This is a great gym. Very clean and a good temperature, with tons of equipment. Basketball court surrounded by a bunch of free weight stations and stair climber machines, stretching pads, and kettlebells. There's a cardio room with treadmills and stationary bikes, and weight machines. Towels are provided most days and also classes. The lodging check in desk is also in the building

We stayed in barracks that I probably stayed in 30-40 years ago. They were open bays back then. Now they have been converted to motel suite-like rooms with t.v., of course, and microwave, mini refrigerator, desk, double vanity, queen bed and sofa with hide-a-bed. Perfect for a couple and a teenager. The cost was about half that of the chain motels. Great experience!

I got a 1 bedroom house with cable and Wifi for $45 a night! Plus the gym on post is open from 0600-2100 every day.

I stay at Camp Dodge whenever I'm in town for drill. I drill near the airport, but I still prefer Camp Dodge. They are always so friendly, and it's so quiet and peaceful here!

They gave me a RM key card.... they apparently also gave the same RM to someone else. How awkward is it to get into a single room and someone is laying in your bed having their own personal time in a room you paid for... The supervisor Jeff did not want to discuss with me the personal and physical security deficiencies of how two individuals got the same room assigned through an Electronic system.

Honestly one of the best military billeting places I have been to and I have been to a lot of them. Very clean. There was no wifi but the phone line can be used for internet access.

Very clean, simple, inexpensive accomadations. Be sure to read instructions on the wall near stairs on first floor for how to adjust the thermostat! I will definitely stay there on my future visits to Camp Dodge!
