Strength:30 at Hot Asana Yoga Studio in West Wichita is the perfect 30-minute heated strength workout. Every week I’m able to challenge myself with planks, push-ups, and lunges in the 99°F studio. The heat pushes me further, and the supportive community keeps me coming back. Tough, enjoyable, and empowering—Strength:30 has helped me improve week after week!

First hot yoga class in 5 years and it hurt so good just like remember it. Gina was an excellent instructor, kept the pace going and provided multiple options for each pose or exercise. If you are curious take a free fundamentals class rent a mat for $2 and a towel for $3 if you don’t have them! It will be worth every penny. Oh, and don’t leave room, just rest on your back or child’s pose.

I get asked daily what I do for exercise, and no, I don’t lift weights at the gym. Hot Asana Yoga in Wichita has completely transformed my body! I’m short on time and not a fan of the overuse injuries associated with chronic cardio. The bodyweight strength training in classes like Hot Yoga Fit and Hot Yoga Inferno has pushed me further than and other type of fitness training…and I’ve tried them all. Bodybuilding/body pump, spin, Pilates, marathons, crew, hit classes. The effects of heat on cardiac endurance mimic cardio training without the inflammation. Gina is like my own personal trainer as she incorporates progressive overload movements and new exercises/formats to keep the body guessing. 💪 I love the challenge, the energy, and the heat—it’s the ultimate way to stay in peak condition. These are truly the best heated fitness classes in Wichita if you want to get stronger, leaner, and more resilient in all areas. I’m hooked.

Hot Asana is the BEST yoga studio, gym, and full-body workout! This is way more than yoga—it’s strength training, cardio, and endurance all in one. Since joining, I’m stronger in my 30s than I’ve ever been.

I love the variety: Hot Yoga Fit builds strength, Hot Yoga Inferno is when I want cardio, and Hot Yoga Fundamentals helps with flexibility and technique. Whether you’re a beginner or an athlete, you will love it!!

The community is so welcoming and supportive, and the instructors are incredible—motivating, knowledgeable, and uplifting. Prices are super reasonable for the high quality you get.

If you’re searching for the best workout- this is it. Looking for a new gym or new workout- it’s at Hot Asana, the ultimate yoga + fitness experience.

The music and playlists are fireeeee, and you can go to either studio with a pass which is a crazy good value!!

Highly recommend!

Hot asana has been a wonderful addition to balance out my fitness routine. In just a few months of semi-regular weekly practice, I have noticed improvements with better ROM when weightlifting. My cardio endurance has improved drastically and I can control my breathing without really thinking about it when running (from 5ks to over 10k easily with the help of hot yoga!). Plus, it’s just fun to see progress each week with flexibility and balance! Gina’s fundamentals class is a whole vibe and I love it!

Hot Asana is one of my favorite places to be and I cannot recommend it enough! I’ve done a lot of different workouts and attended a number of fitness studios and hot yoga at Hot Asana has kept me coming back religiously. I attend classes almost daily and still find new ways to push myself and level up the workout.

Not only do classes challenge me physically, but they are a great way for me to release the stress from my workday and I always feel better after sweating it all out. There’s nothing like the feeling after class and I can truly say I’ve never regretted a workout here.

Both the instructors at Hot Asana and the community of those attending classes are top notch. I’ve met some great friends throughout the classes and enjoy seeing the friendly faces both before and after classes. It really is a community atmosphere and everyone is always welcome, the more the merrier (and hotter!).

Depending upon what I’m in the mood for, depends on the class I sign up for. Gina’s classes are always a challenging experience but leave you feeling stronger. Tony’s classes are a great way to start your day, and the 45 minute express class is a quick way to get the endorphins flowing before jumping into your work day. There’s also the hot blast that is a short class but still leaves you feeling like you got a full workout in!

If you’ve ever thought about trying hot yoga—this is the place to come!

"Hot Asana Yoga has quickly become a favorite for many of my clients, family, and myself! Located conveniently close to my RE/MAX Premier office, it’s the perfect place to unwind and recharge. A lot of my clients make it a part of their routine, stopping by for a yoga session either before or after meeting with me. The instructors are amazing, and the atmosphere is always welcoming. Whether you’re a seasoned yogi or just starting out, Hot Asana Yoga offers a peaceful, rejuvenating experience that we can’t recommend enough. It’s a gem in Wichita, and I’m proud to have it so close!"

Hot Asana has changed my life! When I started a year ago, I struggled to do a lot of the moves. The instructors were helpful, patient, and motivating. I have only felt encouraged by every single instructor. Classes are really challenging, but I love that the culture is one of “do what you can, not do everything.” You get this incredible feeling of pushing through hard stuff that makes you feel stronger and more capable of facing hard stuff outside the studio. The community is also such a crucial piece of Hot Asana. I have been going 5-6 a week for a year and can say without a doubt you will love any class you take.

UPDATE 1.30.2019 Still clicking along another year later. Same great place, same great people with a multitude of options for your practice. It's been another family in the making since 3.2016. Hope it continue for us - as well as many others!

My wife and I started attending Hot Asana in March of 2016 after talking to a Dr about ways to improve our running and possibly avoid run related injuries. The practice has become part of our exercise routine and we love it! The staff is always inviting, friendly, and will push you as far as you'd like to be pushed in your own personal practice but will continually remind you to, "just do you." Workshops and events are part of the game at Hot Asana and further build the community both in and out of the studio. There are a variety of classes offered at multiple times of the day so there's really no excuse to not drop in and check it out. It's a great place with great people!

Practicing yoga at Hot Asana is fun! This is a great studio and I have yet to come across another yoga studio that provides as challenging and as positive of an experience as Hot Asana, anywhere else in Kansas or Colorado. This studio truly does a great job of meeting people where they are at in their practice. Everyone can be challenged at Hot Asana and everyone is enough.

I have been going to Hot Asana consistently for around 3 years. The atmosphere is amazing and the instructors continuously push you to new level that you didn't believe were possible.
Each instructor has their own unique flow so if you never get tired of the same class. All of the instructors work very hard to learn your name and your personality. So you many come for the yoga but stay for the friendships you make along the way.
The yoga studio has many different types of classes available and many different times available. It does get very hot but the cold towel at the end is magical. The first two classes are free so there is no harm in trying.

I love the classes at Hot Asana! A little over 3 years ago I first walked into Hot Asana after trying a few other studios in town. I was hooked almost instantly due to the knowledgable instructors, convenient schedules, and welcoming community.
I have been to a few of the different class descriptions offered, and each has its own benefit and has helped to challenge and make me stronger. Every instructor has their own style and even within the classes it varies to where the flow doesn’t get too repetitive. Love Hot Asana! Started out with trying yoga just as a way to mix up my regular workout routines and relieve stress and tension, but have found so much more in my practice than I expected. Yoga has brought more strength, patience, mindfulness and gratitude into my life and I couldn't ask for a better studio to practice in. The instructors are great at explaining and giving "options" throughout classes so that everyone can find their own practice and challenge themselves where they can, and scale back as needed. I'm thankful for Hot Asana, it has become part of my weekly routine to become stronger and healthier. Little does the staff know that for the past few years they've been helping me battle anxiety & depression. When I was diagnosed with this it took everything in me to get up off the couch and do something for me. I sporadically struggled to make it through one class. Per the doctor's orders I had to do something to take care of myself. Yoga was one of many tools I found helpful. Three years later and I'm feeling stronger, more consistant, and more confident to take risks. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable, & always learning. They encourage when it's difficult. They offer corrections to keep you safe and make you better. It's clean and inviting, even on a really packed day. Love my time spent here!

Hot Asana Yoga Studios are a true treasure, a beautiful place to practice yoga. We are the blessed ones to be able to have them here in Wichita, Kansas. I am forever grateful to Gina, Cristy and their husbands for taking this leap of faith and opening these two studios here. Do yourself a wonderful favor and give the studios a try, plus your first two classes are absolutely FREE!! There are so many class times and levels of classes to choose from, also lots of great workshops and special events to attend. I have been attending classes here since they opened and was so inspired by Gina, taking classes she taught before she opened Hot Asana. The studios are very upbeat, filled with so much positive energy and friendly vibes. We are a yoga community, a family there and everyone is so friendly and awesome to be able to come together to practice yoga. All of the teachers are simply AMAZING, their cues for poses and class flows are perfect, they are very encouraging and offer modifications, their love for yoga shines through in their classes. So even if you have never attended a yoga class before or are looking to advance and strengthen your practice, Hot Asana Yoga Studios will be the perfect choice for you. I am a definite believer in the healing hot yoga provides; physically, mentally and emotionally. It is never too late to start feeling this incredible and taking care of you, my only regret is that I waited until I was in my 40s to start. I feel calm, balanced, challenged and stronger than ever and knowing that I am enough, on and off my mat, yoga has been life changing for me. “It’s not about doing everything, just everything that you can.”

I have been practicing at Hot Asana since the day they opened and I am certain there is no studio, community, or yoga family like it! The instructors, especially the owner, will push you to what you think is your limit and then ask you to push a little harder, and that is what it takes to "make the impossible possible" which is what the studio is all about. There is a variety of teachers brining their own version of a challenging vinyasa flow. If you are new to yoga I highly recommend taking a close look at the schedule and hitting up one of their fundamentals classes or even one of the workshops they offer monthly! Most of their regular weekly classes are a little faster paced and starting with the fundamentals class will give you the foundation you need to move through the more challenging flows safely with confidence. Remember that every teacher is simply there to guide you through your practice offering ideas and structure, you take what you want and leave what you don't! If you have any doubts about the studio, just remember your first two classes are free, you have nothing to lose!

I absolutely love this place! I began attending yoga about 4 months ago and I can't stop. The benefits of practicing here are unlimited. I've gained newfound confidence, strength, patience, and forgiveness. The instructors are amazing, the people are encouraging, and the prices are affordable. Hot Asana is the place for you if you like to get sweaty and work hard! Give it a try and see what benefits you'll reap. The first two classes are free!

Hot Asana Yoga Studio is a wonderful, clean and friendly studio. The owners are caring, genuine people who value all their yogis and make them feel welcome. The studios provide a variety of yoga classes and offer many opportunities to grow in your practice through work shops and fun community events with knowledgeable instructors. I never hesitate to ask for help and look forward to coming back. Hot Asana Yoga Studio is definitely making the community of Wichita greater; it has been a great journey to see this place grow!

First went to Hot Asana to bond with my now mother-in-law and now here I am, 2+ years later and I'm going 3-4 times a week. I love how the teachers at Hot Asana know how create a truly all levels class by giving options depending on your skill level. I always thought yoga was just for the hippie types but it has become a HUGE part of my life and I can't thank this studio enough!

I have gone to a class at Hot Asana almost every single day for the last two months, and can't think of a single reason why I would ever stop. The cost is insanely low for such a high quality studio, and the instructors are awesome and kind and encouraging.

Seriously, just come to a class or two, because the first two are free and it WILL change your life.

Hot Asana Yoga Studio is a gem in Wichita. In 2016, I was having back spasms from an old injury from the Marine Corps. I was forced to go to the doc for pain meds on a regular basis and was losing my ability to work out and enjoy life. I decided to make a change and take a chance on yoga, having only ever done it a few times in the past.

Gina and all the instructors at Hot Asana are so encouraging and willing to help. The workouts have definitely improved my overall health and I haven’t had a back spasm since starting here in March 2017. I’ve done things in these classes I didn’t think I could do and am continually motivated to get better. I can’t imagine life without it now.

I resisted going only because I didn't think it would be enough of a challenge for me. Boy was I wrong! I am addicted and it has helped my tight hip flexers and sciatic pain. I am so glad I finally decided to try Hot Asana Yoga Studio.

I attended this place after reading the description of the instructors. I wish I had read the information about it first before attention but thought that I would be a follower instead of a leader which was a bad assumption in this case. First of the instructor has only been a part of a training for 200 hours and I personally believe that just because you go through a teacher training once doesn't mean you have the full understanding of being able to teach a yoga class the way it is intended to be taught. The owner does do a great job getting personal with you and goes around class touching each student to help them feel their pose but there is a lot more to yoga then hot towels that smell good and handstands. if you are looking for a core work out then check the place out but if you are looking for proper yoga that makes you feel yoga and listen to your body go somewhere else. I wasn't happy with my experience and noticed that is may be a trend or fad for people to be coming here but it isn't a place that I would call yoga.
If you go on google and type in define yoga it is:
"A Hindu spiritual and ascetic discipline, a part of which, including breath control, simple meditation, and the adoption of specific bodily postures, is widely practiced for health and relaxation."
I did not get that at all here. It isn't relaxing nor is it healthy to just jump into poses and attempt to do something you haven't worked toward. Just keep in mind just because your neighbor can do it doesn't mean you can. You should be able to move into poses with the right mind set with out hurting yourself.

Sometimes not everything is everyone's cup of tea. I experienced my first visit at the east side location that is also owned by the same people. I was pleased with the set up and appearance of the entire place. They do a good job with their first impression catering to their customers. What really through me when I first entered into the room was, people are not quiet. They were chit chatting it up with anyone around them instead of out in the hall. I have been to other studios in town that ask their students to keep it quiet when first entering into the space of where the practice is. Nope not here, you can expect a friendly chat with your neighbor, I personally prefer the quietness or the whispering sounds instead of the loud sounds before and right when class begins. After attending my first class I personally was not in favor of the style they taught. They do a very fast pace movement through the beginning to the end of class. I felt like I didn't have time to feel my pose and enjoy it as I perfect it. Then they did a handful of things that I wish they would have gone into better explanation because after a couple hours after class I could feel a pain that I would have been more aware of to prevent the injury. Expect the class to be extremely hot, which is fine. The owner does a great job at what she demonstrates herself and shows how extremely well she is at her skill. I didn't get the feel of relaxation in the class, more of a stress and pressure to rush through things and achieve something that isn't part of my daily practice.

I do have to say though at the end of class when you are in shavasana they passed out a towel with a beautiful scent of essential oils placed on your for heard. It really helped cool the body down and prepare it for those few minutes of relaxation before class was over.
The group of people that do work here are super nice and welcoming. They have a strong following f people who attend their classes both east and west side. If you do choose to come here, take a towel with you because you will sweat a lot along with a bottle of water to continue hydrating yourself during and after class. Every yoga teachers practice and interoperation is different and how the present it to people so while this place was totally not for me maybe you may be interested in it if you're looking more for a quick routine that is fast paced. I personally like to gain my strength through slow movement to grow strength in the muscle instead of rushing through those difficult moments. There just a stronger gain and balance in the body through the method of training I like vs this one.

I absolutely love Hot Asana! It's the best workout in town and it caters to all levels. Gina's classes are the hardest, so if you're a beginner, you may want to start in another class and work your way up to her classes! I'm completely addicted!!!

Not a good place to go. They do not help you in their basic class. So if you are new to yoga this is not the place to go.

My favorite local yoga studio! Gina and all of the Hot Asana instructors do an excellent job. It's a great place from beginners to highly experienced yogis to practice and be educated. I only wish I could get in every day!

The owners of this group are absolutely the worst when it comes to dealing with competitive vendors, they don't care how they spend their money so how could they care how you spend yours as a customer !

Hot Asana is quite possibly the best place to practice yoga in the city! The owners, Cristy and Gina, are talented teachers who are mindful of their class and exude an admirable understanding of the practice of yoga. The classes I've attended have been never less than amazing. The instructors really grasp what the practice of yoga means to the students in each class in, in each setting, how to push them to uninmagined limits, and how to get students to take something from the class to incorporate it into their own personal practice. I've been classes from nearly all of the instructors, and am currently getting my 200 hour certification from Gina and Hot Asana. There are not enough kind words to say about this amazing space with educated teachers, open minded practitioners, and loving messages which prove impactful for not only myself but many of the other students I know of who regularly attend Hot Asana yoga classes.

I went to Hot Asana with a group party. I had attended a handfull of yoga classes before. Some were even taught by Hot Asana founder, Gina. She has really created quite an experience at her studio. Every aspect, the facility, the equipment, the flow of the routine, the music, the lighting, the climate control, even the aromas make it an exceptional good time. This is definitely a "cool thing to do" in Wichita. If you have interest in fitness and yoga be sure to check it out and take a friend.

UPDATE: I felt the studio has made strides to accommodate more levels, and be aware of beginners when instructing more difficult poses. Additionally, they've added more classes to accommodate more flexibility. PREVIOUS: I like most of what Hot Asana offers when I first started going. At the time, the only thing I disliked was the mirror- I felt myself battling my inner voice about my self image struggles. But I loved the cool cloth at the end, and I enjoy a challenging workout. The more I kept going, to the Level 1 class, which seems should be a beginner class (though I've done beginner yoga and hot yoga before, I've gotten out of shape and weigh more than I did back then), but the pace of the flow is so fast, I find it difficult to really feel like I'm doing anything correctly, and I worry about injuries. Additionally, there are quite a few more advanced poses, like Warrior 3 and Crow, that they lead you through. This seems like it would be more appropriate for the Level 2 class, and I don't feel strong enough to go through these poses. I'm not sure if they're catering more to the more advanced attendants in class, or if they just think it's a good challenge for beginners.
On 3/25, I had gotten my 2nd chiropractic adjustment for the week for an issue with my 1st rib and C6/C5 neck vertebrae, and finally gotten some relief from pain. My chiropractor said I was good to do yoga, and he even encourages it, but we did so many arm swings that evening in class, I felt my 1st rib on both sides pop back out of place, and the pain returned. So, that was frustrating too.
I had contacted the owner about a month ago with my concerns, which she replied to, suggesting I take private lessons and attend one of her classes. Well, yesterday's class was taught by her, and I found it more difficult and frustrating than with the original instructor.
If you're capable of advanced yoga, you will love Hot Asana, because it will challenge you. But I would not recommend it for beginners. It is intimidating and does not cater to building the strength a beginner needs to build to be able to do the advanced yoga positions.
