I started Farrell’s July 13th I was in a very dark place and needed that motivation again I loved Farrell’s at first I also have in the past loved Farrell’s but this time around hasn’t been good to me so on week 7 CHRIS NIMS snatched a punching bag out of my hand and semi tossed it on the floor and gave me a dirty look as if looks can kill like I was an inconvenient or was not moving fast enough for him he drill sergeant’s me in kick boxing moves it’s like he basically talks down on me and is very rude when instructs me to do something he talks to me like I am retarded or slow or dum like I don’t have a brain. when he gives me direct movements to do he makes me feel uncomfortable and not motivated to be at Farrell’s anymore I have missed a week because I am scared to come back to Farrell’s and worried about being mistreated again he completely ruins, my energy when he instructs the class I have. 3 weeks left for the 10 week challenge I also have reported this incident to a few other Instructors as well and expressed my feelings and concerns about how I am being treated in the class by Chris nims there is only one instructor there that I will miss and I loved and that helped me through work out class and that is HANNAH she is amazing but unfortunately I don’t never want to come back to Farrell’s I do want a refund or a prorated amount back nobody should go through what I went through and nobody is perfect either everyone struggles and lack somewhere this class was so important to me in fact it made me cry because he ran me away my advice to Farrells if you are instructing a class make your peers or students feel comfortable and loved so they will keep coming it is free to be nice it is free to show respect life is short everyone has a purpose to be at Farrell’s so make your students feel welcomed

Absolutely love the team and atmosphere. I was hesitant to start the program because of health issues. I’m glad I did as the team does try to push you to your max but make sure you know your limit. If it weren’t for this program and the people here I wouldn’t feel the way I do today!! This program has/is changing my life for the better.

Buyer beware, the manager Chris Nims is a bad instructor. Avoid this location and look into going to the others in town before thinking about going here. The rest of the staff is nice but he is impatient, rude, disrespectful, and childish. He acts like a high-school gym teacher instead of a trainer and doesn’t know how to motivate the people he is training. It’s disgusting to say the least.
He goes too fast when explaining nutrition or work out routines, he doesn’t respect that everyone is at different healths when they walk in, and he doesn’t enjoy when people talk a bit during their workout. If you are doing something he doesn’t like, he will publicly be disrespectful to you and treat you like a child. Not only that but if you want a refund you need to ask him so if he doesn’t like you then there is a good chance you won’t be refunded. This is what happened to my mother and sister-in-law.

Just beware. The company is good and people go to change their life. When you start going to a gym or trainer it can be difficult, especially if this is your first time ever or in a while. Bringing a friend or family member can help you get into it slowly and still have fun during the workouts. Chris is a poor example of a trainer and if you actually want to better your health and get property motivated then go to another location. Don’t waste money and time on a guy like that.

I joined this program on a whim. I wasn't sure what to expect. I have tried working out in the past and have never stuck with it. I made it through my 10 weeks with perfect attendance and immediately signed up for another year. Ferrells is an upbeat and encouraging environment that pushes you to stay at your level 10. It will change your life. There is one down side, you will have to get a new wardrobe when your close start getting to big. Take the challange and see what happens!

After 8 years with FXB I am still impressed with what a great fitness program Farrell’s offers. A challenging workout that is very intense for 45 minutes it's also kept simple enough to fit very well into your busy lifestyle. Alternating cardio kickboxing and strength resistance training, two of the 3 key parts to this program. The third being fueling your body with better nutrition, I’ve never really felt like I’m on a diet, it is all about making good food choices. And the people are great, it’s is a big support group, a very positive part of my day!

Wow, what can I say that will make you want to come to a class? That it is a life changing experience that is good for you? The kickboxing is my favorite part of the workout, but the resistance band training on the other days is a great way to build muscle using the body as resistance rather than lifting weights in a regular gym. The positive atmosphere is great and everyone pushes and encourages each other to reach their individual limits. Great place to workout with a fun crowd and high energy classes for only 45 minutes a day. Results will come if the work is out toward it.

So thankful everyday that I decided to sign up for the 10 week challenge and then continue on as a FIT member at Farrell’s Edgewood Rd location! An amazing, supportive community of hard working people help make it my favorite place to work out. I love coming to Farrell’s! It literally changed my life. Before, I would do 5k races and I would have to jog , walk, jog , walk but after being at Farrells for 6 months, I did a 5K and ran the entire time and passed people and finished w a great race time. Come In , Sign Up and give it your level 10 everyday, and you cant help but to have great results. The energy and attitude in these classes is fantastic. It makes working out fun, and competitive. It's the best place to get a great workout. I've been going to Farrell's since early April of last year and it turned out to be the best thing I could have done for myself. The only do you get a great workout I also to get to have some fun and you get to meet cool people also.
