BarNone is a great gym. The motto on the wall says ‘Accountability, Motivation, and Relationships’ and BarNone excels at all 3, which keep me coming back, day in and day out. The classes are varied and great paced. The trainers are wonderful and can modify any class or exercise based on individual needs. The accountability piece is such a benefit that you can’t get from big box gyms.

I have thoroughly enjoyed barnone training gym these last few months. I did their 6 week challenge back in March and it helped me to achieve my goal weight. I have loved seeing my body transform and become stronger through every workout I complete. The workouts are tough, but you leave feeling so accomplished and energized . Working with the nutritionist there has helped me maintain my weight and help to understand calories and macros tracking. Would recommend to anyone wanting to get stronger and shed some pounds.

BarNone Training is AWESOME! I absolutely love their workouts and trainers. I’ve been to a lot of different gyms over the years and this one is by far my favorite. You can tell they care about your health and are passionate about helping people achieve their health goals. I have recommended this gym to all my friends and family and highly recommend to anyone looking to lose weight, get in shape or just be healthier in general. I was able to make some major lifestyle changes because of this gym and the trainers who are excellent motivators and accountability resources! The workouts are fun yet challenging and they are always changing so you never get bored. Again HIGHLY recommend!

The Bar None Challenge has been a great experience again! I did a similar challenge 4 years ago and the process worked for me then, so I knew it would work again. What I learned this time, is to make more of the challenge criteria a lifestyle change and not just a temporary change.
The gym environment, trainers and always changing classes are my favorite. I have tried the big box gyms, Orange Theory, and at home videos, but nothing compares to BarNone. Every class is different and the trainers are knowledgeable, fun, and reliable. They hold you accountable and give you different levels for each work out.
This challenge was not only physically beneficial for me, but mentally! I have more energy, my clothes fit better, my body feels healthier inside and out, and I have learned so much about temptation and how to control it.
I am excited to continue my gym membership at BarNone, and keep working towards my fitness goals.
Thank you to all the trainers, staff and directors. I lost 17.5 lbs in 6 weeks following Bar None’s program and I’m so proud of myself. The workouts and nutrition really do work if you Follow The Dang Instructions!!

This has most of the fake and paid reviews, the guy is a crook and would charge extra amount for nothing. The spend all of money of marketing instead of improving the instrument and employees. I would not recommend it stay away from them once you sign up he’s keep emailing and messaging you which wouldn’t stop even you unsubscribe there services.

If you are looking for personalized training and nutrition guidance in a welcoming environment, this is a fantastic place. They discuss your individual goals and then customize a workout plan and nutrition guidance aimed at helping you attain your goals! They monitor your progress with body composition weigh ins every 6 weeks and keep it interesting with multiple workouts, so you don’t get bored with the same workout. To supplement personalized training there are also group classes that provide a variety of stations that target include cardio, strength and weight training. The staff is very professional and the facility is state of the art.

I think this has been the most dramatic weight-loss program I’ve ever been a part of, and Iv joined many programs in my search to fitness.
All the trainers are beyond great! So supportive, encouraging and dedicated to our success.
Love the accountability this program provides, in my opinion that’s what makes them so successful!
I appreciate the specialized workout modifications, they ensure you don’t injury yourself but work to your fullest ability.
I enjoy the lack of machines to workout, this has taught me a new way to use my own body in keeping fit.

The meal plan is very restrictive and I think they could have done a better job about preparing us for that challenge. The nutrition plan is advertised as custom but it’s not. I just think they could have been more straightforward about the nutrition plan before you sign up since it is 80% of weightless. You have to drop 20lb each challenge regardless if you reach your BMI which seems wrong to me, since the goal is to get to your BMI.

I joined BarNone 4 years ago and over 6 months I lost 50 pounds and have kept it off.
It’s unlike any other training program I have ever been a part of. Hands on interaction with several different trainers who were able to find me workarounds when I was nursing an injury or physically wasn’t able to do the work.
Nutrition was what really made the difference for me. The fact that BarNone has a in house nutrition expert is amazing.
If your serious about getting into a healthy lifestyle, I highly recommend BarNone.

Working out was always difficult for me, personally because the thought of going to a gym was so intimidating. I tried working out at home but I lacked serious motivation and failed to push myself. I heard about BarNone and their transformation program and I decided to give it a try and I am so glad I did. I love this gym and it is the only gym I have ever been able to commit to. Please don't do this.
The only reason there are this many positive reviews is because one of the stipulations for you to receive your money back or move to the next challenge is that you have to leave a positive review by the time the challenge ends. They are literally paying for reviews.
The 6 week challenge is $500. The only way you get your money back is to lose enough weight that you are considered "healthy" by BMI standards. You will just roll into the next challenge once you lose your 20lbs and will continue doing that each time until you lose all the weight that they deem necessary. If you fail, by even a fraction of a pound, you forfeit your money and your place in the next challenge.
I was one of the successful ones that lost 22lbs in 6 weeks but then I got pregnant and had to quit. I did not receive any money back. The diet is MASSIVELY restrictive and I found myself miserable. The coaches would even tell us not to drink water prior to the final weigh in if you were on the edge.
It's dangerous and I am ashamed to admit I even took part in it. NO part of this is sustainable. Take your money and invest in some home gym equipment, a gym membership, etc. Do not give in to the positive reviews.

Their #1 focus is you! Accountablility is probably what i appreciate the most. They treat you like friends not clients. I love the facility. I love the group fitness. I absolutely love this gym. Being a former collegiate runner, after graduating, I was craving a routine, coaching, and a way to stay fit. I started attending over a year ago during one of their challenges and really enjoyed the coaches, the variety of classes, and the accountability. I re-joined Barnone Jan 2020 even with this pandemic I was able to lose a total of 30 lbs . My baby will be turning 2 in Nov and getting back in shape is so important to me. I knew that Barnone was the way to go to reach my goals. I still have more to go but they have helped me get back on track and get my nutrition in order which is one of the hardest parts. The support, accountability, and amazing workouts are the best! If you want results Barnone is the way to go.

I am finishing my second week of the six week challenge. I absolutely love the trainers. The classes are really great, but they make you work! The trainers are really good at modifying the exercises to make sure you still get a great work out in if it is something you can’t do or aren’t ready for. I have only lost 3 lbs. so far, but my clothes are fitting better and I do feel stronger in the classes. I am anxious to see how the remainder of the challenge goes.

I like the way the group workouts are set up. After my 2nd week of classes my body was ready to keep going to class. The trainers are fun and helpful. Nice facility. The 6wk challenge I am currently in has been great so far. The instructors have been very helpful with inquiries and assistance with exercise modifications. I can choose the classes that best fit my schedule (they offer 5-6 a day; Mon-Fri). They provide a meal-plan based on the program you are on which is really helpful to get you on track. I am looking forward to seeing my results at the end of my challenge.

BarNone is a unique gym designed to help individuals with drastic weight loss goals. The trainers are great and the classes are both challenging and fun! I got a lot out of the program but my big complaint and the reason I won't continue at BarNone is their shady marketing techniques. They advertise as "free," but require a $600 deposit under the guise that you will get it all back. Though I asked tons of questions, Wilson never explained that the refund is ENTIRELY based on you losing the 25 lbs, which, in a 6 week period, is incredibly difficult (not to mention unhealthy) for some individuals. I'm thankful for the weight loss I experienced through this program, but I would only recommend it to those who have $600 to spare!!

Push...Push...Push, Keep it up...Keep it up...Keep it up. Every morning I wake up with no motivation to exercise. All I do is take my body to this place and then it starts...I hear these words, I get motivated and pumped to do a great workout. Trying to lose weight on my own wasn't working but as soon as I joined BarNone, the scale numbers started falling. If you want to lose weight and can't do it own your own try this place. I haven't historically had much to post publicly but over the last 6-7 weeks you have seen many, many check-in at my new gym. The likes and comments gave me the virtual warm and fuzzies but the workouts and nutrition plan through The BarNone Challenge have made me feel stronger than I have in more than a decade. I'm no stranger to a gym or fitness but these trainers and the entire staff are the most thorough and positive out there! Over the 6 week challenge they learned my weakness then corrected them and pushed me harder where I was already strong. At the end of that journey I successfully hit my goal of of losing 20 pounds (20.8 actually!) but it was the energy and muscle definition gained that blew me away! AND it was easy guys! I mean brutal at times but really I just had to show up and do what they told me...anyone can do that! The meal plan kicked my craving in about 3 days. And let me tell you, my sweet tooth raged most of the time before. I will now be a member so that I don't fall back into old habits and am so thankful that I took the leap by attending the orientation without worrying about whether or not I could or should do it. If you are stuck and motivation and will power continue to fail you like it had me than I highly recommend the 6 week challenge at BarNone! What do you have to lose except 20 pounds?

Best scary decision I've ever made! I signed on the dotted line and thought maybe I could do this, then as I started the workouts and I thought how am going to keep this up! But each time I had to drag myself out of bed to go to an early class it got better and easier and I've never felt such a sense of community and encouragement and it totally paid off and I lost the weight and am ready for the next 20!

The gym says that their goal is for YOU to reach YOUR goals. I believe this is completely true. All the trainers at Barnone Training were so helpful. They made sure to not only demonstrate the exercises but make sure I was doing them correctly during the whole class. They make adjustments to the exercises to make sure you are safe. The trainers push you and make you believe that you can accomplish anything even when you think you can't. "You never know what your body can do until you try!"
It was easy to make friends during the classes. Everyone was so kind and encouraging.
We were asked our "why?" for the reason we wanted to take on this challenge. I was pre-diabetic and had to make a lifestyle change. I have been given the tools to make changes for life. I ask you to think about "What is your why?" and ask you "What are you waiting for?"

The Camp Challenge workouts were life changing. The classes are different every time and the trainers are super encouraging. They are all modifiable depending on past injuries or abilities. Through the six week challenge it was amazing to see myself go from modifying many activities to pushing myself to add extra movements to activities as the trainers suggested. I could never have gotten to this fitness level with a DVD. The combination of trainers and the friends you make during the process really push you to a whole new level.

The Camp Challenge is EVERYTHING I needed. I went to my initial weigh in and cried for so many reasons. I cried because I looked at the scale and it was on video, I cried because I was terrified to fail again, I cried because I wanted this so badly but couldn’t believe I could do it, I cried because I said things out loud for the first time making them real, I cried because strangers genuinely listened to me and my concerns, I cried because I was someone I never wanted my daughter to be, I cried because I was weak! 6 weeks later, I went to my final weigh in and I left and I cried. I cried because I DID it, I cried because I was happier, I cried because I was 22.2 lbs lighter, I cried because for the first time as an adult I was STRONG both inside and out! I have tried so many things and never gotten results I wanted or needed…until The Camp Challenge. The workouts are great and change daily making it very hard to get bored. The meal plan is easy to follow and helps to change the mental aspect of weight. These aspects helped me reach my goal but this program is so much more than the workouts and meal plan. It is the community that is created by everyone, members and challengers alike, that makes BarNone like no other gym or program I have ever tried. This community believes in you even when you don’t believe in yourself. I cannot tell you how many times during this experience I said “I can’t” and every single time someone responded with something positive. These people listen and understand and encourage and help and guide and advise and laugh and enjoy every step of the journey with you. They are the reason The Challenge is so incredibly successful! My experience with the 6 week challenge was amazing! The trainers are fabulous and so supportive and what I have learned about fitness and nutrition is life changing. Exercise has been an important part of my life but nothing has been this effective for me until the 6 week challenge. I went into the challenge just hoping to get close to losing the 20 lbs and ended up losing 21.5 lbs. I gained muscle, energy and learned that goals aren't impossible to meet if you put your mind to it. Life changing is truly the only way to describe my experience with the 6 week challenge! Health concerns and poor body image were the driving force behind me signing up for this challenge — fibromyalgia, a knee replacement on the horizon, overweight and out of shape. In just 6 weeks, I have decreased my medication, strengthened muscles, gained energy, and lost 21 pounds. I would not have accomplished this without the knowledgeable trainers who modified my workouts when necessary, the variety of the workouts, the clean eating meal plan and the support and encouragement from everyone — trainers, fellow campers and members.
Is this challenge easy? NO! Having a supportive “community”, trainers who make the workout fun while kicking your butt and meeting amazing fellow campers who share your struggles made the 6 weeks so much easier. Is the clean eating meal plan easy? Actually, it’s not too bad! Creativity definitely helps when planning meals! I had a whole list of foods I was going to eat after I successfully completed the challenge, and the chips, sweets and French fries really haven’t seemed appealing anymore! I know my healthier eating habits are here to stay!
I am absolutely thrilled with my results and am excited to continue my journey as a member! If you are serious about improving your health, I highly recommend this program.

I am so glad I took this challenge! I was in fairly good shape about 10 years ago until I had a major health issue and gained a lot of weight over a year or so. I knew I needed to lose weight and be more active for my health, but it was difficult to find the motivation and the occasional exercise I was doing was not enough to make any real changes. With the BarNone Challenge program, I was motivated to succeed. All the components made the difference (supportive camp staff, knowledgable and helpful class instructors, weekly weigh-ins, emails and FB support groups, nutrition plan). It was so helpful to talk with other campers going through the same challenges (whether they were 20 or 60) and with the same goals. The classes were fun yet challenging no matter whether I was just starting out, or finishing my 30th class. All the moves are modified to fit individual needs and the instructors provide postural and technique corrections as needed to prevent injury and maximize benefits. I have seen so much improvement in my strength and endurance and love my new shape. As I still have more to do to reach my goals, I am continuing my workouts as a member

6 weeks ago I went into The Camp Challenge not knowing what to expect or if I would actually get anything out of it. Now that I have successfully completed the challenge I can say I got more out of it that I would have ever expected. The trainers are great, motivating, encouraging, and hold you accountable. Although the meal plan was a little more difficult for me, I pushed through, lost the 20lbs and am excited to be continuing with a membership to their gym. It was an excellent way to kick start my weight loss journey and to give me positive results that will make me what to continue making healthy choices in my life!

If you’re ready to commit to a healthier lifestyle, then BarNone Transformation center is a great place to start. They have identified the major areas where people fail when starting a weight loss program, and have designed the program to help overcome these obstacles. I signed up for the 20 pound/6 week challenge and was assured that as long as I followed the program to a ‘T’ I would lose the 20 pounds. This did work for many individuals, however I didn’t lose that much even though I followed the program. That being said, I strongly recommend this program for anyone who is ready to commit and endure the workouts. The diet plan is extremely strict with very few options, but is easy to follow and can be accomplished with planning. Due to the nutrient rich foods I was eating at scheduled intervals, my extreme food cravings were demolished. My excessive problem with fatigue quickly became a thing of the past. The entire staff is incredible to work with and the members are equally interactive. I am now a driven full-fledged member of BarNone.

The past six weeks have been a journey for sure and I would not have been able to do it without the support of the staff at BarNone. The group training is exactly what I needed. The trainers here truly know what they’re doing. Their Camp Challenge program is literally life changing! Not only do they push you to try your hardest and keep going physically, they’re there for you when you’re not at the gym. One of the most interactive and supportive staffs I’ve ever seen. I completed 2 challenges at Barnone and have been mighty pleased with the staff and also the other challengers and members. I lost about 45 pounds by the end of second challenge and this is one of the thing which you need experience and feel as words are not enough to describe or even justify the experience! I had hard time at the beginning but the coaching staff always showed enough trust in me that I can I reach the goal and they even supported me during my travel and religious breaks to adjust their schedule…
The camp challenge program consists of group based workouts but honestly we get more than a personal attention and we also have enough varieties in the diet plan. Coaching staff is always there to guide/correct our moves and also after hours there’s a Facebook group where you can share any of your queries and experiences.
In addition to the weight loss, I also got to meet some very nice challengers and members, who have been true friends throughout the challenge and looking forward to meet and workout with them. I have planned to become a member as I think Barnone has much more to offer during membership program as well.
Either you plan to become a member or a challenger, more than likely your body will thank yourself for making your decision for committing to this program!

BarNone’s 6 week challenge started the beginning of a new life for myself. Their promise was fulfilled, I will NEVER be the same! Following The Damn Instructions along with the meal plan and the support from the trainers was the jump started I desperately needed. Don’t get me wrong, week one I wanted to cave in and quit; however, my determination would not allow me to so. Holding myself accountable and seeing weekly results at my weigh-in was extremely rewarding. The work outs are intense; nonetheless, incredibly satisfying and fun. I have had issues with losing weight for years now. I’ve tried different methods, different diets and they would work for one or two weeks, but eventually I would add a cheat day and that cheat day became a cheat week and then a cheat month! I didn’t have the right tools or the right mindset to lose weight. I first heard of BarNone Training on Facebook. I just thought it was like any other gym, where they just take your money and give you no direction, they don’t care if you show up or not. At BarNone, everyone is like one big family. I participated in the 6 Week Weight Loss Challenge at BarNone Training in Lenexa, KS that began at the end of October. I had allowed myself to make too many excuses for no longer exercising or working out and had slowly packed on too much extra weight. I felt sluggish and uncomfortable in my clothes and just generally not good about myself.
I met with the owner of BarNone and had a very candid conversation with him about where I was physically and where I wanted to get too. He explained the 6 Week Challenge to me and encouraged me to participate. He applied now pressure and left me to make my own decision.
I completed the challenge a few days ago and feel better than I have in a very long time. The support I received from all of the staff was just wonderful. They provided personal encouragement and were always available to answer any questions I may have.
The biggest take-away I have from the challenge was how to clean up my diet and actually pay attention to what I eat. I am 46 years old and realize I cannot eat garbage foods like I did when I was 26.
The exercise program was different every single day and I could schedule which workout I wanted to complete. The classes were structured in such a way that you never had time to get bored to too burned out with each exercise. Just as I felt I was nearing a stopping point, it was time to change up exercises. The trainers were constantly moving around and watching to ensure form was proper so no injuries occurred.
One thing that really impressed me was the use of Functional Movement Screening. We were screened while performing a series of exercises and checked for any limitations. Once a limitation was observed, you were assigned a colored wristband so the trainers knew you had some type of physical limitation. Every single exercise could be modified for each color band so you still received the benefit of the exercise but did not get injured.
I ended up losing 21.9lbs over the 6 week period and feel so much better about myself. My clothes fit way better (although they are a little too loose now), I sleep better, and just performing day-to-day activities in my job are so much easier.
I believe the way BarNone has set up the challenge with a deposit you can earn back is one of the biggest factors for my success. I knew that if I worked hard, stayed consistent with my workouts and diet; I could earn my money back. I was not pressured in any way to allow my deposit to be rolled into a membership.
I would highly recommend this challenge for anyone, no matter how much weight you need to lose or how out of shape you may be. If you follow the rules, work hard, and don’t cheat while eating; you will be successful. The entire staff of trainers and support personnel are there for one reason only; to make you successful!

I officially completed my six week challenge September 2, 2017, and I joined this challenge to lose weight and be healthy. The start was very difficult for me and where I was at in being overweight. But when I started and started feeling better and seeing results, I kept in there and was determined to reach my first goal of 60 lbs, to this day I have went pass that goal and Lost 73.8 lbs to date. There were many challenges in between but the FTDI (Follow the Damn Instructions) was a good resource and it is a different way of living to be healthy. I can say it is not for everyone but you will not know unless you give it a chance. The staff and instructor were very supportive of all the things I had going on. I had a lot of new friends and gym family to help keep me on task. The holding yourself accountable, Responsible and Motivating self is real. It is a game changer for a healthy Life!!
The whole environment is great and energetic. The camp has great trainers who are dedicated and experienced and will push you if that is where you are at in the challenge. This is a great place to start your weight loss journey and I would recommend this to anyone wanting to be healthy and you get to experience what it feels like to be healthy and fit. My initial challenge was done on September 2, 2017, and successfully lost my 20 pounds plus 7.4 more, in six weeks! I couldn't be any happier with my results and with all the support and help from the staff and members, especially with the correctives. I just completed my 3rd challenge and I feel amazingly great and look my best since I can remember.

I can not say how much time, money and effort I have put forth trying to lose weight. I have tried almost everything. I always tried the "quick fixes". Searched the easy way out. Put forth the "hard work" for about a month, and then would quit. Losing all drive and hope behind me. My friend was doing the Challenge at Barnone, and had lost 65 pounds.. I thought.. "man, if it is working for her, I know for a fact I can do this". In the beginning I was a little worried about it being "sleezy" or all about taking your money. but it is the furthest thing from that. Once I committed myself to giving it a solid try, without quitting, without making excuses.. IT WORKED. This gym is truly a wonderful place. Whether it be the group workouts, the trainers, the "barnone support staff", or the wonderful community of people that are working just like you are to become a better them. I fell in love.. with the old school workouts. All of it. The staff is amazing. They are knowledgeable, helpful, and positive. They are constantly pushing you and cheering you on. They go above and beyond to make you feel safe, comfortable and welcome. For once in about 12 years, I am finally losing weight. I am working harder than I have ever worked. Pushing my body harder than it has been pushed since college volleyball. It is amazing to see your body become stronger, being able to see the ability to perform, improve. This program is a legitimate program. I would absolutely recommend this gym and program to anyone and everyone looking to lose weight, gain strength and better themselves. You WILL NOT BE SORRY!!

A month before starting the challenge, something very painful happened in my life, the doctor told me that I had to do something for my health and to feel good, I saw this program on Facebook and decided to register for orientation , I still doubted if I should take the challenge and I went to a second orientation. There I finally made the decision and registered for the 6 week challenge, the first day I did not even want to get up, but I did and...Oh Surprise!!! It was the best decision I could have made, these people know and love what they do, every trainer, every staff member and every member are incredible, they make you feel that you can do this and they do not let you give up, they push you to give your maximum effort always being aware of your safety ... It began with an invitation from Barnone to come listen to a presentation about losing weight; a free twenty pound challenge! I had been seeking a place to work out that was close to home. This seemed like a possibility. I attended the presentation and was impressed. There were thirty-forty people present. It was a very diverse group varying in age, race, and gender. They all were seeking help with their health. Wilson's presentation was very genuine, and the way he described the program convinced me to give it a try! I am so glad I did. All the trainers are great, the classes are varied, which helps keep me interested. I enjoy the 5:00 AM classes, because due to my schedule, they allow me to workout every day. Evenings are dedicated to my kids, I’m not always busy with them, but I want to be available when they need me or I have an opportunity to spend time with them. The other challengers and members have been awesome. They have been very supportive and eager to share tips for getting through the tough moments and ways to make the food plan a little more interesting!!! I lost 23 pounds my first challenge and look forward to losing at least twenty more with challenge II. This is my second challenge and it has been hard I am not going to lie. It is hard to stay on track, but the results are real. I have lost over 40 lbs in 13 weeks total. When i started this journey 6 weeks ago, i had no idea what i was getting myself into. I remember the first time i stepped into the doors of BarNone. I was scared, nervous, anxious, excited ect. Every emotion you could possible feel i was feeling it. I sat there and listened to Wilson speak about the program and how so many people have had success from it. I looked around the room and seen all the pictures of the previous challengers/current and i thought to myself WOW these people look amazing could i really do that? I nervously signed up for the 6-week challenge. My first day of the challenge was one of the hardest days of my life! The workouts were the most intense thing i have ever done, my legs were so sore i could barely get up and down, waking up at 4 am was a nightmare and don't forget the FTDI meal plan. After class, i got into my car and just laughed. I thought Jenneil your ridiculous for thinking you could ever do something like this. However here i am 6 weeks later and 25 lbs lighter!!! I could not imagine my life today without BarNone and all the amazing people i have met along the way. What once seemed impossible to do is now my everyday life. This challenge to me is not just about losing the weight and looking better. It is about so much more. I have consistently worked out, ate clean, drank a gallon of water a day, and finally STUCK to something. I have done things that i did not even know i was capable of even doing. I have way more energy, less health issues and overall feel better than i ever have in my life. The love and support you receive from all the trainers and fitfam just drives you more to keep going. What started as a 6-week challenge has now turned into a lifestyle change and a new found passion for fitness that i will forever be thankful for. The Challenge at Barnone Training is legit! This is the one and only gym membership and weight loss program that has worked for me. The best part is there are no surprises with the training and the diet program as the requirements are things you already know to be a healthy individual. The thing that distinguishes this place compared to all of the others is the accountability and relationships you build with trainers and other participants to help you reach your goals. I am telling you I am the guy that always thought of excuses to not go workout and eat unhealthy for every meal. The camp challenge has been a great experience for me. I love the structure of a different class every day to switch it up. I'm a person that always played sports in the past and find it hard to motivate myself in the gym on my own. Having a class with others allows me to push myself in a way I've never been able to achieve on my own. The diet is hard, but the exercise makes it worth it. I Participated in the 20 lbs in 6 weeks challenege. The challenge is about so much more thab weight loss. It challenged me personally as a chronic under-eater to eat regularly to help create a properly functioning metabolism. Not only eating regularly, but eating balanced meals. I experienced what my body feels like when you give it proper fuel regularly.
I was also forced, in a good way, to develop better habits not juat in eating, but sleeping, drinking water, and overall self-care.
Prior to the challenge I dreaded the thought of going to workout. By the end however, I was looking forward to working out. I went from napping when I should have been getting active,to wanting to workout on my 'rest days'.
There are many things I wasn't able to do prior to the completing the challenge that I am able to do now. I felt myself get stronger physically and mentally during the challenge and there's no turning back now.
There was such great support from all the trainers and past participants. It was great to experience people who care without even knowing you.
The challenge has played a role in me changing my life for the better in so many ways, I'd recommended the challenege to anyone!

I completed the Camp's 6 week, 20 lb challenge a few days ago and I cannot say enough good things about this place. I was skeptical that they would be able to help me lose 20 lbs as I have never really been overweight (never larger than a size 6). However, I had seen a few friends take the challenge and I decided to go for it. This was an incredible experience and it made me change the way I eat, workout, and live in general. The classes are hard, but they are so fun! You get an amazing workout in only an hour. The trainers are there to motivate and help you through it all. The hardest part for me was the diet, but you get used to eating the food by Week 2 and soon you will not miss bad food because your body will feel so good. If you stick to the program 100%, you will lose the 20 lbs. I lost 21.6 in the 6 weeks and I never thought that was possible. If you are even considering taking the challenge, I encourage you to go to the orientation at least. Don't put it off another 6 weeks, just do it!

I can't express how much I've changed in these short six weeks. Life happened and I found myself in that "sandwich caretaker" situation where my kids are still young enough to need me all the time but my dad is older and ill enough (Alzheimer's) to need a lot of assistance as well. In trying to take care of everyone (with my saint of a husband by my side), I completely forgot about taking care of myself. I turned to comfort food as a quick fix and was too tired to exercise. I kept making the decision to "start being healthy on Monday" and then kept failing by Tuesday. I felt out of control with my weight and habits, which for me, is directly correlated to my emotional state. I was very unhappy. I was thinking I HAD to do something when the ad popped up on Facebook. I knew immediately I HAD to do it and I HAD to make it work. I went in--assuming there would be strings attached to the "free" transformation-- and I was right. I listened and the deal seemed fair. A deposit to hold me accountable for my success. I signed up. It is basically a simple (not to be confused with easy) way to eat right and exercise. I followed the instructions. I worked my booty off five days a week and, what do you know, it worked! This program is not for excuse makers. It's not for people looking for a magic weight-loss pill. It's for people determined to dig down and find the best in themselves but, like me, need support, an encouraging staff to cheer them on and keep them accountable. I found that here.

Prior to joining The Camp Challenge, I was taking efforts to lose weight. Walking, trying to eat healthier, but I was not doing it effectively. A friend on Facebook began the challenge and I asked her about it. After speaking to her about it, I looked into it and signed up for the Orientation. After going to the Orientation, I was convinced that this was something I could and should do. So, I signed up. The workouts are quite challenging but made up in a way that they seem to go fast. They also vary from day to day, made up by different trainers, so you never know what you are doing everyday. Keeps it from getting boring. The trainers themselves are all very knowledgeable and are always encouraging during the workouts. Pushing us to do our best, correcting us if we do a move wrong so that we get the most out of our workouts and do them safely. My first challenge was a success, so more to come from the second challenge.

I have spent the past 10 years of my life running as my primary form of exercise – and, until recently, this alone kept me in shape. However, being a one-trick pony was taking its toll on my body. My knees and Achilles were slowly wearing down. Additionally, as my children were getting older, squeezing in runs between work and kids activities was becoming more and more difficult. Running was the easiest thing to give up in order to take care of everything else. And gradually, my fitness level began to deteriorate. I knew I needed to make some changes. I then discovered The Camp Challenge – hosted by BarNone Training.
While researching the program, I was thrilled that they had a 5 AM class. This meant that I could get my workout in without the risk of work and kid-related distractions. I also saw the benefit of the nutritional elements. Finally, the 20 lb weight loss component seemed doable. So I gave it a shot.
The group workouts are enjoyable, but challenging. The trainers do a great job both setting up the workouts and maintaining a positive vibe throughout the classes. The diversity of classes is great, too, as one day I can do a class heavy in cardio while the next day, the class I choose might more strength-based. I noticed the results immediately as my range of motion improved within the first week and my running-specific pains also became less noticeable.
From a nutritional standpoint, you will lose the 20 lbs if you follow the diet as written. It works because it is simple and easy to follow. I had the energy to get me through the day, and still managed to lose the weight.
I would recommend this challenge to anyone looking to make a lifestyle change, drop a few pounds and improve their overall fitness level.

I completed the BarNone 6 week camp challenge and personally it is one of the best decisions I've made. I heard about the challenge from a friend of mine, whose enthusiasm about it convinced me that I should give it a shot too. I've always had trouble with staying true to my healthy lifestyle commitments, but the challenge helped me get past that hurdle. It made me healthier and also confident that I can do it all over again.
The trainers and workouts are great. Having multiple sessions to choose from any day is very useful when there are work/travel related commitments. We also get a lot of tips and suggestions about how to eat healthy and ensure that the body receives all the necessary nutrients.
The support structure including previous challengers, members and rest of the BarNone staff help a lot with keeping ourselves motivated and also answering any questions we have.
Even though I completed the challenge, I decided to stay with BarNone as a member and also convinced my wife to join me.
I'm glad I took the challenge and I'd highly recommend anyone thinking of making a lifestyle change to try it out too.

This group of amazing trainers and support staff have changed my life!! I was unfortunately on the road to diabetes along with other health issues when I started this journey. Since doing my 6 week challenge I not only lost 24.7 Ibs but more importantly my A1C has become stable enough to not have to give myself shots everyday!! I feel so much better both physically and mentally. It's hard work and takes discipline and dedication but everyone at Barnone is simply amazing and so supportive and encouraging. My sister Shirley Ann ask me to join the 6-week weight loss challenge hosted by BarNone Training. I asked what the challenge consisted of, and she said; ”The cost is $100.00. If you lose 20 Lbs in six weeks you get your money back, or you can do another challenge”. Well, I should have known, she didn’t have all the facts. However, I truly thank you sissy for telling me about the program.
Before the first session, my fear was how this program would modify their workouts to fit my needs. I have had both knees replaced, and I experience a lot of pain in my right hip. Thankfully they adjusted the routines to compensate my issues and I was able to exceed my goal of 20 Lbs and lost 23 Lbs in 6 weeks.
One thing that really impressed me was how the trainers were very attentive and observing to each individual while we were exercising. I was skeptical about their ability to view everyone because of the size of the class. However, they were very professional and knowledgeable about techniques and form, and they did not hesitate to correct us as needed.
Another thing that I like about BarNone Training is the fact that the exercises are interchanged so we are not constantly doing the same routine. I tend to get bored, so the change makes it easier and more fun to commit.
Even though my sister Shirley Ann did not have all the details when she asked me to join the program nor did she like working out, I would like to thank BarNone Training Staff for her accomplishment. Her self-esteem has improved tremendously.
I would recommend BarNone Training to anyone who is serious about improving their health.

Barnone 6 week challenge is nothing you've ever done. You get motivated from people who you don't even know (in the beginnning). You get excited to see how far you can push yourself during the workout with the help of your amazing trainers even when you feel like death and don't want to be there. But you're there. Killing it. I have had gym memberships in the past, but always felt intimidated going to the gym full of seemingly fit people who knew how to properly use the equipment, and knew all the steps during the different classes. I always thought I was being judged by my size, how many rest breaks I needed, and just looking lost about what to do.
From the day of the informative orientation at BarNone, and every day since, I've had a different feeling about being in a gym. I felt welcomed, there wasn't intimidating equipment greeting me, but smiling and friendly staff members and trainers. They are motivating, respectful, and always available to give proper guidance on correct format of moves.
It's not only the trainer's and staff members who are supporting, the other challengers and gym members working hard beside you are encouraging and motivating as well. I have never felt out of place at BarNone, I have never felt like I was in competition with anyone else, but have been encouraged to do my best to get the best workout for me.
My health has greatly improved since I began my first challenge 18 week's ago. Now that I've successfully completed three challenges, I can honestly say the compassion and support at BarNone Training never waivers. As I was able to improve my movements, gain strength, and grow confidence in my abilities, the trainer's were right there to encourage me and correct my form in a calm and effective manner.
I am officially done with the challenge, having completed three challenges, however my journey to health is not complete. There is nowhere else I'd rather be to continue my journey, so I have become a member of BarNone Training to continue to work hard with my awesome fitness family.

Review of Bar None Transformation Camp

When I signed up for the 20 lbs in 6 week program with Bar None I was clueless as to what I had signed myself up for other than the fact I wanted to see a transformation like never before.
I am not a social media junkie by no means so the demands of checking in and joining groups and searching thru the group feeds was quite overwhelming for me. I managed to learn the ropes on the checking in and checking out the group page not so successful on the searches but I am still trying to navigate that one. I was quite confused in the beginning but now I feel like I am at least at the novice stage.
The workouts at the Camp were surprisingly progressive which I truly liked that we were not just thrown into routines that were complicated, overly intense, or difficult to achieve. I felt as if we were introduced into baby steps thru the weeks and by the sixth week I appreciated the baby steps provided it allowed me to master the moves as well as last longer to keep up my endurance during the workouts. I had never done structured workouts but I liked the progression and the personal trainers/instructors were awesome. They were able to balance the entire room and assist to help you achieve the perfect and correct form to target the specific areas intended for the workout. Trainers/instructors were always available to assist with suggestions for extra stretches to help with muscle soreness.
The eating plan was very structured. I had 6 weeks to figure out which combinations would work best in my favor to assist in losing the weight/fat. I am not one that likes a lot of variety so the meals worked best for me. The protein supplements provided a change to the palette offering a little sweetness to endure the meal plans.
Overall the staff has been super supportive, always available, and there when you have questions or concerns. The Camp has also made me more accountable for attending class sessions and sticking to the entire program for the entire six weeks. I met some new people and ran into a few I had not seen in awhile. The structure helped me lose 22.1 lbs in my first 6 weeks which encouraged me to take on another 6 week challenge. I would definitely recommend the Camp to anyone who is serious about taking the weight off and keeping the weight off after the challenge. Its GREAT!!!!

BarNone Training is so great!! I have dealt with being overweight off and on every since college. When I've tried to lose weight in the past, I've lost some (and only when I'm super committed) and then gained it right back. It was always getting a gym membership, just working out on my own without any real guidance, mostly sticking to the Elliptical and some strengthening via machines. Never had good nutrition guidance and would always just fall back in to old habits.
This place really does promote a family feel. Everyone supports each other and drives each other because we are all going through the same thing. This challenge has been AMAZING!! It is very hard and a lot of work but so worth it. BarNone doesn't use machines which I love. It's all down right hard work with bands, sandbags, weights, ropes and more. I've lost 25.1 pounds in 6 weeks. I have confidence again. I'm wearing shorts again. I feel so much healthier for me and for my family. My children deserve a happy and energetic mommy. I am rolling over into a membership so I can keep up with these awesome workouts, get nutrition training, and continue to tone up and lose weight. I will have the support and nutrition guidance to really keep up with my new healthy life.

I highly recommended the 6-week Challenge hosted by Camp Barnone Lenexa and Mission. 24 lbs gone in 6-weeks. When I started the program, I didn't know the exercises and my mind struggled to adapt to a new reality. I had moments of deep emotion....The Challenge was a challenge to my mind and my body. My spirit responded to the Barnone trainers, members and fellow challengers who were caring and supportive...encouraging not judging. I am grateful to the trainers who in a group class setting gave me and everyone in the class personalized attention, correcting our form as needed on each exercise and motivating us so we could receive the maximum benefit from our workouts. The food portion of The Challenge is clearly defined and provides protein, carb and veg options. Barnone and The Camp Challenge has changed my life. Not only from the weight loss that has occurred but from the lifestyle changes.
Getting up at 4am for my 5am workouts. Eating healthy and clean meals every day. Full of energy from 4am until bedtime at 10pm.
My mood is so much better. I started a new role at work on week 2 of the challenge. It was a big promotion with a lot of extra responsibility.
But the nutrition and workouts helped focus me while at work and keep me on task.
What really sets the bar so high though is the amazing trainers that we work with every day. Both Bobby's, Kim, Elana, Kelly, Dan, Chili, and the office staff all

The 6 Week 20 LB Challenge is about so much more than just weight loss. I’m in my mid-forties and had gained a significant amount of weight over the last several years. In addition to the weight gain, I just felt old. I had little energy, had a difficult time sleeping through the night and it seemed like something always hurt. I made excuse after excuse why I couldn’t exercise.
After being hounded by my best friend month after month, I finally agreed to give BarNone a try and I’m so thankful I did. Within just a few weeks, I began to see changes.
The trainers as well as the support staff are top-notch. Prior to the beginning of each class, they demonstrate how to properly perform each exercise and give instruction on how each exercise can me modified. Regardless of your fitness level or the condition of your health, this program can be modified so anyone can do it.
While exercising is vital, the “Challenge” also teaches the importance of proper nutrition, hydration and adequate sleep.
I completed the challenge with a 23 lb weight loss. Additionally, I now sleep through the night, my energy has increased, my focus improved, I no longer crave sugar and have met some incredible people who have encouraged and inspired me. I was scared. During banding time, I got every single band being given. But this did not disappoint me. They modify the exercises so this helped me. I participated in the 6-wk Barnone challenge at the Lenexa location. I can say, without a doubt, this has been the best experience in my life as far as doing something really great for my health. The combination of the diet and exercise is always what we hear about in order to get in shape, but I truly like the way Barnone puts their program together. Although the food may be limiting at first, I can always find a way to get more creative and make it work. I have absolutely become addicted to the variety of exercise programs Barnone uses, as there is never a dull moment, but you will WORK! There are many things I thought I would never do in this type of program, such a 5 a.m. workout, no creamy cheesy foods, no alcohol, etc., but I feel so much better for making this change! The Camp Challenge at BarNone is a phenomenal way to lose weight quickly in a healthy format! The diet, while strict, teaches you to fuel your body with the right portions of healthy food in a way to rev up your metabolism and get your body working efficiently. The group fitness classes are challenging regardless of your fitness level. The excellent trainers will help to modify every aspect of your workout to help you maximize your potential without risking injury. The trainers are all very motivating and are there to push you and encourage you to give your best every workout. I love the group workout atmosphere, your surrounded by people of every fitness level who encourage and push one another to get in one more rep, or push just a little harder. The challenge is not for someone who is looking to sail through and lose weight easily, it is a Challenge and you have to be committed to do it...but Anyone can do it...you just have to follow the instructions!! It is a well designed program that ecorporates healthy eating, exercise, motivation, and accountability.
I started my first challenge 3 weeks after I had my baby boy and I couldn't be more thrillled with having successfully lost my 20lbs in 6 weeks and getting myself to below my pre-pregnancy weight before my maternity leave was over. If you want to lose weight and get healthier I would highly recommend the Camp Challenge. Don't let excuses get in your way...the challenge is for anyone and everyone. Got 20lbs to lose you can do it, 200lbs to lose you can do it, bad knees/hips/back, etc... you can do it, 20 or 80 years old you can do it!! Just commit to it and to yourself and you won't regret it!!!

As an ex-athlete who gained a lot of weight and had to start taking a lot of medication, it was hard to find something like this. Being able to find a program that works is awesome. Being able to workout with people who either have similar stories to yours or have their own unique challenges is motivating and makes it easier to attend. The program works; the diet works; I recommend it to anyone who is truly ready to make a change in their life.

Well today was officially the last day of the camp challenge for me and let me say what a wonderful experience and opportunity. Although I was one pound shy of meeting the camp goal, I still feel it was a huge personal success. I completely feel transformed. I feel strong and more energized and able to take on every day feeling strong, motivated, and empowered. It was a tough 6 weeks but with every minute of it. It has been many years where my focus has been on my family and not on myself. It was great to find that time for myself and still manage the family. I was actually more motivated to handle my daily duties as a mom, wife, and employee.
A huge thank you to all the BarNone staff for all of the training, motivation, and encouragement.

***SECOND CHALLENGE UPDATE***
I just conquered my 2nd challenge and I've shredded just over 47 pounds! I'm so grateful to be apart of the BarNone experience and I'm ready for my 3rd challenge! Going into the first challenge I wasn't mentally prepared whatsoever; all I knew is that something had to change and it had to change now because I was going downhill fast. It was affecting my confidence, my relationship with my partner and my kids.... my health, of course. I have so much energy and look forward to going to the gym and trying out new FTDI recipes. My kids and partner continue to make healthier choices with me to show their support. BarNone staff provide a positive attitude for friendly and personal competitiveness and positive environment for learning form and pushing yourself to succeed. I'm so HaPPY to have come this far... the experience is priceless for me.

My friend one day came at my place for dinner and talk about a place, which helps you lose 20 pounds, and so the next day we called and went for the orientation. In the orientation Wilson Thomas talk about how many people Barnone has helped. I was not sure if I could survive for 6 weeks so I did the 21 days training first. Those were the most pain full 3 weeks of my life. Every day I was not sure why I was waking up early and going to a place where my body didn’t want to go. But I am glad now that I did. I lost total of 30 pounds in 9 weeks, I recently finished the first challenge and lost 20.9 pounds in 6 weeks. I go to my work and everyone is so surprised to see my transformation. I feel more and more confident everyday. Going to Barnone was the best decision I every made in my entire life.

I am in my mid-50’s and have not been active for over a decade. I have tried several magical pills that HAVE NOT worked. I KNEW it was going to take a life-style change including body movement and food modification to lose the weight and get healthy. So I had 2 choices: Make the change or just become known to my family and friends as “the head in the bed”. I choose change! I began to wrap my head around the fact I was going to have to make a complete life-style change. I knew I did not have the self-motivation to do this on my own so I joined the challenge for my birthday and it was the BEST birthday present I have ever given to myself! I have had a very positive experience with the Bar None 6 Week Challenge. I am not going to say this has been easy but it has been necessary for me to start down a road of a life-style change. There is not one workout that is like the last, everyday it’s a new adventure. I am enjoying the relationships I am building with the instructors and the other participants. I look forward to getting my day started with working out, then for me the hard part starts…getting my water in! Not only have I lost the first 20 pounds I am gaining strength that I had lost over years of not being active and taking care of myself. I am looking forward to my 2nd challenge!
Con: Although I have not been hungry there is not enough food choices. Wish there was a nutritional moving forward group.
I would recommend this to anyone that is in need of accountability, motivation and looking for the camaraderie of people with the similar goals.

One of my friend told me about this 6 week 20 lbs challenge and it instantly got my attention, as I was trying to shed some excess weight for more than a year but wasn’t successful. I had a concern that I may not have the required 20 lbs to lose and it will be very difficult for me as I was not really overweight. Regardless, I decided to go to orientation and asked my husband to join me. In orientation when they explained the entire challenge in detail, we were totally sold and immediately signed up for the challenge.
After challenge started, I was able to see the difference in my body by the 2nd week itself, I had more energy and for the first time I was actually excited to get up early in the morning for a morning workout.
The best aspect part about Barnone are the coaches/trainers. They are really nice and they pay personal attention to you and correct you if your posture is not correct, putting emphasis on the correct form, so that you don't injure yourself during these intense workouts. They guide you through out the challenge and really wants you to win. I had attended group classes in the past but never knew a single persons name from the group that worked out with me, but here we used to share our workout and diet experiences. Everyone was trying to help each other and encourage other people during workout. I can definitely say I made few friends during the challenge J
I would highly recommend this challenge to everyone out there who is looking for change in their lives, it could be anything from losing weight to just being healthier.
You wont regret joining BarNone.
Also for the people who think they might not have 20lbs to lose, I was able to complete the challenge successfully and if I can do it you can too, you just need to FTDI :)

I am pleased to review my experience with BarNone training. Joining this 6 week challenge was a mental challenge for me in the beginning because of the fear of showing my true self and lack of ability to do exercises. The trainer with BarNone support you mentally emotionally and physically. It is the best feeling in The world to have all that support. The challenger and members are so supportive as well it was a great six week experience. I never thought I would have be able to get to a workout at 0500 and it give it my all. As time went on my love for working out grew and that is thanks to the staff challenger and members. Losing the weight is great as well seeing the transformation is amazing and I am loving it. I just ended my second challenge and can't wait to start my third! My 6 week challenge has now come to an end. I have lost 20.2 pounds and owe it all to the trainers and fellow challengers for motivating me. This was a hard and very strict program which is what I needed. I travel a lot for work and was still able to make it work but I will not lie, it was not easy. FTDI....it is so true. I couldn't have done it without all of you. Thanks for kicking my butt! Now I am a true believer in this program and have became a member. Here's to loosing even more weight.

The Camp Challenge has been one of the most valuable experience in my life until now. It is really what it says!!! A transformation challenge that you take upon yourself to meet your health goals. And you are not alone in this path...there are others beside you who will motivate you and a team of experts who will guide you and challenge you to meet your weight loss goals.
At the start of my 6 week challenge I was not sure I had it in me...I had tried this and that and never could really keep the momentum going but this camp has shown me how to stay motivated and motivation comes from results and results are obvious when you see your life changing in front of your eyes...its not just the scale tipping down but also thw way you feel is what kept me going....I recommend everyone to take this challenge and show yourself how you can achieve it with the help of friends and experts along the way...
5/26/17....I just finished another challenge and it feels absolutely great the way my body has transformed...I could not have done this without the support and guidance of the @Barnone Team. I joined the Barnone 6 Week Challenge after a friend posted about on it facebook. Considering I had nothing to lose, I thought I would check it out for myself.
After the weight loss roller-coaster I have experienced throughout my life and with being the heaviest weight I have ever been, I decided this was a Challenge I was willing to take. Not only have I completed the first round successfully, I feel healthier, more energetic, and ecstatic to fit comfortably into a smaller pair of pants again. I encourage every one who is struggling to try this path. Working out with a group keeps you motivated to keep moving forward, and the accountability group keeps you on track. Give it a SHOT! You will be glad you did!!!
Update: 4/7/17 Challenge 2
This second time around I have lost an additional 20 pounds putting me down to a total over 42 pounds lost. Today, when I went in for my final weigh in of this challenge, I put on the same clothing from my first Challenge, and what a difference I saw immediately. (I hadn't worn the top since that last weigh in.) Right away I could tell the difference in the way it fit. I knew I had been losing weight, but to put on clothes that were a bit tighter fitting just 6 weeks ago, and then immediately feel the difference when I slipped them on today...was Invigorating!!!
If you're debating this is a program for you, I suggest you look into it. What do you have to lose (other than weight!)
If you don't start something today, you are going to be in the same place a month from now. Take that Next Step!!!
Update 5/26/17
Challenge 3 is complete and in the books! Although this time around I did not make my full 20, I lost over 56 pounds in 18 weeks. Pretty incredible if you ask me!! As my next step I have decided to become a member and take the nutrition class. I'm excited about this next part of my journey, as I need the accountability and motivation to keep pushing forward.
As I have said before, If you have struggled with weight-loss, and need that extra push, consider Barnone and the 6 Week challenge. You have nothing to lose...except maybe some weight!

I joined BarNone after seeing an add on Facebook. Today I completed my second challenge, and lost 48.7 pounds in 12 weeks. I finally found a place that is encouraging and dedicated to helping me achieve my goals. The trainers are so supportive, and I've never had a the same routine. Over the years, I have had memberships with various gyms and group workout, but the reason I give this place 5 stars is because of the trainers, their energy and their commitment to help members achieve their goals while keeping their safety in mind and also making the workouts fun. They help challenge yourself to push harder. I successfully completed my 6 weeks challenge today and I am even more excited because I have signed up to be a regular member. Even if I hadn’t reached my goal, this place still gets a 5 star from me.

I've been a member for almost 3 years, successfully finishing the Challenge last year, and I just completed the Nutrition classes that trainer Kim conducts. The nutrition class changed my mindset on my eating habits such as what to add to my meal planning and what to avoid. I was never hungry, never starving, and never felt deprived. I gained muscle mass but lost weight over six weeks. Worth the investment.

I decided to take the 6 Week Challenge because I was in a War with Self and losing the Battle QUICK! I'm a single Mother and put most, if not all, of my focus into my Daughter's needs and well being. She's played basketball since age 7. As her sports schedule increased to an all year round thing, my attention to self sort of decreased. I once was very active, would rollar skate twice a week, take aerobics and zumba classes 2-3 times a week at work and was in pretty decent shape. As time moved forward (and fast), my workouts became fewer and eventually obsolete. Traveling with AAU, being on the road 3 months out of the year, eating on the go at ALL the Wrong places with lack of sleep caught up with me. I became Very OBESE and just completely let myself go. As long as my kid was fit, healthy and happy doing what she loved... I "appeared" happy...BUT only on the Outside! On the Inside, I was miserable, didn't like to look at my body in the mirror, take pictures (no fully body shots please) or go out to mingle with friends anymore. Even dating became a chore. If I wasn't pleased with me or my image, how can I expect someone else to be?
My Daughter moved out the Summer of 2015 to attend JUCO, is in the final stretch of completing her Sophomore year of college to then transfer to a D1 Univ and continue playing ball and Spreading Her Wings. I told myself it's time (overdue) Rhonda to cut the umbilical cord and...be a little Selfish. To put Focus into SELF and GET SELF RIGHT!
I came across the 6 Week Challenge on FB. The statement speaks for itself let me tell ya! Training myself to eat every 2.5 hrs was absolutely unheard of. Especially since my daily food intake consisted of an 8oz cup of coffee in the morning and a unhealthy, large portioned dinner at night. Yes...no lunch with minimum water throughout the day and dinner usually fell after 7pm each night. My metabolism had a flashing, neon sign that read "CLOSED FOR BUSINESS!" (not to mention any other underlying heath risks may have existed).
So, I signed up for the challenge not really knowing if I would succeed. My First week was Very Hard (understatement)! I had the pleasure of meeting Honey aka honey stick the very first class. Lol. My body spoke to me in was I didn't know it could y'all! Each week I stuck it out though and things began to fall into place. Meal planning became a habit and very convenient with the busy schedule. I felt a HUGE change in my energy level, not as sluggish and fatigue. I'm more conscious of what foods and portions I eat now and just feel better overall! During the process, I kept an open mind and stayed positive even when the scale wasn't so friendly. I had a Successful First Challenge and am Proud of myself for that. I want to keep pushing! I DESERVE IT!! Kudos to Barnone Trainers for their Awesome Support, Wilson Thomas for making me believe I Can Do This, my lil/big Sis Lakesha Thompson for taking this first journey with me and ALL of the Great Challengers I've met and who encouraged me along the way! Group classes and fun instructers allowed for the 6 week challenge to be a pleasing experience. Working hard and eating clean will get you the results ya want, if ya stick with it. Sometimes ya just need that extra push to get started on your fitness goals.

UPDATE*** I have just finished my second round of the challenge and went down another 24.9# and am being more adventurous in my workouts. I am doing burpees, running a lot more, and just feeling so much better. Even signed up to run a warrior dash later this month!!! The trainers are amazing, the program works, I can not put into words how grateful I am for being a part of this. I have made great friends, challenging others while being challenges and being held accountable by people who genuinely care about my progress. I've really let myself go the last five or so years and needed something beyond to usual gym routine. Working out alone is very unmotivating and I usual quit after just a few workouts. The Camp Challenge IS DIFFERENT. Trainers focused on the group but even you individually. There is no pressure to perform at the level of a seasoned vet but they do get the most out of your effort but constantly encouraging you to give that little bit more(Bobby dared me to take my high knees higher today, lol). The diet is very strict but mixed with the water intake and the daily workouts IT DOES WORK. My week six weigh-in is still a couple of days away but I am so close to getting to 30lbs on this challenge, it is my first of several ahead. This requires HARD WORK, DISCIPLINE, WILL POWER & SUPPORT. Support at the gym and away. From other participants and at home from your family. Follow the instructions and trust the process. You alone decide if you'll successfully complete this. The scales won't lie. Very happy with the camp, it's trainers, staff and the process. Cheers to the end of my first and here here to the next four of five challenges ahead.

Barnone Training have the best trainers out there. Even though it's group training, which I love, they focus on your individual level of fitness. They show you how to correct the moves, while pushing you and encouraging you.
This Program is well organized and only for those who really want to change their lives. As much of a commitment as it is, everyone at Barnone (staff, trainers, other campers) are so supportive and really do want you to succeed.
When it comes to changing my fitness level and improving my health, is the best decision I've ever made.

I'm a middle-aged mother of three who needed a serious metabolic boost and jumpstart to get my tired, injured, achy body moving in a healthier direction. I figure I have at least 70 pounds to lose overall, and I just lost my first 23 in my first challenge! I did it without supplements, food substitutions, or crash dieting ... just super-clean eating, portion control and scheduling, and really (really!) hard work in the gym with the help and guidance of expert trainers. They got me moving and working harder than I ever thought possible, modifying and tailoring group exercises as needed to help me safely build strength and recover mobility. I've never done this sort of thing before, and I was a little skeptical (although a friend had recommended the program very highly). I think the camaraderie of new and returning challengers - a group of people at every fitness, weight, and age level, all working individually but supporting one another through the process - is one of the great strengths of the program. The team of trainers and support staff are total pros -- available, attentive, responsive, and encouraging. The schedule (food and exercise) is grueling, but doable, and totally worth it. I'm looking forward to my second challenge, and to maintaining the positive changes I've made in my life for the long haul.

Well I'm not very good expressing myself but, here I go. Before anything I'd like to say that after I had my son, I've had difficulty loosing weight. I tried lots of diets and exercises but nothing seemed to work. It may be because I didn't quite put enough effort or didn't realize how bad my weight was getting. One day I was scrolling through Facebook and came upon a post from BARNONE Training, they were looking for people who wanted to change their current lifestyle. To be honest something caught my eye and I decided to sign up for an orientation, maybe what caught my eye was seeing that the program was free. Most places say they will help you loose weight but requires you to spend a lot of money. I attended the orientation and signed the contract even though I was skeptical about loosing the weight that was required in the contract which was 20lbs. Now my opinion has changed completely, I can now say that making the decision of signing the contract has been the best decision of my life. I have noticed that I feel more energized and I don't feel sleepy as much. In the past I used to have a lot of joint pain mostly on my legs and hands, that has finally gone away.
In addition, I felt I wasn't going to loose the 20 lbs the contract required, I was amazed by what I had lost not only did I lose 20 lbs I lost 24.5 lbs. When someone wants to achieve something and you put the effort and dedication to whatever you want to achieve, you will accomplish anything. In conclusion, I'd like to thank all the training staff for helping and supporting all the challengers to achieve their goals and for being there every time they were needed.
