I am loving my Club Pilates classes. I feel like they are sculpting my body while I've been losing weight and I am very pleased with the results so far. I try to do a mix of class types - Reformer flow, Center and Balance, Suspend, and even Cardio-Sculpt. The teachers at Overland Park West are excellent, giving clear instructions and offering help and adjustments if needed, and the staff are friendly and know my name.

I'm so glad I found Club Pilates a couple of years ago! Even though pilates is low-impact, that doesn't mean its easy. The classes are challenging, and I can always tell I've been the day after. I love using the reformer and I'm amazed how after two years, the instructors can come up with something different to do on them that I haven't done before. No two classes are ever the same and there's plenty of variety. The instructors are great - they know what they're doing and offer modifications if you have any injuries that you need to work around. It's a great, supportive environment!

Club Pilates West Olathe has a Fantastic atmosphere, good music great trainers and everyone is positive and encouraging. You exercise for you. They use the phrase if it feels good to your body then do XYZ. And can quickly give you modifications based on your specific injuries/conditions. Everyone has their own workstation with tons of tools to help make your workout fun. I'm 300 lb and balanced my weight on a ball without breaking it π once I was able to relax I did well and felt stronger and more balanced. I feel muscles I forgot I had. But I don't go home hurting or super tired. It's fun and relaxing at the same time. Don't get me wrong it's not easy easy just low impact slow deliberate movements. You Pick the intensity that feels right for your body. There's no pressure to push yourself too hard. And After going twice weekly x 2 weeks now I can reach my own feet to put the reformer straps on and can walk up stairs without having to hold on to the rail. May not sound like much but it's the little things that make me happy and hey progress is progress no matter how small. They give a free trial class, so come see if Pilates is for you π©·πͺ my next goal:π§

I have been with club pilates for a few years at this location. The staff is polite and welcoming and instructors knowledgeable, accepting and accommodating of all fitness levels. I really enjoy the ease of scheduling and appreciate the convenient times. It is hard to find a workout that fits with my busy schedule and this is perfect.

Staff and instructors are professional, friendly and supportive! I am bothered by vertigo recently, especially when I lay down on the reformer which makes me feel dizzy and nauseous. Instructors Mary and Amber J gave me some advices and tools to help my head feel supportive and reminded me to avoid cervical extension in the neck. And the front desk staff also reminded me to tell instructors about my situation. They are incredibly supportive. I am happy that I can have my workout here and do not feel dizzy afterwards.

Great instructors, friendly participants. Only thing is that I pay for 8 visits per month and often I can't get in (when I am available) the first 2 weeks after my card is charged. I do use the waitlist and often get in that way. Would love to see some options for when this happens -(extending my paid for visits that I am unable to use, donating them to a friend that is not on an unlimited plan, or whatever else you may come up with.

I have only done a couple of classes with Club Pilates, but so far I am loving it! The instructors are super positive, and if you are doing something wrong or CANβT do something, they donβt try to make you feel bad but simply help you! I have scoliosis and canβt do a TON of heaving lifting, so Pilates has really seemed to help where I can get some cardio in! Totally recommend!

Donβt do it! They donβt give you prices until you take a class. Classes are booked so far out that itβs hard to get in. The teachers werenβt helpful and some get annoyed if you are new and donβt understand the poses. They make it hard to cancel your membership - you have to email them for a form and then wait for the form. Then fill out the form email it back and wait for them to acknowledge your cancellation and if you miss the 30 day deadline by a few days they charge you for a full month.

I decided to freeze my account because I started a new job this year in which i travel a lot, and could not make it for all four class credits that I'm charged for with the monthly plan that I have with club pilates (&your class credits do not roll over to the next month). I asked questions about the 'freeze' option while in the studio. Yet I was never given details about other charges you will incur if you decide to cancel once you've frozen your account. I 'froze' my account for I believe a month, maybe two ( you're charged a much lesser fee to 'freeze' the account, instead of your monthly rate). Meanwhile, after freezing the account for at least a month I then also had a life change that was making me sick, and I hadnt seen my doctor (and would not be able to be seen by my doctor for over 4weeks) so I wasn't sure if I would be able to continue with this type of workout so I decided to cancel instead of continuing to be charged with the 'freeze' charge. I call to cancel, and I'm told I have to do so via email. So I try to cancel via email, and this is when I'm told that I can not cancel off of a 'frozen' account. They said my account was supposed to be 'froze' until may, and once they lift the freeze I still can't cancel I have to be charged again for the monthly amount. Even though I was sharing due to my condition, I haven't felt well enough to exercise and not sure I will be able to. I was told that it was in the 'freeze' contract that I received via email. My complaint is that I should have been told in person when I was asking questions in person at the studio, that you cannot cancel from a 'froze' account! To be told after the fact via email is poor customer service to neglect to fully inform your customers! it also feels very misleading to me! Gyms , &places like this, oftem have some sort of hidden fees they neglect to inform their customers of until they have decided to cancel their membership that adds these extra charges when they decide to cancel. In this instance they don't inform you that there will be am addition monthly membership you will incur. I should have been told this verbally! So I could have made a proper decision on how I wanted to move forward, when I thought 'freezing' my account was the best way to go. To be forced to be charged for classes I had communicated I was not sure I could even participate in is poor business practices to me. Especially from a place primarily run by women, &utilized predominantly by women. To receive no understanding in regards to my private issues with health concerns I have been having, & sharing I was not able to take the classes is disappointing & infuriating to me. When I was emailed the 'freeze' contract it also wasn't explained via email that you cannot cancel your account, if end up needing to, from a frozen account! I was informed of all these other details, yet not that I needed to go over this 'freeze contract' because there was actually more to it than what was being communicated to me.
Also as far as diversity of course Johnson county is so limited, & this location has none in the teachers that teach with my experience that i had. I have a friend who lives in OKC who described a much different, enjoyable class experience that was not my same experience in JOCO.

I joined the club 4 months ago. I used to have a lot of lower back pain, and Pilates helped me a lot, no more pain. Staff and instructors are professionals. I worked out regularly when I was younger. Like many, I fell off the workout wagon raising kids and pursuing a career. I have been going twice a week since November and love it! My clothes are fitting better and I feel a lot stronger in my core for the first time after having my daughter 2.5 years ago. The workouts are relaxing like yoga and have minimal impact on joints but are still a good HARD workout. The instructors are great, positive people who give clear instructions and keep classes varied - no two are ever the same. I also like the body positivity: there are all shapes and sizes here, and instructors never use shame/self-hatred as the motivator to keep going. I always feel great after a class!

After knee surgery I was really struggling to get back into my fitness routine. I discovered cycling which was amazing for my cardio, but still lacked strength training. Club Pilates was the perfect solution for this! The low impact exercises have helped toned and strengthen me back to where I was prior to surgery! I would highly recommend this location if you are new to Pilates because they offer many opportunities to help you get a great workout while learning the correct techniques. If you have experience with Pilates, they have a lot of different challenging classes to choose from as well!

I have been attending Club Pilates west Overland Park for about 1 month now.
The instructors are highly educated in pilates.
I feel every part of my body is exercising appropriately, and safe.
The instructors make our workouts so fun and classes go so quickly.

I have never been able to commit to a work out routine because there was nothing that fit me. Gyms are not me, I have tried and wasted a lot of money.
