Coming from another gym in urbandale, our daughter has learned more in a matter of weeks than she did in months from the prior place. Sammie (Friday night intmdte) had been the blessing that our daughter has been needing. She helps her to improve skills, believes in her, and yet has an overall positive approach. The guilt for not bringing her here years sooner. 😔

Great gym. Really focused on safety and proper movement. My daughter loves going and has learned so much already. Front desk staff is wonderful and easy to work with. Parking and access is great.

Did their classes when my girls were very young. They had very little in the way of training or learning skills. Wanted to try it again as the kids are older now. Signed my daughter up for a class that was available. They called the next day saying that was invite only and that she could not test to get into it. Needed time to decide on what class to put her in and called back a few days later they are all full. Asked why she could have tested into the class and this person said she could. Poor business practices, untrained staff, and allowing someone to sign up for a class that their website said she could get into. Nice facility but poorly run.

I think my kid is actually in class learning, but it is so frustrating because the windows are covered with posters and blocked by unused vending machines and piles of mats that I really can't be sure. Everyone tries to peer through the available openings, but no one has a good view.
My kid has a good time, but I just end up sitting in my car not being able to notice or give praise when she hones her skills. That is frustrating as a parent.
Come on, Chow. We know that 99.9% of our kids will not be professional, so let us at least enjoy watching our kids do a sport they enjoy.
There is never anyone in the office when we have our classes, either, so not like there is anyone to complain to...

Don't waste your money They treat you like they're doing You a favor by letting your kid come into the building We have spent $1000 of dollars 3 years in they're recreational gymnastics classes and our daughter hasn't learned anything just does the same things over and over year after year basically learn how to walk in a line no REAL TRAINING OR ADVANCEMENT
even paid last year to sit in a car and go in one at a time for 5 minutes as parents to see the same thing and no help registering for classes either register and pay immediately that second or screw you what poor professionalism and customer service then when they did do a little meet you also pay to go see that and same stuff PATHETIC SO DONE DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY OR YOUR KIDS TIME

Chow gymnastics is great for kids that staff are nice and the gymnast Brooke spencer she is a level 8 or 9 and she is so nice to the younger kids and hope she makes is to the Olympics and how I know her is my daughter goes to school with her

We did the pre K class for just under half a year.
Chow's has a great facility, it's arguably the best in the area. The instruction may or may not work for you at this age.
As many will tell you this is a strict class. If you have an easy child that largely does what they're told when they're told this is probably a good fit you.
It was not a good fit for us which was disappointing as we were coming from a very successful experience, which we ended up returning to.

My daughter loves going to gymnastics because she gets to practice on all the professional equipment. Teachers are engaged and attentive. Minus one star because for the price you pay for lessons, open gym on Saturdays should not be $9.

We joined the tots class this year and have been so impressed! The coaching staff is phenomenal. They emphasize having fun and getting moving. They helped our son get comfortable in the big gym and now he is up for trying anything they ask of him. It has been an awesome transformation to watch our son learn how much fun he can have getting moving! It is also one of the most affordable classes we have found. We aren't at all worried about competitive gymnastics, just seeing our son learn and play. The coaches cheer every step of the way. Such a positive and fun environment to play in.
