IMPACT Gymnastics has been part of our family’s story since my daughter was little!
She first fell in love with gymnastics at open gym, and over the years has grown through classes and now competitive gymnastics — all right here at IMPACT. What I love most is how Kristin (owner) and her team of coaches balance fun, safety, and skill-building so beautifully.
I completely trust Kristin and her staff to create an environment that not only challenges the athletes physically, but also nurtures their confidence, resilience, and character. It’s clear that every coach genuinely cares about the kids — they celebrate their progress, encourage them through tough days, and always model integrity and positivity.
IMPACT Gymnastics isn’t just a gym — it’s a community that shapes strong, kind, and capable young athletes. I couldn’t be more grateful for the role it’s played in my daughter’s growth!

We Love attending Impact gym! We joined on the recommendation of another mum, and have been taking our daughter for about 9 months. She was shy and apprehensive at first but she loved the teachers, the pace of the classes and all the technical moves she's learning. She talks about Impact gym with everyone she meets. The teachers are kind and respectful, you can watch every part of the class, it always starts and ends on time and they are always cleaning! I am sure we will be sticking with Impact gymnastics for a long time.

Our two kids have been doing gymnastics & ninjastics here for some time. They love their teachers, the fun activities, and coming weekly. Their skills have continued to grow! They love doing this recreationally. As a parent, I love that there’s a seating area that I can watch them throughout their class - kids love showing off their skills. We have had 1 birthday party here, and that was also great! Love having this place so close by!

Impact Gymnastics is a great program for kids of any age or level to learn about gymnastics and grow in their abilities. The owner, team coaches, and staff are top notch and truly care for the athletes on a more personal level that resonates with the kids. They live up to their name on making a positive Impact. Highly recommended for anyone looking to learn more about gymnastics.

My 5 year old boy has been taking Saturday classes for a little over a year now and has really enjoyed it. I do also love the flexibility that they will allow a missed class to apply to open gym time. I just enrolled my 22 month old in the toddler class and he is loving it as well.
I do wish there was a little more structure in the preschool skill building to know if he’s ready for the next class but he’s enjoying it and will likely stay in the level 1 preschool class until he’s ready to move up to the boys only class at 6

My daughters have attended for nearly 8 years and have really enjoyed it. Instructors do seem to do a good job with the the kids. It's a busy facility and often hectic between classes. They do birthdays and other special events as well.

My daughter has been going here for over a year now, and she enjoys it so much. It’s a good price and helps get some of her energy out. Plus, it’s just really cool to have a kid who can do cartwheels and such. Definitely recommend.

We’ve been attending Impact gymnastics with Coach Sarah for the past 18 months. We recently moved up in age groups and get to enjoy the help of two other coaches, Jamie and Rachel. These women are WONDERFUL with children. They give them grace to learn at their own pace but also push them to do their best - all while keeping it fun! If you are looking to enroll your child i would highly recommend Impact. Prices are fair and affordable. We look forward to gymnastics each week!

I’m a nanny that has been bringing kids here for years to participate in open gym. It’s a great place to bring toddlers when the weather is bad and they need to move their bodies to blow off steam. This place helps guarantee a good nap after lunch! Highly recommend!

Unbelievably awful service. Employees are not in communication with each other about free play or camp hours. We were told numerous times after confirming that open play would be available on Tuesday and Thursdays from 1-2:30pm. I asked MULTIPLE times to confirm that it wasn’t for the camp and it’s for everyone and free play. Once arriving the staff lied to me about that they never said that over the phone (they said this multiple times even with confirmation). The staff need to be at least on the same page about their hours so they aren’t spreading false information to the public (this has happened multiple times over the past years of the staff not being in communication with another). This is crazy how these same issues are prevalent years later.

We attended Open Play for ages 3-13 with my three- and seven-year-old kids. Fun for kids, nerve-wracking for their parents.
They do not allow parents on the gym floor but only have 2 staff (they said there was a third but I never saw them) supervising a massive area which includes advanced gymnastics equipment. Their website says there is plenty of supervision for Open Play / Parent's Night Out; I fail to see how 50+ pre-teens to 2 adults qualifies as adequate.
Meanwhile, their "parent corral" balcony does not provide line of sight to much of the premises, including kids being able to wander out of the gym area.
About a dozen parents, myself included, chose to ignore their no-parent policy in favor of keeping our kids safe and supervised. This resulted in me having two arguments with two different staff members; they eventually capitulated and allowed parents on the gym floor "for this time only" since we had already paid, the kids were excited, and they did not want to refund me.
We will not go back now that we know how inadequate their staffing actually is alongside a nonsensical no-parent policy.
Edit (responding to their response) 3/13/2025 - They refunded my card. It was charged, and then after I posted reviews they returned my payment. Saying "your card was never charged" is a lie.
Additionally, the crux of my issue is that they advertise "adequate" supervision for children 3-13. Two employees charged with keeping 50+ kids safe is NOT adequate.

We were there for someone’s 5-year old birthday party and there was literally zero oversight and parents basically managed the places where kids were more likely to get hurt. It just didn’t feel safe for younger kids. There were some really young kids — high-school age maybe — that just stood there and looked at older kids running over the younger ones.
Adding after the "owner's" response: instead of your excuses or suggesting that parents complain about the staff, how about you run the comments through chatGPT, identify a recurring theme and actually fix it? If you read the reviews, year over year parents are complaining about the same things over and over again.

Very friendly staff! We were enrolled in summer classes for our 3 and 5 year old boys, same class time but different classes. They expertly guided our kiddos through learning lots of new skills and made sure to use the class time wisely despite the census, we plan to try out some summer camps too and have only dealt with friendly faces and great customer service! We had paid tuition on accident as we entered into school starting in September and we were able to convert it to open play sessions, which we still enjoy regularly!! Great punch card option as well. My kiddos love it here!

Spoke with an employee about switching to another class time because my availability changed during summer. Needed to see if another class would work in the evening-they only offer classes for younger students earlier during the day.
Poor Staff communication when it came to trying out classes, i asked permission to try a class my daughter wasn't quite aged into. Even knowing her age, they set me up with a trial class, the instructors confirmed her skill set was aligned with the class, but then decided they didn't want to allow her to enroll because of her age. Just wish i would have known that when I had asked up front and it would have saved us all time.
Because i had spoken to employees instead of writing an email with my request, they didn't honor my request to drop at the time and had to pay the full month. Yes, there is a policy, but situations change and peoples schedules aren't always predictable. Overall just poor customer service, they just don't care to keep their students.

Update 8/2/2023- spoke to someone at emerald city, they apologized for what happened and thanked me for letting them know about the incident so that they can better prepare next time. The person I spoke to mentioned that area SHOULD have been covered during open play.
(Original) - I've been here twice. The second time we had an incident with one of our children.
I'm posting this so that your supervising staff can better prepare next time or cover the area during open play where the incident occurred.
My husband and I , along with other parents, were sitting on the top area (bleachers). We took both our kids this day for weekend open play (7/15). We could see most of the play area. At one point we could no longer locate our 4.5 year old. So we yelled at our 6 y.o. to see if he could see/find his brother. Our 6 y.o. starts crying and pointing to an area close by the rope swing/foam pit, so immediately we knew our kid had to be in there - stuck. No time to waste and my husband ran downstairs into the play area towards the area our other child pointed to. Husband located our child in an area that was about 6 feet deep (not exactly sure on depth but my husband struggled to get out himself after pulling our child out). The area was empty but deep. Not sure how our son got in there. Not sure if he jumped or fell. But he was scared and panicked that he couldn't get out.
One of your supervising staff (teen) apologized and said she didn't see him go in there. Again, I'm just writing this so that you guys can do better next time being that it was during a scheduled time that parents aren't allowed on the floor.

This place is amazing, most bad reviews are from people who dong understand what a gym is. The coaches can watch your kids, for you and you can see your kids fine from where the seats are. This place is fun and great for kids to play or practice gymnastics. The place may need work done to it but in my opinion, you can deal with it. The place doesn't make very much money anymore but they're still open and trying. STOP POSTING BAD REVEIWS WHEN IT'S NOT BAD AT ALL. Your acting like a Karen. THANK YOU

Great place to take your kids when they are bored. Free play on Saturday is from 1-230p for 10$ a kid. And there's another one that starts around 5 I think. They love it there. Gets the energy out. They also do birthday parties and have little party rooms for rent.

Will never return! Our Autistic Child was turned away to play because they refused to let one of us walk near and monitor him to keep him safe! The Staff was absolutely horrible and rude and prior to us getting kicked out one of the girls spent the whole time literally screaming at kids to “follow rules” they absolutely discriminated against my son and refused to make any exception to let him play even though other parents were aloud on the floor!!!!! We were attending a birthday party! The whole experience was disgusting and they should honestly be shut down! Horrible and Sad! Please Be advised before going here!! Was dirty as well!

The photos speak for themselves. I took these on January 16th, 2022. I used to bring my daughter here 4 years ago and the bathrooms have looked the same. This is the only open place I can take my daughter that doesn’t have a waitlist. Absolutely disgraceful. The owner must of died and nobody has been keeping up with it. There is no way you can own a place and not know the sanitary conditions of your facility. The men’s is identical, my husband used it the same day. If you’re restrooms look like this, you are cutting corners EVERYWHERE. What a joke. These are our children that have to use these filthy restrooms, it’s unbelievable. I’ll continue to share these pictures on social media until it’s fixed.

Oh man, this place is amazing. I brought my 6 year old here for Open Play today, and she was in love. I’m always on the hunt for new places to take my kids. This place checks all my boxes: 1) Kid loves it, 2) Wears my kid out, 3) Good bang for your buck. I really appreciated that this place isn’t fancy, but rather VERY functional. A lot of thought was put into the layout of the play area, which really enhances the kids’ experience.

The staff was very nice and if your child is interested in gymnastics it might be worth a look..BUT DO NOT even think about going to this place if you have pet allergies! We scheduled a birthday party for my daughter and found out (before the party) they also have pet adoptions there. Cost us a $50 deposit to find this out. The facility is a low class skyzone in a not so easy to get to location with less than comparable equipment. Not worth looking at for Birthday events especially if you or your child has pet allergies. Either book skyzone or buy a trampoline and have the party at your home and you’ll come out cheaper and happier!!

Was a parent at a bday party there. Though it is nice for kiddos to blow off steam/energy it's complete chaos...especially when 2 parties are booked at same time. Staff had too many rules to remember for kiddos. If they want traffic control, then they need to be on the floor doing such. I actually used my teacher words to direct an activity or two because another parent thought their child did nothing wrong (after the fact). Yes, it's a gym but also hot and humid in there. The party room after playtime was small and cramped with one little fan for airflow, ug! My child was not as brave as some and I got scolded for helping him w/ an activity. I saw staff on the floor only twice during play... and one was during my scolding. Not impressed.
