Very nice and well kept course. I play a lot of golf in a lot of different places; Palmer Hills was top notch! Great price, pro-shop and I would definitely play this course again! 9/10. Only reason no 10, was pace of play was a little slow but nothing too crazy. Great job Palmer Hills!

The two stars are for the course itself. The course was a nice track, with solid conditions, for $38 on a Saturday.

However, the bad side is that the pace of play was atrocious. I know it’s public golf, but when there are six (yes, six) groups on one hole, they should probably do something about it. The best part is a course ranger drove by all of the groups on the hole, and he didn’t say nor address it at all lol. It took 45 minutes to play two holes!

Again, nice course, but probably the worst pace I’ve ever dealt with unfortunately.

The golf course is in very good shape and the grounds crew has continued to take care of this course the past several years while finding ways to continue to improve the condition. Drove in from Nashville, TN and decided to give this golf course a try. I’m so glad that I did. This course was immaculate and the staff were super friendly. You cannot find courses this nice at the price range to play 18 holes with a cart in the Nashville area. Fairways were perfect and the rough added a good challenge to the course. I only wish that I lived closer to golf this every weekend. Quad Cities, you have a hidden gym here.

Palmer Golf Course is undoubtedly one of the best courses in the Quad Cities area. It offers a challenging layout with firm, fast greens and well-maintained fairways. The second cuts are on the deeper side, adding to the challenge for players. Recently, they upgraded their carts to smart carts with GPS, which is a fantastic addition. If the course has a “Cart Path Only” rule in effect, the GPS ensures compliance by requiring you to back up and return to the designated path—a feature that certainly helps maintain the course.
When using the Birdies app alongside the cart GPS, I noticed about a 20-yard discrepancy between the two, which can be a bit confusing. A big bucket of range balls costs $12, but I’m personally not a huge fan of the range due to how the markers are set up—it could use some improvement. On the positive side, the course appears to have excellent lessons, as the instructors are consistently busy, which speaks to the quality of their teaching.
If you're looking for a quick round, this might not be the best choice, as the course tends to get congested. However, for those willing to invest the time, Palmer Golf Course delivers a rewarding experience. It's a fantastic option for golfers who are up for a challenge and enjoy top-notch conditions.

Really good course thats not going to over power any golfer. Greens are pretty quick, especially above the hole. Fun all around track. Only downside is the lack of restrooms on the course and mats-only driving range. The walk from 12-13 is also a big ridiculous.

My parents have golfed at Palmer Hills in the past. Recently my mom was driving past the golf course and her windshield was damaged by an errant golf ball. She approached the management asking for help identifying the golfer to exchange insurance information and they refused to help her in any capacity. I would not recommend golfing here, they do not have have any strong values or will to help the community.

Was not a great experience. Paid for 4 players, 2 carts. We’ve all played before. People behind us were a group of 2 and we let them play ahead. Got reprimanded for playing too slow. The man came up to us and said “ladies need to take a lesson and speed it up” we were pretty confused as it didn’t seem like we were playing slow or the group behind us was coming up on us. We just skipped on playing and let the 2 boys play… ended up waiting at multiple holes. Wasted payment for 2 players.

Moderately difficult course. Well maintained greens (fast). Loved the slopes on certain holes. Staff treated me with respect. Would love to check out the putt putt practice course (was empty) and range looked busy! Fair price for such a nice course. Courtesy water stations set on the course is a very nice touch!

Single most unwelcoming experiences I’ve ever had on a golf course. Got reprimanded for showing up 5min early Instead of 15min early for a tee time. And then got called crazy by one of the staff members for bringing our daughter in the cart with us. I thought golf was supposed to be family friendly. We got a refund and left. We will not be back. If I could give zero stars I would.

Sat on deck outside. Very nice. I ordered the Hummus Wrap with coleslaw. Wrap was ok, but coleslaw tasted old, not much bright fresh flavor! It was a windy day. The empty table and umbrella next to me turned over and umbrella flew right at me, missing me only because I put my hand up and deflected it. Nothing to recommend me to return.

The golf carts are overly sensitive to where you are in relation to the green and hazards, and shut off and only let you go in reverse. It is very frustrating and takes away from the round and is unnecessary as well

Really nice course. Clean, well maintained, and super nice T-markers, however, BUSY. You might be paired up with other golfers though. The staff was very curtious.
Long yardage with a few dog-legs. Not easy by all means. Clean carts. There are 3 to 4 putting courses designated strictly for putting. Driving range. Snack hut. A cooler cart came around every 15mins.. The only thing I disliked was that it was so crowded and the grill was closed.

We went here for a graduation party and had a great time. The golf course was so green and well groomed. The place was very busy but everyone was having a great time. The staff was nice and polite. If looking for a place to have a party Palmer Hills should be considered as a great place for hosting. We'll be back. Highly recommend visiting.

Played today, Memorial Day, as a 3 player group. Behind a foursome that was at least a hole behind all day long. No Marshall on the course at all. Saw beverage cart on hole 2 and then not again the rest of the dayPlayed at 2 other public courses this weekend. Both were much better managed than Palmer Hills. Need to re-evaluate if you are planning to play here.

Always enjoy Palmer on a Saturday morning especially in the Fall. I will say they do have a huge pot hole on the back of hole 2 that was unexpected and rough for the golf cart. As well as, the restroom on the front nine being over ran by gnats could use a good clean before I get back out there in the next couple of weeks. Other than that, love to see all the new amenities and work the Palmer team has been doing over the last year or so.

This is the worst place I have ever played golf and I have played at quite a few courses in and out of the quad cities. The course itself is very nice but the management is terrible. We teed off at 6:25 am, there were not many people there, they forced us to play with another twosome we did not know (during covid!). This ruined the whole game for me, they were far better than us and the intimidation was horrible. Also, someone with the course (I assume the owner) was absolutely plastered drunk at 7 am following us around harassing us. Aside from this all it was more expensive than several TPC courses I have played. Stay far away from this one.

Palmer grill is more than hot dogs chips. I'm there because of the golf but several of my buddies and myself have taken 45 minutes on the turn(thats us finishing the front 9, eating, and finishing and the back 9) and we're always happy with their broad menu. Even if you are not golfing, stop in.
