I'm leaving a one-star review until I can get an issue resolved. I spoke with the lady on the phone in regards to a message I got about having my 10-year-old daughter in the gym. It was to my knowledge when I looked it up online that children were allowed in the gym as long as they were accompanied by adult supervision. When I called to get the rundown on the policy I was ridiculed the whole time on the phone and I responded with the same energy. I wasn't giving a solution. I was told what I could do but not how I go about doing it. That's not the way situation should be handled. It very much gave me the vibe that they didn't want my daughter in there at all. I haven't seen very many kids in there already. I understand that some people may not agree with children being in the gym. However, I'm a single father that has his daughter full time. I think that kids and parents in the gym should be actually something that's encouraged considering the obesity and issues with people not being healthy today. That's just my personal opinion. I hope somebody sees this of ownership. It gives me a call and we can resolve the situation. If you do not want me to attend your Jamie that's fine, but I'm not going to pay for a yearly subscription and not be able to use it

Been going to the ones in Cedar Rapids for about 5 years now. Was a great place to use equipment but also have space for your workouts. Very clean and isn't too crowded. Just recently they have gotten some new equipment that takes up the whole extra space leaving not a lot of room for you to do workouts that don't include machines. A little disappointing.

I've been coming to this gym for years. It is a great facility with everything you could ever need, even a sauna! The staff are always so friendly and greet you with a smile. Chad best PT, he helps me with bad knee + all weak and strong muscle groups. Chad writes down what we do and amounts after each pt to help me know what else work on until next pt.
Plan to keep do one Mon a month 50min PT with chad for years.
Because of him I eat better diet/drink more water, self discipline and not on pain meds or knee brace like in past.
Dr and family can tell chad helping tons of ways in my life. means a lot to have Chad as my PT. ETC.

I joined the iGym back in December 2018. I have gone nearly every day. The facility is nice. Many machines for every workout. I never have to wait for a machine to use it. I like how large the space is. The staff is amazing. They are so friendly, especially Rachel. I'm so happy I joined the iGym. I like it much better than my last one. I find myself missing going to the iGym when I am unable to go. It's a great experience going to the iGym when my last gym didn't make me feel so good. I highly recommend the iGym.

My wife and I signed up for memberships at iGYM 4 years ago and have loved it ever since. They have any free weight or machine you could want for a weight training workout and plenty of cardio equipment too. They also have a huge group fitness room which is great for taking classes or just extra floor space to do stretching, push ups, core, etc. Our absolute favorite part is the cleanliness of the gym and the friendliness of the staff. I've had an igym membership for 6 years now and would recommend it to anyone looking for a fitness gym. The facility has something for everyone - variety of different cardio machines and weight lifting equipment that tailor to all levels (individual muscle machines, dumbbells, 2 weight racks, etc). I went through some knee rehab last year and they also had the tools I needed to do those daily excercises. The sanitary towels are changed out often and it's kept clean. They make it affordable and definitely not as crowded as Planet Fitness!

Extremely crowded from 4-8 PM and some of the equipment (machines) are rusty. Having to wait on machines is no good especially when I have limited time to be at the gym. Very limited benches and space as well. The equipment could use some care and machines do need some maintenance. I’m still wanting to give them a shot but chances are I’ll either cancel and go to a bigger gym or try somewhere else.

I would give them negative stars if I could. If you want some advice stay away from this gym and the corrupt financial institution they use to withdrawal money out of your bank account. Even after following their absurdly difficult protocol to the letter to cancel my membership they still took out the next years $45 dollar "membership fee". After disputing it with my bank, and having all of the evidence in emails and bank records backing my claim, they still told my bank they weren't giving the money back. I was told I would have to call them and dispute it. I don't need to point out the obvious ridiculousness of that statement. For the price the gym was okay at best. But unless you are prepared to be an igym member for life, whether you want to or not, I wouldn't bother with them. There are plenty of other gyms around town that you can call and actually talk to someone if you need to, and also use legitimate financial institutions to handle their membership fees. Don't waste your time and money with this gym.
