A fantastic workout that I can modify to meet my body where it's at on a given day and still get results. I have been able to stick with a route for 3 years now for the first time in my adult life. I love the instructors, the community -- the women of Pure Barre, in general. It's fun and everything about the experience makes me want to keep coming back. I can honestly say that I don't see a time in my future where I am not a PB Ankeny member.

I love how welcoming the space and instructors have been! Its been so nice to have a workout that really meets you where you're at. Also really appreciated the first 30 day session of unlimited classes to try things out and that membership/sales did not feel pushy at all! Great experience so far!

Pure Barre has been a God Send in my life. I have just the right amount of activity so that I am not stronger, putting on muscle, managing hormones more efficiently and NOT burning out. But the thing that I appreciate the most (besides the loving and knowledgeable staff) is the thé community I have found seeing the same women and the friendships that have been established. I feel like the Ankeny studio feeds my heart and body what is needs at this time of my life.

I absolutely LOVE Pure Barre Ankeny! It is the best workout I can think of for my aging body. I’ve grown so much in balance, strength and coordination. The instructors are top-notch and the classes are so much fun- they fly by so quickly! I’d encourage anyone to check it- I think you’ll be hooked!!

The Ankeny Pure Barre studio is run by Katie, a business owner who is passionate about empowering women and building a strong community of support for members. The instructor turnover is very low, and of the highest quality. I am almost at the 1,400 class attendance mark...and the class programming is still fresh, and continues to challenge me.

I’ve been in the fitness industry for over 25 years and these are THE BEST classes in Ankeny. They are a bit pricey BUT it’s well worth the price because they make sure you are doing everything correct as far as form. I’ve taken classes before and needed either physical therapy or chiro afterwards. These classes will get you in shape without injury! I’ve lost 10 pounds in 40 days and feel great and my clothes are fitting much better! Katie - the owner is FABULOUS! Instructors are amazing and extremely helpful. Anyway, take the plunge, and join! You won’t regret it!

A very professional group of coaches who make you feel comfortable regardless of whether you are a beginner or experienced. A criticism I had of other gym memberships or classes I had attended in the past was the lack of attention the coaches gave to correcting form and technique. I regularly dealt with knee/hip/foot injuries from running or other activities. The coaches at Pure Barre do an awesome job of coaching the entire room. I leave every class feeling confident and accomplished.

Based on my experience, you will probably feel changes in your body within the first week and begin to really see it after the first month with regular attendance.

Love this place and the people! As a mom of two I needed a place to get in shape and take a mental break from the daily grind to really focus on myself- I found it! I’ve never worked out this consistently- I’m over a year into Pure Barre in Ankeny and still can’t get enough. Katie has built an absolutely gem here in Ankeny and her entire team is awesome. Can’t recommend enough!
