have, choose Alloy in Ankeny!

If you're looking for motivation, flexibility, and a personalized approach to fitness, I highly recommend Alloy.
As a busy mom of three, I needed accountability to get back into a workout routine. From day one, Alloy has provided exactly that and more. Since starting, my form has improved, I have greater stability, my nutrition is better, and I feel significantly stronger. I particularly appreciate the monthly accountability sessions that track my progress and ensure I'm moving toward my goals. I've been amazed by my body scan results—more muscle mass and less body fat—the numbers truly speak for themselves!
My trainer, Alex, always brings incredible energy to each session and provides the perfect amount of challenge when needed. It's so convenient that he has everything prepared for my workout when I arrive, taking all the guesswork out of my training.
Another significant benefit has been the camaraderie with other clients. I've met some incredible people at Alloy, and it's become an amazing community that I love being a part of.
I could go on, but simply put, I highly recommend Alloy.

I have had so much success since starting at Alloy! Their personal approach is incredibly helpful and they give attention to every single person that walks in the door. You feel appreciated and a real part of the gym. The pace and intensity are customized to each person. I highly recommend Alloy to anyone who is interested in a different approach to working out. So grateful for the consistent support and monthly one-on-one check-ins. Success is waiting for you there!

Alloy is a great place for building your foundation and strength training! I worked out once a week for 8wks and I'm now going twice a week. I can definitely already tell a difference in my strength and mindset.
I haven't worked out for over two years due to injuries, surgeries, and a car accident. The trainers are phenominal at tailoring the workouts to challenge you, strengthen you, while still be mindful of your needs and limitations. They pay attention to form and quality over quantity, so you actually see real results.
They also encourage making Alloy are part of your regular routine, along with any other modes of working out. If you want to get more out of your workouts/training, they don't discourage other places and types of workouts. They want you to succeed! They will be your biggest cheerleader in life. It's a physical and mental mindset. You won't find a better encouraging group than the trainers at Alloy.

I love Alloy! Coming back from an injury I had no idea how to modify my workouts so that I didn’t re-injure myself. Alex, Scott and Taylor have been able to provide workouts that challenge me, adjust exercises in the moment to meet my bodies needs and do so in a way that feels positive, supportive and helpful. Highly recommend!

I have had a great experience with Alloy. I am not an athlete and really know nothing about weight training. I feel welcomed when I enter. They give me good pointers when my form needs correcting and they are fun and encouraging throughout the workout. The gym is brand new and each week we get a different routine to follow. Give them a try. It’s lots of fun and you’ll feel accomplished when you are done.
