I joined Iron & Oars in January, and after just four months, I’m down 22 pounds and 8% body fat! I’ve gained confidence, built muscle, made health and fitness a real priority, and have so much more energy. The combination of rowing and strength training is perfect.

When I started my first 50-day challenge, I was dealing with knee pain. Jen and the team were amazing in supporting me through it, encouraging me to keep doing the work but modifying or resting when needed. Now, four months later, I have zero pain in my knee!

Jen, the owner, and all the coaches are incredibly supportive while also pushing me to work hard and stay focused on my goals. I’m currently in the middle of my second challenge, and the accountability and weekly check-ins have been invaluable in keeping me on track.

I’m so happy with the progress I’ve made—now it’s time to shop for new summer clothes! Highly recommend this place to anyone looking to get stronger, healthier, and feel amazing!

I’m joined a little over a month ago. I’ve typically been a bit hesitant of group workouts I’ve done other places. Love the group of instructors and the variety of workouts here. I leave worn out but energized. They always offer modifications when you need them. The combination of cardio, rowing and strength works really well for me. Glad we tried it and excited to improve my general strength and health.

Iron and Oars changed my life. In less than one year, I lost 72 pounds and I couldn’t have done it without the great workouts and incredible staff at Iron and Oars. The workouts change every day so that you aren’t focusing on just one area of the body. The people that work there are so friendly and always willing to help you out with any questions you may have along the way. Plus, the other clients that do the workouts are so welcoming and friendly. I am forever grateful to Iron and Oars and the amazing people that work there.

Joining Iron & Oars has been one of the best decisions I’ve made this year! The instructors are all fabulous. They bring fun and intensity to each workout and I always leave feeling challenged, happy, and SWEATY! As a new mom wanting to get back into shape postpartum, I’ve seen wonderful results in only a few months. Happy to be part of this great group and family!

Rowing at Iron & Oars is so much fun! I love that the first class is free so I could talk my mom into checking it out. The punchcard option is really great so I can take classes with no commitment. Lori S. is a great instructor!

I’ve been a member of Iron & Oars for 2+ years now and love this program. I&O has changed my life for the better — I’m stronger, healthier and happier than I have been in years. Every single workout is unique so you never complete the same routine over and over. They challenge you physically but at the same time will help accommodate any personal needs. The coaches are knowledgeable in the area of fitness and nutrition, and are very approachable with questions. Life changing!

I've been to other exercise classes and usually went once and said 'nope, not for me.' But this place turned out to be different.
My wife, who has been going for over a year now, gifted me a month trial and so I went reluctantly. I ended up going 13 times this month. I think the instructors are great and very supportive. They give you the workout plan and give 'easier' options and you take control over how hard you wanna go. I do think Jen must be part Jedi. I've gone in thinking I'll just take it easy and the next thing I know I'm pushing for a new PR (personal record) and rowing as if I'm in the movie 'Jaws.' I must also add that within my month, I've lost 8 lbs. I'm stronger, leaner and 10 push ups on the finisher are nothing now. So if you're one of those negative nelly's out there, trust me when I say give it a try. Whatcha got to lose. Oh yah....weight.

I love this place so much! It has the perfect mix of great instructors, a welcoming community of people, and an amazing workout every single time. I’ve never went to classes like this before and I was really apprehensive to go workout in public, but I decided to give it a try. Now I look forward to going 5 times a week. 100% recommend!!

The owner-Jen, Instructors and all members will make you feel right at home. Give it some time, and you will feel like you completely belong. The workouts tackle every muscle group and rowing will soon become your favorite cardio. Say yes to the trial workouts! You will not regret this decision! I’ve been coming for over a year and no plans of leaving anytime soon. Hope to see you on a rower!

Iron and oars has taught me the importance of eating healthy and working out. The staff is very friendly and genuinely care about each and every one of their clients. They take the time to show you everything that you need to know before each workout. Every day is a new workout. You never have to worry about it getting repetitive. I have tried several gyms and this by far has been the best second family I could ask for.

Iron and Oars has exceeded all my expectations. I just wish I would’ve joined sooner. It is by far the best gym I’ve been part of. Jen, the owner is amazing and so knowledgeable. The instructors are all great and each workout is different. The community of people are so welcoming of all activity levels. They offer plenty of modifications. They also offer nutrition help. This has been good for me as it is low impact so it feels sustainable to prevent injuries. I highly recommend Iron and Oars!

I have never been a group exercise person. I enjoyed running/walking by myself…however that approach doesn’t always have accountability. In January 2023 I made a commitment to put me 1st by booking the 6am class. Just did measurements and for the 1st time my arms and legs are the same in inches. Balanced workouts for both sides of the body. I look forward to our 2024 of fitness….definitely give this a try!

Iron & Oars is not just another workout studio. After a workout you don’t just want to come again, you want to make it a permanent part of your lifestyle & long-term goals. I thought I would just “try” this studio with a friend a couple years ago (thank you Rachel!!) and have not left since. It is an amazing entire body workout, and the low impact makes it possible to do at any stage in your life. The owner and instructors are not just teaching classes they are truly doing what they were meant to do in life. They are interested in you, your progress and bettering your life on many levels. Whatever your personal goals I think you will find a fit here. I can’t recommend this studio enough. Give it a try, I think you will see it is a different experience than just going through the motions. We will save you a rower! See you soon!

Who would have thought rowing could be so much fun AND an amazing workout???! Iron and Oars has introduced me to an unexpected type of cardio, where the classes are laced with strength training and the time flies by. Proper form and technique are emphasized by all the awesome trainers so I’m never concerned about getting injured. Every class is different and each month there’s a new goal to keep you motivated. A huge bonus is that it’s so reasonable priced. Check it out, first class is free!!

A workout at Iron and Oars is unlike any other workout you will experience. After working out at home for years I was hesitant to workout in a group setting. From the moment I stepped thru the doors I was welcomed by the entire “crew” of trainers and rowers. Not only has rowing been great for my cardio endurance but the mix of stretching, strength training and HIIT has helped me feel strong in all areas of my personal fitness.

I originally joined Iron and Oars because I was ready to get back to working out post baby. I'd never really rowed before though, so I was a little scared to join. I'm so glad I did though! All the trainers are so helpful and have great energy and each class is totally different, which keeps me on my toes. I would totally recommend this gym for all fitness levels!

Amazing!! So happy I found this place. I have really bad knees. My Dr told me to find a workout that would build the strength in my legs without putting pressure on my knees, found it! I have only been here for 2 months right away I noticed a huge improvement, all of the coaches are Amazing 👏 they know I have knee issues so they will give me a modified exercise. I started out with one day a week and kept uping the days I'm now at 5 days a week, not only are my knees feeling better but mentally I feel better starting to loose the weight I put on because of my knees. So Happy 😊

A few months ago I attended my first class at Iron and Oars with a friend. I was terribly out of shape and very nervous to give this a try but I knew I had to make a lifestyle change. I’m happy to say I’ve just completed my 75th class! You can work at your own pace with no pressure to perform. The instructors are all amazing and truly care about your health. They are excellent at modifying exercises if needed. Each class is different so you never get bored! I’ve dropped several pounds along the way but more importantly I feel stronger, have more endurance, sleep better and my mood is better! Do yourself a favor and check it out!! You won’t regret it!
