I would not recommend this club to anyone after signing a cancellation form in person (paper copy) a few months ago, that then got lost (albeit probably not intentionally), and then they proceeded to continue to charge me and when I disputed the charges they sent my account to collections in a measly 3 days. I see I’m not alone in them losing paperwork. If I could tag corporate I would. Edited - it’s interesting you would respond here so the public can see but I haven’t received any direct contact as of June 24.

Another edit: July 7, this business still has not reached out with any personal contact to me directly. What you see online in their response appears to only be for public perception and publicity. Their billing company has also failed to follow up and return any calls and has left all billing decisions to the individual franchise.

I have been a member for over ten years and frequented many AF gyms. Overall, this AF in Lansing is my favorite for several reasons: 1. Clean, 2. Friendly staff, 3. Comfortable temperature (I appreciate being able to workout on my lunch break without feeling the need to take another shower due to high temperature), 4. Paper towels in restrooms, 5. Maintained equipment, 6. Music not blaring from house speakers. Great job!

After being a member at another gym for a full year I decided it was time for a change due to cost, hours available, and location. I made an appt for a quick tour at Anytime Fitness in Lansing. (Super easy process.) At first I thought it was kinda small but after seeing the layout and meeting the awesome staff I knew this was the place for me. They have the friendliest, knowledgeable and helpful staff. Equipment is all well maintained and the area is kept clean and tidy. I really like how I can go anytime day or night. Unless the gym is staffed all doors are locked. Members have a key fob and/or use the app to scan the QR code to enter. There’s tanning for an extra month rate. Contrary to popular belief they do offer group fitness. You have an opportunity to have the Volt 360 body scan which is helpful to your fitness journey in so many ways. With AF you can take advantage of the app to check busy times, track your progress, have access to workouts or coaching. There are people of all ages and the members are great! I can truly say this has been such a positive experience. I wouldn’t think of going anywhere else.

Visited this location from out of town and was in love with the size of the facility and the amount of equipment available. Spoke with the management staff later that evening and let them know they had a top notch location. Have been a member since 2020. I started with personal training with a wonderful trainer who even trained me during my pregnancy. The trainers and gym are so welcoming and friendly. I am even able to bring my 14 month old and they are willing to hold and play with him while I am training.

If you are interested in living a fit lifestyle, this is the place for you. I have found it to be a place of acceptance with a true sense of community. The trainers are the best and find ways around any injury or disability that might keep you from doing the "standard" exercise. I’ve been coming to Anytime for over 3 yrs, to include the transition of the current location. As a first time Anytime Fitness patron, could not be more impressed or pleased. Rachel and Dameion were my first impressions and they could not be any friendlier or helpful. I really appreciate that if equipment is ever broken, it is for a very short time. The bathrooms with showers are an added bonus, the place is easy to navigate, always clean, and people mind their own business if that is your preference so you can get in and out. This is a long overdue review but love the place, thanks Team Anytime!

It is super small and cramped, no rooms to go do yoga or anything in. Only one tanning bed and it's an old model. And it's 10 extra a month to use it. The showers are in the bathroom which is weird. It seems like there isn't enough showers and bathrooms for all the people. They don't even have lockers. They have cubbies.

I called to cancel my service months ago but was still charged. I requested cancellation paperwork be sent to me electronically due to limited Anytime Fitness office hours. A few months later after a few more engagements the paperwork was finally emailed to me. On the phone Ms. Rachel Darrow laughed when I voiced my concerns and requested my money back. MILITARY FAMILIES BEWARE!!!!!! All should be diligent with termination of contracts, as they “cannot locate” my paperwork. Over $600 charged wrongfully and was not offered a refund or even an apology, simply interrogated and sent more paperwork and pushed off onto “corporate”.

I signed the contract with the understanding that I had an upcoming military move and would be released with a month’s notice. The time came and I completed termination and provided paperwork. I HAVE BEEN BILLED FOR OVER A YEAR!!

For a “family owned business that cares about their reputation” they handled this very poorly. No, Rachel, I am not happy with my experience with the Anytime Fitness of Leavenworth, KS. Still, no apology.

GREAT GYM! Went under new ownership 16 months ago and the gym really took off! New Remodel, new equipment! Only 24 hour gym in town and the best deal in town. New owners are taking over this month and are EXPANDING the gym! EXCITING stuff. Get on board if you need a gym. This place is horrible. I'm assuming she was manager, but was only there for a brief time before leaving with two men. She also locked the door behind her so I couldn't get in. Unless this place changes employees, I'm never returning. Waste of my time and gas. HORRIBLE!
