Ninja U in Cedar Falls, Iowa, rocks!!! From the couse to the people that work here it is an excellent experience for all. Very will ran and managed. Fun for all ages. They have a mini Ninja course/play are for those 5 and under. The Ninja U training for kids is awesome! The instructors are great. The kids have so much fun and get excellent training. It is an inexpensive way for kids to burn off some energy, get fit and learn some skills. Book your child's birthday party here. An upstairs loft area for you party and full gym access for all is included. Stop in and give these folks a try. Best indoor activity in the Cedar Valley. UPDATE: Tonight was a super fun kids Ninja Competition. What a blast watching the kids compete, many for the first time. Super staff made the event safe and fun for all! Don't go on a day they're having classes, the older kids kept getting kicked off the equipment unfortunately. The younger ones had alot of fun in the 5 and under zone though

This place is a wonderful alternative to weight training gyms for youth up to physically able adults. Our kids have gained a lot of upper body strength, confidence, and they are self driven to defeat a range of obstacles. The trained staff that work here are so encouraging to everyone and motivating in the community as they market their "product" at local events. Thank you Scott and staff for being so positive!
This place is also accommodating to kids' birthday parties.

Great place for the whole family! Our kids have been taking lessons here, the coaches are encouraging, kind, and positive. The other kids are too, it's a great atmosphere. I love that the younger siblings can play when older kids are having lessons as well. There is a variety of physical challenges, which they change from time to time. It has been fun to see my kids improve, and be encouraged. They say, "hard work pays off" at the end of the lessons. They keep track of milestones for the kids, so the kids can see where they improve through practice. Wonderful life lesson. There are also little touches, like clean bathrooms, water bottle refill station, and nice tissues in the waiting area. I highly recommend it.

Lotd of challenging obstacles. Even warp walls. This place has it all. Even guest wifi. They even have an area for little ones whilst their siblings play on the big obstacles. They also have rentable party room.

My 9 year old just attended a competition at Ninja U in Cedar Falls. He was extra nervous for this competition because not only did he not have any of his coaches from our home gym attending, but he didn't even have a parent with him; he had traveled from near Chicago with a teammate's family to compete, and he didn't know anyone else there. I was shocked to see, when watching the live stream from the competition, that there was a coach walking the course with him on each of his runs, coaching him every step of the way just as if he was their own. I could hear several other people in the background cheering for him by name and shouting out tips and encouragement as well. All I can say is WOW. The Ninja U staff showed a level of sportsmanship, kindness, and inclusion that you rarely get to see, especially in competitive sports. I wish we lived closer to be able to come here more often, but we will definitely be making a point to try to make it to more competitions here in the future. Thank you for being kind humans and modeling the best way to treat other people for all of the kids there!

Took my youngest here yesterday for the first time and I was very impressed. Staff was super friendly and helpful. The facility was very clean. Just an all around great experience. After two hours I still had trouble getting him to leave. And if your into OCR at all like I am it’s a great place to train.

Went for competition. Paid to get in but couldn't see most of the competition since the athletes were allowed anywhere at anytime and most chose to stand in front of the spectators. Additionally, young children were allowed to play on the course too. Saw young kids run in front of competitors on the course several times.

Ninja U is quite the cool place. We were immediately greeted when we entered. The guy running the place was very motivated and positive. He gave us a brief tour and gave tips when asked.

My kids felt welcome and motivates to tackle all the obstacles. The gym is full of equipment ranging from beginner to expert. Everything is clean and in good working order.

"Top 10 for sure!" was the phrase that my son uttered when we left Ninja U. We have been to a number of Ninja gyms across the country, however BOTH Ninja U facilities (Cedar Falls and Ankeny) are two of the CLEANEST, welcoming, and attentive places we have ever visited. For instance, Tom was quick to call us after my son forgot his chalk bag as we were on our way back to Chicago. We'll be sure to drop in again on our trips out west from now on!

I don't post many reviews, but I had to comment on my experience at Ninja U. My family took a group of 6 kids ranging in age from 2 to 11 to open gym at Ninja U for part of a birthday celebration. Every one of them had a blast, and we played for almost 3 hours!

There is a really nice variety of apparatus, to support various strength and skill levels... so kids of pretty much any age can find plenty to do, and adults won't get bored either! The staff are really friendly, great with kids, and are very familiar with all the equipment - and they have the fitness level to demonstrate everything, too. But don't be fooled... the staff may be able to make some of the obstacles look easy, but unless you're in better shape than I am, many are incredibly tough. Despite that, most are approachable enough to at least attempt, and I had a lot of fun even on the obstacles I totally failed (like the wingnuts). I'm sure I'll be sore tomorrow, though!
If you would rather not get in on the ninja action, there is a nice seating area right near the front desk. It's comfortable, and you can see the whole gym floor (great for keeping an eye on kids).
When we were there, there weren't very many other visitors, so it was easy to try pretty much anything at any time - but I think there is plenty of equipment to accommodate a pretty sizable group.

Had a 1st grade school field trip here! The kids loved it. Tons of challenging obstacles. Trainers/staff were very friendly, helpful with navigating the kids thu the course and giving tips to succeed. Price is very reasonable. If you want to challenge yourself this is the place to be!!!

My two young kids love this place. We spent two hours here last Saturday. The two staff members were very kind and helpful. One of them in particular was interacting a lot with my 3 year old and having fun with him. That's not an experience we can get everywhere. My toddler loved it! There is a special section for little ones with a tree swing, 4 foot warp wall, slife, and mini obstacle course. In the main area, there are all kinds of training obstacles just like the show American Ninja Warrior. If you're new to Ninja, the staff is incredibly helpful and will coach you through the obstacles. If you're a pro, the course offers plenty to entertain and challenge you.

This is an awesome and fun place! I took my daughter who is a toddler and she had so much fun. She loved the toddler area, climbed on the mats, loved the slide, loved the ropes, there was so much for her to do. I cannot recommend this place enough for kids & adults of all ages.
