I’ve been really impressed with this Anytime Fitness location. The gym is always super clean, and you can tell they take pride in keeping it that way. All the equipment is new or very well maintained, and there’s a great variety of machines for every kind of workout. Lori is especially awesome—she’s always friendly, helpful, and makes everyone feel welcome. You can tell she really cares about the members and the gym community. I don’t normally go to the gym, but I decided today was a good day to start. I chose to come to this anytime fitness location, I love it here! Lori was here to help get me started, she was very nice and helpful!

My daughter wanted to sign up after she just had her first daughter, so I told her I would pay for it as my treat for her and then I got some devastating news at the doctor and am not able to afford it now because the cost of medical treatments and my daughter unfortunately can not afford it at all. When trying to speak with the manager who signed her up, she would not let us Cancel the membership. Granted it had only been two days since she signed up and never once used the gym. I am continuously getting the monthly charge taken from my bank account. Absolutely no heart or even a rid bit of empathy with these people. Very sad. I would absolutely NOT recommend.

Be careful getting into any agreement with this company i expressed wanting to cancel at the end of my three year contract i was told i had to wait till after it is up the contract says if i cancel i have to pay 100 dollars makes sense right well after september i called to cancel because a month or two before that they said i had to wait they said ill have to pay 75 for myself and my wife 150 dollars in total to cancel i started to ask questions where i was later told if i gave my 30 day notice in september i would have been charged the last payment of 35 each and be done with it but because information was with held by lori "in hopes we would stay" i am now being charged 150 dollars and there is nothing she can do about it she says i was never informed of a 30 day notice at any point and was told i could not cancel until after 30 days she later in the phone call states maybe i said that maybe i didnt and that there is no one else i can talk to and nothing i can do i will never use anytime again

Have been a member for 3 years stopped going about a year ago and recently tried to cancel my membership and they will charge u almost 200 just to cancel your membership and hassle you and blow up your phone they also have made changes to there contracts and expect people who never signed them to abide by them very shady and not worth the stress go to a different gym you will be happy you did manger is very unprofessional and rude

Lori is great she is one of the main reasons I come in everyday. I’ve tried many gyms before and having Lori and my coach is the main reason I’ve been going everyday. I’ve always struggled with loving myself and my body and thanks to the staff and the new found confidence I feel like I’m a total new person! Couldn’t recommend more.

Its very very clean it doesn't stink like a gym the equipment always works plenty of options of cable weights free weights plenty of cardio machines and bathrooms have very clean showers and bathrooms I wouldn't go to any other gym. Been at Anytime for 10 years I've tried other gyms in the past but Anytime fitness is where its at!

Tried to call to set an appointment for saturday for a one day pass and not only they didnt pick up, they didnt even call back. Oh well I guess its ymca then.

I haven't even visited this place and their customer service is awful. I signed up for a 14 day trial pass via their website. Then the local sales guy (Michael) told me that they would not honor the pass, that they would only give me 7 days. There is a deposit for the key (not mentioned how much) and a $29.95 one time activation fee. The monthly rate is $39.95 plus tax. They would only offer the 7 day pass for serious inquiries and would not offer 14 days to visitors. They would offer a 2 week membership for $25 or the daily rate of $10 per day.

I am part of the remote staff for the local in town Credit Union and I'm sure this place has done business with corporate accounts. But Michael would not budge on his 7 day pass. I asked to talk to a supervisor, but after reading the previous review, I doubt this will be settled to the customer's advantage.

I already have 24 Hour Fitness membership and unfortunately they do not cover this part of Iowa. It's a shame that this high profile establishment cannot offer exceptional customer service for it's local businesses or their military veterans.

If we cannot get this resolved, I doubt I will give a good review over social media.

My experience with this branch was anything but pleasant. The manager (Tracy) is unprofessional and has left me with a very negative impression of Anytime Fitness. I am on the road with my current job and so I called in advance before going in to see if I can get a weekly membership. The receptionist (Sara) answered the phone and told me she'd double check with the manager and call me back. She called me back 5 minutes later and told me it would be $39 for the access key and $20 a week. She said the $39 was refundable once I was done with my week. I went in and committed to said agreement. A week later I tried to renew for a second week and the receptionist called to confirm with Tracy. Tracy told her to charge my card the same amount as the first week ($39 + $20) which obviously does not make any sense at all. I called Tracy on the spot and she informed me that the key is non-refundable and that I could just pay the $20 now but I was not going to get my $39 back. I found this completely unacceptable. To make matters worse, she said that after this 2nd week she could no longer give me the weekly rate at $20 and that the membership was going to be $8 a day!! Later in the evening she called me again "informing" me that Sara had never told me the key was refundable!!! This is the epitome of unprofessional management. Calling your customer a liar and changing policy however you see fit is NOT how a business should be run. I've reported this branch to corporate HQ.
