I’m 40yo. I've been in the health and fitness industry for over 10 years and worked with a lot of coaches personally and professionally so I have a little experience on what makes a good coach. Shaun is a GREAT coach. He is very knowledgeable, effective, and motivating. Ive been working with him for about 2 years and definitely feeling in the best physical condition of my life. It’s great to be fit at 40 and feel solid and strong. No aches and pains. Highly recommend for beginners and experienced alike.

Shaun is an expert at designing a customized fitness program to meet each individual’s specific needs. I started three months ago with several “issues” related to a hip replacement and quad injury. The physical improvements I’ve made have been life changing. Shaun’s also just a great person to be around.

Shaun has been a massive help for me on my fitness journey. I struggled staying motivated by myself going to the gym, but now I look forward to my workouts every session. He keeps every workout new and specifically tailored to my needs. As an avid golfer he has helped me gain strength and explosiveness to help better my game, but more importantly I don’t ever struggle with body tightness or fatigue like I did in the past. Highly recommend anyone wanting to improve their health and fitness to look into having Shaun help!

Shaun is an incredible personal trainer who mixes humor with thoughtful and personalized fitness training and advice. He is very good at getting you to exceed your own limits and has even helped to rehab some old injuries to ensure I'm performing at my best. Shaun is great to work with. First time working with a personal trainer so wasn’t sure what to expect. Every session is tailored to exactly what my body can (or can’t!) handle. In 6 months I’ve seen and felt a huge improvement in stability and strength. For those with nagging injuries or pain, I’d highly recommend Shaun if your PT / Chiro seems to have maxed out, after a month, a nagging back injury that’d been around for multiple years was completely gone and hasn’t returned. Highly recommend.

Shaun is a true professional and that shows in every aspect of working with him. He's been very easy to work with and highly accommodating in terms of scheduling and the logistical side of things. In practice- Shaun really knows how to communicate what we're working on in our sessions and why. I hadn't seriously worked out in a disciplined and structured format in probably a decade when I started working with him and he has made it incredibly easy and a very rewarding experience. He finds that perfect balance between encouragement, support, and active communication to push me through more difficult portions of the workouts and makes sure that I celebrate growth and progress. I can't recommend Shaun enough if you're looking for help with your personal fitness goals.

I began training with Shaun a month and a half ago to help me get back into shape and to lose weight. I basically started from scratch fitness wise. I used to have a lot of hip pain, shoulder pain and tightness, and I got frequent tension headaches, even when I was active. Within 2 sessions, Shaun identified which muscles were weak and causing me so many issues so we could focus on strengthening those. Today I feel amazing! I haven't had a tension headache in well over a month, my hips and shoulders are pain free, I'm gaining strength and muscle definition, and I've already lost 8 pounds.
I can't emphasize enough how great Shaun is to work with. He's been nothing but encouraging and helpful while pushing me to do my best, so I've never felt self conscious or bad if I struggle. Quite the opposite. I always know when I've hit a new milestone or improvement. He also puts in a LOT of work to plan routines and design goals that are specific to me and my needs, whether that's exercise or diet—and he's brilliant at it. The man is incredibly knowledgeable.
So if you're thinking about taking the leap into finding a personal trainer for any reason, I cannot recommend him enough.

Update: Where has the time gone? I have been seeing Shaun for a year now and I feel good. After working on my mobility and range of motion for a few months we added in a menu plan. Since January 22 I have lost 85 lbs. I am stronger, more fit, and healthier than ever. I can't thank Shaun enough for helping me work towards a better self.
I have been working with Shaun at Enhanced Fitness for a couple of months now to improve my movement due to arthritis. I'm amazed at how far I have come and how much better I feel in such a short amount of time. Shaun does a great job easing you into your workout, then adding/changing things to push you farther. My workouts are tailored specifically to me and my goals; and the capability Shaun sees in me that I do not. I'm excited to see where I will be in 6 months.
Side Note: Shaun has a great sense of humor and laughs at my jokes.

I started working with Shaun a couple months prior my total knee replacement so I could go into my surgery stronger. After my hospital PT I came back 2x week. With only a couple months in I am noticing the progress in my overall body strength. It feels great to feel stronger & incentivizes me to continue each week. Shaun meticulously builds up your reps and weights in a way that is safe and productive. He has such a great knowledge of the muscle groups in your body and how not to injure. He teaches you stretching exercises to use at home and will build a gym routine for you for off days. He often checks in to see how you’re doing or with reminders of schedule times. Shaun is very dependable, honest, and devoted to his profession and each of his clients. We are lucky to have a trainer of this caliber in our community!

I am a 60+ yr old woman. My fitness goals are: 1.) Age well & 2.) Lift safely, which is what prompted me to contact Shaun. I see him 2x/wk. WOW. I have never worked so hard (in a good way!) & felt so strong. He is a scientist (for real! Exercise Physiologist). Awesome! After years of military fitness, I slowed down and had sciatic back problems. Shawn has been key to helping me with my fitness goals. Immediately I saw change, my body started to tone up, my legs and back become stronger and I had more energy. Shawn provided me with targeted stretches to eliminate my sciatic problems and focus on improving my overall fitness level. The workouts are tailored to me and my abilities so that I could improve my weak areas. I have been going to Shaun for about 2 years. He has helped me strengthen my core to make me more comfortable with my back issues. He custom designs workouts for each client to fit their need. I hit a deer recently and he is helping me with some neck issues that the doctors just wanted to prescribe meds. He's the best is all I can say!!

I have been working out at Enhancement Fitness with Shaun for 3 months now, in that time I have come to the conclusion that it is exactly the place I need to be. Shaun is thorough, knowledgeable and has a great approach to help ease the anxiety and uncertainty of being completely new to weight training and working out. He tailors every workout based on each individual client he works with....Factoring in their needs, limitations, and personal goals. Shaun is sure to teach basics, proper breathing and correct form very early in the process and he is sure that you focus on that form with every repetition as to not cause injury and to ensure you get the most out of the workout.
It has been amazing to see how far I have come in just 3 months and how much stronger I have gotten, and it is great to see Shaun get just as excited for the milestones in my workout journey as well. Shaun is the perfect combination of coach, trainer and cheerleader.
I am looking forward to continuing my journey with Shaun as my trainer and becoming a healthier and happier me with an all around better quality of life.

I started working with Shaun about a Month ago now. I was immediately impressed with his calm knowledgeable demeanor. He discussed my personal goals, he assessed my initial fitness level(ie., strength, flexibility, range of motion etc.). I was at no point concerned I would injure myself or anything like that. Shaun knows how to motivate, instruct and progress you through training that gets results.
I benefit from every session I attend. For me, having Shaun there to get me to push myself further than I would probably do on my own is of great value and really essential to attain the goals I've set.

Shaun is an outstanding personal trainer. Not only is he knowledge about training, he’s compassionate and encouraging with his clients. When I started training with Shaun I hadn’t exercised in over a year. I was very sedentary and had gained a lot of weight. I didn’t want to work out at a gym with a lot of people. I've been training with Shaun for a few months and I have nothing but great things to say about him.
Not only is Shaun extremely professional, knowledgeable and highly skillfully but he is also very passionate about fitness which is why I can honestly say I guarantee you will not find someone like Shaun.
Prior to training with Shaun, I had been struggling with really bad knee pain to the point that I thought I had to completely stop working out, however as soon as I started training with Shaun, my knee pain completely disappeared to the point that I have been able to train intensive leg day without any problems. Shaun definitely knows what he is doing, I've been training with different people before but I've never trained with someone as capable, talented and brilliant like Shaun. He cares and listens and makes sure you are comfortable and are enjoying every training session.
Training at Enhancement Fitness has been very rewarding not only fitness wise but also my health overall has improved, I can already see a huge difference in strength, form and even physique compared to when i first started training, the results speak for themselves.
I highly recommend Enhancement Fitness, I usually dont write reviews but training with Shaun is life changing. I'm so grateful because he is truly inspirational and motivational. He makes sure you come out of the training room with confidence, and that just goes to show how much he cares.
Lastly, even if you know nothing about fitness, or are a begginer like I was, dont be discouraged, Shaun is extremely competent as a personal trainer and trust that he will go above and beyond so you can meet your fitness goals.
Just to give you an example, I have ADHD and it's difficult for me to understand forms or keep them throughout or even remember it the next days, he is kind, patient and understanding so training so he carers to everyone's needs, and this is why I am extremely satisfied with his training capabilities, every session session is so so worth it!!!

I have been working with Shaun for a few months. I was not at all sure what to expect from a personal trainer but I knew I was not interested in a group setting atmosphere that was not tailored to my goals. Shaun is firm but kind and always encourages me to “step out of my comfort zone”. As a result, I have lost 10% of my body weight and my overall health has greatly improved. I had been searching for several months to find someone to help with my fitness goals. I found a lot of people that said they could help, but when I found Shaun, he took the time to understand what I was actually looking to accomplish. In our first meeting together, he asked a lot of questions about what I was looking to accomplish but also dug in deeper to understand the challenges that I faced in the past.

Enhancement fitness is GREAT! I have grown so much in the 18 months I've been working with Shaun. He does an awesome job working with his clients, listening to their goals and working with them to formulate a personalized plan.
