I used to really enjoy the gym, the machines are okay, some of them break easily. The vibes are usually great. Only downfall is how unclean the locker rooms/bathrooms have become. Unfortunately the bathrooms are not clean anymore, they used to be though, not sure what happened and why it’s no longer a clean space.

Being able to get the day/week passes or memberships online make it easy to go anytime. Just have to download the app required.

The guy at the front desk was extremely nice and knew a lot about the company which was nice. Wasn’t just trying to push a membership across.

This is a Bodybuilding gym. You can buy your day pass online and get 24/7 access with the app. $20 but it is worth it.
There’s some great things here. Posing room is nice, top tier lighting all around. 3 treadmills, 2 step mills. 99% of the equipment is all one brand. This is good but can be a con of you don’t like the mechanics or tension consistency. All the equipment works. Great matching plates. Enough equipment during peak hours to not have waits for machines. It is sort of “influencer” type, as in, lots of tripods set up, but it is whats IN , at the moment. For the area, this is the best you can get.
Cons:
- Men’s locker room, small, not organized great. 3 people in there and it’s packed.
- minimal cleaning resources for equipment
- no staff/ or 1 staff

This gym has really good music and the aesthetics look amazing — it gives you such a good vibe to just come in and grind out your workout. I love that it’s open 24/7 because there’s nothing better than coming in late at night when no one’s around and just putting in the work.

I'd rate this gym at 2.5 stars but since that's not an option it's 3 stars. When I got there there was no one at the desk so to get in you have to fill out a form online and download and app. The locker room is tiny and dirty, showers are filthy, waited 3 min for the water to turn hot but it never did. As far as the weight room they have some unique equipment which is cool but then they are lacking in the standard things that every gym must have. Only one set of dumbbells for each weight, big problem when people want to use same weights. Overall this gym would be alright in a tiny rural town but not in a city the size of Des Moines.

The gym was hyped too much. I took advantage of their free month and was enjoying the gym for most of it. There isn't much ammendmentitys besides free towels, suanna, and posing room. I later felt the price was not as good compared to what I was getting in small space, and machines were ok, some unique machines that I never used as it did not work well for my body.

You can not cancel online. You must be in person, oh well, but once I was there, I didn't see anything about canceling immediately and owning 60 months due. So I had to pay over 130 for not even using the gym. I emailed them and never got a response. Very poor magement.

This place is great! I’ve tried many gyms in Des Moines, and this is by far my favorite. New equipment, great lighting, the infrared sauna is amazing, and it’s never overly crowded. The gym is home to people who are serious about fitness, and you do not get the children who mess around; so gym etiquette is great here! It goes without saying I live by other gyms in the downtown area and chose to come here for a reason 20 minutes away. The only bit I would change is the flat benches having an adjustable rack as it sits up too high. Though the gym already announced they are working to procure those. Would recommend giving this a shot it’s worth the above average price you pay!

I've been using this gym for a few months now and have gone enough times to give an honest review. So first I'll start with the bad. First off you pay 75 dollars a month for a membership. With that membership you get no guest pass, if you want to bring a guest it'll cost you 20 dollars everytime. For 75 dollars you should be getting a membership with a guest pass and one of those sub par ff t shirts they have on display since marketing and grabbing cash seems to be the main focus with this gym. You get access to a small gym that's over run and overcrowded with teenagers, broccoli heads, and fake "influencers" or should I say influencer wannabes. You feel like you're in a photo shoot studio or on set instead of a gym. The other night I literally could not walk 5 feet in any direction without some snob with a tripod or a professional photo rig recording or snapping pictures with the flash. These people set their equipment up in the walkways and make it difficult to maneuver equipment around for 1 and 2 it's extremely deterring to get a workout in when they are on or near every piece of equipment that you need to use. Do these people even workout? I watched some dude set his camera up for 20 mins, do one set on a machine then move to another. I don't know what's worse gym etiquette at this point, the endless supply of people filming or the gym goers at planet fitness playing clash of clans on the smith machines. This gym used to have an old format but someone had a genius idea of a "leg day lair" and moved every piece of leg equipment to the back room, the only real room where it seemed like you could get some privacy from all the creeps with cameras. The old format was WAAAY better. Some machines are awesome but the majority are boasted to be "flex factory exclusive" but they're just cheap Japanese manufactured pieces of junk with ff sticker slapped on. The combo cable machine that was just put in leaked grease all over the floor it's first week after being installed. The pins always have a catch when trying to adjust weight settings. Half the squat machines are just garbage and feel cheap. The owner can't seem to find anyone to change light bulbs in the back, alot of them are dim or have gone out. The posing room is open for anyone to come in and see. No adjustable dim settings and the light is way too white. Don't even get me started on the trash music that they play either. It's either mumble rap or dad rock. I'm supposed to feel like I'm in a gym not a trap house whippin up a brick or in a backyard chuggin beers in some jean shorts. No bass music, no metal, is it too much to ask for a rockbot operated music selection? You don't get a keycard. You have to use a Bluetooth controlled app to gain access and if it doesn't work you're essentially s.o.l because these people aren't smart enough to have a phone number to provide real customer service. Everything is done via email or in person. My app failed 6 times the other night when trying to get in. The have a sauna set up but if yoi don't like sitting in a cramped box with a bunch of Chad's with the sweet aroma of dirty feet in the air then it's definitely not for you. The pros of this gym are quite simple however, nice black aesthetic with what feels to be large and quality carbon fiber benches, Bright white hex lighting for the main part of the gym, lots of free weights, padded deadlift platforms, a dedicated hip thrust bench, a hacksquat machine, it's 24/7, and if you're lucky to not be in their with all the wannabe influences you'll hardly have to wait on equipment. This place runs sales on memberships as well, I caught my membership on sale because there is not a chance that I would ever outright pay 75 dollars for a gym membership ever. This place also beats planet fitness over crowded status as well.

This place was so hyped up that I went ahead and signed up with the free month promo at the end of June. July was supposed to be free and I was charged at the end of July for August dues then again at the end of August for Septembers dues. The equipment is less then stellar. The cable machines have a catch in it and honestly the equipment is just cheap for $75 bucks a months to be packed in with a bunch of teenagers. I decided this is not worth the $$ or drive in so I canceled at the end of July after that first payment came out. I was told I’d have another payment come out and have access to the gym till the 22nd of September. Fast forward to September I get charged another monthly fee. So far now I’ve made 3 payments. I emailed them with no response so I went into the gym because there’s no phone number and the guy working the front desk said he doesn’t know anything because he just started. Emailed again to finally get an answer that they want a 60 day notice and that my membership was canceled and unable to use the gym anymore even though I just paid for another months dues! That first month was NOT free!! Completely fraudulent. I emailed back twice now asked for an explanation with zero response. I’d think twice about signing up with this place because if you need to cancel you’re screwed because these people will try and get as much $$ out of you as they can. It’s why they have no phone number and have people working there that “know nothing “ lesson learned never again!
