Wichita is very fortunate to have Gina, Tony and the rest of their instructors. This is the best yoga studio I’ve ever visited. You can feel their passion for yoga/fitness and the classes will make you a better athlete. I’m always shocked at how well their classes translate to running, cycling, lifting and anything life throws at you. Highly recommend Hot Asana!! You won’t regret giving a class a try!

Hot yoga at Hot Asana has been my favorite workout since introduced it over 11 years ago. Gina & her team are by far the best in town bringing you hot yoga in a new & updated way from the music to the community that continues to return year after year.

I started at Hot Asana Yoga Studio in East Wichita unable to do a single push-up without being on my knees. Thanks to regularly attending Hot Yoga Fit and Hot Yoga Inferno, I can now do 30 push-ups in a row with ease! I feel stronger, healthier, and in the best shape of my life. Hot Asana isn’t just yoga; it’s strength, transformation, and a community that truly supports you.

Gina’s Hot Yoga Fundamentals class is perfect whether you’re a first timer or you’re more advanced at yoga. I love that you can modify the poses and flow based on you’re level or how you’re feeling that day. It is great for beginners, and I have noticed great improvement in my flexibility, strength, and balance after going to class consistently.

Hot Asana is the BEST yoga studio, gym, and full-body workout! This is way more than yoga—it’s strength training, cardio, and endurance all in one. Since joining, I’m stronger in my 30s than I’ve ever been.

I love the variety: Hot Yoga Fit builds strength, Hot Yoga Inferno is when I want cardio, and Hot Yoga Fundamentals helps with flexibility and technique. Whether you’re a beginner or an athlete, you will love it!!

The community is so welcoming and supportive, and the instructors are incredible—motivating, knowledgeable, and uplifting. Prices are super reasonable for the high quality you get.

If you’re searching for the best workout- this is it. Looking for a new gym or new workout- it’s at Hot Asana, the ultimate yoga + fitness experience.

The music and playlists are fireeeee, and you can go to either studio with a pass which is a crazy good value!!

Highly recommend!

Hot Asana East has become part of my daily routine. It is something I look forward to everyday, usually in the morning. The instructors are motivating and have helped me become stronger than I have ever been. I usually am at Inferno, Hot Fit or Hot Fundamentals. Hot Fit has given me the push I need to try new things. Hot Fundamentals helps to slow things down while giving me the opportunity to go deeper in all the poses. I know that no matter what class I take I’m going to get a great workout!

Gina doesn’t just teach yoga, she unleashes beast mode. Somehow she makes me hold poses I swore were impossible, and I still leave class smiling (and sweaty). If you want an instructor who pushes you while keeping it fun, Gina’s the one.

For the past 20 yrs, I was busy with work and extracurricular activities for my kids. I didn’t have time for my self at all ! I’ve never done yoga before in my life! Until I was introduced to Gina and I was hooked with her positive energy. Now 4 months later ( doing 3-4 classes a week) I feel stronger and more confident with myself . Check out Hot Asana, I strongly recommend it !! 💪🏻

Great place to get a great workout! The instructors rock and work hard! I started with the free classes and those kick your butt! I personally like the fast paced class but can definitely see where doing a slow paced one would be great, I’ll have to try that in the future! 10/10 recommend if you’re looking for a hot yoga class!!! And the fact they even offer free classes??? Come on!! They rock!

Hot Asana is a gem. This yoga studio has incredible energy, wonderful owners & instructors, and yoga sessions for anyone (all dependent on what you're trying to get out of the class). This is one of those rare places where you automatically smile as you enter the doors because of the warm and positive vibes that immediately surround you. Throughout the years I've been coming, one of the aspects I've enjoyed the most is that every instructor has their own unique style and flow to their class (accompanied by banging playlists). This leads to unique workouts for not just your body, but also your mind and soul. I'm very glad to be part of the Hot Asana Community!

This started as a way for me to cross training for long distances races. Little did I realize, it would turn into something that I can't live without. Any time I'm ever having a rough day, I'm stressed out, or I just want to sweat, this is the place I go. Not only have I become more flexible, become a better athlete, and gained a lot of strength, I ended up meeting so many people I would've never met had I not attended hot yoga classes multiple times a week. Whatever you put into the class is what you're going to get out of the class. It's up to you and you alone to take it to the next level. I really feel this place brings out the potential in all of us. Gina and company certainly brought out the best in me.

Attended off and on for over a year, and I feel I can say with authority as a fitness instructor myself, this is not at all an inclusive environment that promotes fitness for every body. I have attended hot classes at other studios and this is more along the lines of hot extreme fitness. Great for those ready for it. Also not inclusive if you don't run in this owner's clique, which became clear to me was a church group of some sort. If you aren't a Christian, just be prepared for Christian music during shivasana. I found that to be an interesting choice considering I saw no faith based marketing. The owners and most instructors typically only called out and assisted specific students by name that they knew, and I observed those to be the ones that they were friends with. Any other students were usually left to fend for themselves for challenging work and never really called out for moments of encouragement. It is a beautiful studio and I enjoyed going, but I understand how to care and listen for what my body needs. It would concern me for anyone walking in that is new to either fitness or yoga, and isnt a part of the owners select power friend group. I personally feel if you are an instructor, you have an obligation to promote wellness for ALL, not for those that look, sound, act and believe like you do.

Wow! I feel Amazing Hot Yoga just kicked my Bottom 🕉🍑
Who would of thought Kansas would have such a diverse community. I met ladies from England, Australia! Super cool 🤙
I recently moved here the ladies up front helped get me signed up! Gina taught this class. I must say I think I've done Hot Yoga once in my life, it was years ago. It was hot, sweaty, hard and extremely rewarding! I'm so happy I came here. Will be making a point to fit a class or 2 in my weekly schedule. There's two locations East and West! Everybody was welcoming and friendly. 🌺

Would 100% not recommend ever going to this studio. On Black Friday of 2019 I went in for class and left my purse and belongings in the cubby where people may leave their things during class. Apparently they don’t lock the studio doors during classes and leave their front desk unattended, so everyone’s belongings are out for the taking. I had my purse, phone and car stolen that day. The studio refused to cooperate with my insurance company and pay me back for my car deductible fee along with the $1,000+ of belongings in my car and purse.

Went to a power flow class. Everyone there obviously were regulars who loved the class and enjoy what is happening there, but I really have to say- this is not yoga. I can best describe it as yoga crossfit...? Personally, I hated it because I am looking for traditional yoga practice- not a calisthenics workout. If that is what you are looking for, this place is definitely for you. Personally, I will never go back.

Hot asana is not only of the best yoga experiences I’ve had but one of the best workout experiences period! I always feel free to be taught there without feeling out of place. Gina is the bomb and I always walk out of practice feeling like I’ve gotten a great workout without also feeling like I can’t go through the rest of my day. This studio makes me feel energized and challenged all at the same time. I used to hate any form of cardio but I also hated yoga because I would get bored. Hot asana has me in constant motion but they also start off the practice by centering your focus! My mind never wanders from the exercise in the sessions. If you’re looking for something different, I highly recommend this place!

Hot Asana is the best yoga studio I have ever been to. Hands down. I have attended yoga classes in Kansas City, Chicago, Minneapolis and various other large cities and none of them have come close to the community that is Hot Asana. This gem in Wichita, KS remains at the top of my list for yoga studios and fitness studios broadly. All of the instructors are welcoming, personal and so supportive of each individual’s yogi journey. When you attend a class at Hot Asana you see all levels from beginner to the very experienced. The environment is not intimidating, but instead is encouraging and comfortable. When you walk into Hot Asana you are greeted by name and checked in quickly. From there you can drop your things out front or head to the locker room for more personal storage or bathroom/shower amenities. If you forget your mat it’s never a problem one can be rented for $2. Hot Asana also has a very impressive inventory of Manduka mats and towels as well as various other brands of apparel, essential oils and mat sprays, and other necessities for the yoga junkie. There are a variety of ways to be a member either through unlimited class packages or by set a number of classes bundled by package. The studio offers all hot yoga classes, fundamentals or more advanced, lasting either 45 (express) or 60 minutes. Instructors do a great job feeling out the level of the class and tweaking to keep the yogis engaged. Even the harder classes with more advanced yogis are full of recommendations to modify poses to fit each yogis flexibility, strength and comfort zone. One of the best things about Hot Asana is that the community believes in you and your abilities even when you feel you can’t do something. You’re encouraged to keep trying. It’s not uncommon to hear classmates or instructors call out to others with a “great job” or a “one more time you almost had it”. Keep practicing until you believe in yourself enough to achieve your goals. My experience with Hot Asana began on a whim on a random Tuesday night in October but after I attended this studio once I have continued to practice with my fellow yogis at the East locations 3-4 times a week. Each instructor has their own signature touch that they put into each of their classes. After regular attendance you come to know and love the differences in each practice. Gina, Tony and all of the instructors at Hot Asana truly know how to do it right. If you’re looking for a comfortable yoga experience that guarantees to be a hell of a workout Hot Asana is the studio for you.

A great hot yoga studio! They have multiple classes every day of the week and several different teachers, so you’re sure to find a class and instructor that suits what you need. If you’re up for a faster flow to really push your limits, the studio owner, Gina leads a challenging, fun flow. Don’t worry! She cues modifications for a simplified version of poses or if you have an injury. Your first two classes are free and they provide a mat and mat towel for your first class. There’s always a fridge full of complimentary water with good sized locker rooms! Not sure if you can squeeze in a class before work or school because you’d like to rinse off? No problem. This location has a shower in each locker room available for that purpose. Take a look at the schedule, come take a class, bring a friend, and check it out!

Let me start by saying that I’ve been a personal trainer for 3 years. I’ve taught yoga for 2, and been practicing personally for nearly 6. Exercise science is also my degree field, so I am fairly well versed in yoga, and very well versed in anatomy, physiology, and what’s good and bad for the body.

The heat was the perfect temperature, and there were some interesting transitions that I would love to corporate into my personal practice. Beyond that, the class I attended consisted very little that could be compared to “yoga.”

There was lots of chattering before class started, and the instructor didn’t introduce herself or take charge of the class at all before jumping into studio announcements, followed by the sequence. The pace of the class was lightning speed, hardly giving any muscles the chance to lengthen and relax in a posture, much less find your breath within. Speaking of breath, there were very few breathing cues and the instructor (who I don’t think had ever read or studied any kind of yoga sequencing philosophy or teachings) seemed to be more interested in seeing how many times she could encourage the attendees to get upside down or work their “core” in a class, than safely instructing students how to work up to more advanced postures. I saw an older gentleman in a lizard variation that looked like it was going to break his ankle and damage his knee if he stayed in it for any amount of time, and the instructor didn’t take notice that he was in an unsafe position. There were no recognizable vinyasas, and few cues about alignment within postures (even simple ones like Warrior 2), but I guess that doesn’t matter much when you barely stay in a posture for as long as a breath.

I attended and worked at Firefly, a studio that was in business at this location several years ago. That place was a far cry from whatever it is that I walked into today. All in all, a HUGE disappointment, and I’m just glad that the first class was free. If you’re into an odd yoga/extreme work-out hybrid, then full steam ahead. If you’re looking for a yoga practice to give you peace and leave feeling refreshed, this place is not for you.

I was so excited to learn that Hot Asana opened a studio on the east side of town! I went to their grand opening on the west side; and for the better part of three years I braved rush hour traffic from east to west Wichita, in commutes that sometimes took 45 minutes or more, to practice at Hot Asana with Gina, Cristy, and their crew. I cannot offer a higher compliment than to say that the quality of their yoga--mind, body, spirit; they cultivates all three--at Hot Asana is so strong that I spent approximately an hour and a half traveling east to west as many as three to four days per week to practice there. Now, with an east side studio, my commute is less than 10 minutes! (I still go to their Monday 6:15 p.m. class out west, which is crazy challenging!) If you want to build a healthy yoga practice supported by a community of wonderful people, check out Hot Asana!

I didn't expect to like hot yoga because I didn't expect to like the heat. I don't care much for 99° days, so why would I like the studio to be that hot? And yet, I was hooked after the very first class. There's something about that extra heat that changes the experience, pushes you harder, deepens the practice. I've found the class schedule convenient despite the fact that I work somewhat unusual hours. The instructors do a great job of providing modifications for poses so yogis can dial the intensity and difficulty up or down in relation to personal skill level. And the frozen towel on the forehead during savasana is wickedly divine.

I'm originally from the Washington DC area and enjoy a hot, vinyasa style, fast-paced practice with the option to work on more challenging poses. When I initially moved to Wichita, I tried a few studios but none of them were exactly what I was looking for.

Happily, Hot Asana on the East side of town opened up in the end of 2017 and I have found my studio and my people! The owner and staff are very welcoming, and the individual instructors all offer different and fun flows which keep me coming back for more. If you enjoy a hot (and sweaty!), fun, fast paced flow with a supportive yogi community then Hot Asana might just be the right studio for you!
