If you are looking for a gymnastics club in the Wichita area, I highly recommend JAG. There are many things we appreciate about JAG. First and foremost, they care about the gymnast’s physical and mental health. We have personally witnessed their coaching style get athletes through any mental block stages with grace. Not forcing the skills and putting the athlete in harms way just to get the skill for the meet season. They also understand that gymnastics is for all girls, and they specifically leverage both XCEL and DP programs for each gymnast to maximize their individual success. Ensuring success isn’t always about the scores and results, but focusing on the gymnast’s performance and small individual goals that are set. We are also pleased with the sisterhood and friendships that are made. Over the years we have seen gymnasts come from other gyms and have immediately been accepted as one of their own, which is always encouraging to see.
Now on the competitive side. The owners and coaches are great. They know what it takes to win. They are very professional and serious when it comes to the image of JAG. The routines that are created for each gymnast are amazing and can compete with the best clubs in the country. The coaches are very experienced and some who have competed at the college-level.
The last thing I want to mention, which has been my favorite thing about JAG. Is they are constantly challenging the gymnast who are ready to pick up new skills. If your gymnast is talented and makes gymnastics look easy. They will continue to coach new skills and advance the gymnast to where they are competing at the highest possible level.

I can’t say enough wonderful things about JAG Gymnastics and the incredible impact they’ve had on my daughter’s confidence and self-esteem. From the moment we walked through their doors, the coaches welcomed her with open arms and a genuine belief in her potential.
Over time, I’ve watched her grow not just in her gymnastics skills, but in how she carries herself in everyday life. The supportive and encouraging environment at JAG has helped her realize what she’s capable of physically, and that strength has truly translated into how she sees herself as a person. She now holds her head a little higher, walks a little taller, and believes in herself more than ever before.
The coaches are so much more than instructors. They are mentors, role models, and confidence builders. They celebrate progress, big and small, and make each gymnast feel valued and empowered. My daughter always leaves the gym smiling, proud of what she’s accomplished, and eager to take on the next challenge.
Thank you, JAG, for helping my daughter find her strength not just in gymnastics, but in herself. 💙

My daughter started at JAG with little experience and was taught, coached and prepared to move up to the team. She has been competing for three years now and really loves it. We feel respected when making big decision about which teams to do and no pressure to do anything except what is best for our gymnast. We appreciate the coaches and the individual attention they give in helping gymnasts improve their skills and experience life lessons. (At a meet once, my daughter needed another hair tie to stabilize her hair and the coach lent her one. She brought that hair tie to every single meet for the rest of the season because it became my daughter's "lucky hair tie." She gave it to her after the regional meet this year. And this little thing meant a lot to my daughter showing that she was cared about.)

My daughter has been a member of JAG gymnastics since she was 6 years old. She started in classes and quickly moved to team. She is competing for her last year this year as a senior in high school. She also helps teach preschool classes and coaches the bronze level team. I think it speaks volumes about the gym and atmosphere that she willingly spends over 30 hours a week at the gym. JAG has instilled a strong work ethic in her while also building life long friendships with her teammates.

If you would have asked me a year and half ago I would have absolutely recommended this program. The kids had a teacher that they connected with and loved going to gymnastics. After the teacher moved away it has been a constant rotation of teachers. You can imagine how that goes for a group of toddlers. After talking with the director about 6 months ago we were told moving forward that the teacher would remain the same. This was not the case. The director would come in the middle of class and kick the kids out of the class if the had a parent with them, or crying, etc. Several parents pulled their kids out. We decided to stick it out and hope it got better. Again not the case. My kids were terrified to go to gymnastics. Not once did anyone try to work with them to improve behavior or explain what they should be doing or even to build a relationship with them. They resulted to kicking them out of class. Then the last class of the month a comment was made prior to class even starting about being goofy would get you kicked out of class. This upset my toddler who ended up leaving class. We stayed after and met with the teacher. I explained my frustration with her. She sat down and talked to my daughter and made a plan moving forward. Later that night I receive an email that due to my child running out of the room everytime she is asked to do something that my kids are not welcomed back effective the end of month. 1. The glass that seperates the class and the lobby is thin and we can hear when they are threatened to be kicked out of class or when they are kicked out of class. 2.The first time you express any concern is in an email that you are ending the enrollment. 3. I was in the facility 3 hours prior and not once did anyone say anything to me in person. Instead they waited until we had completed our last class for the month and they were closed for the day to send an email. The communication within this organization is lacking and what you do get is unprofessional. If you want your child to feel bullied by adults than this might be a perfect fit for you. These are not the type of role models that I want my kids learning from.

My daughter was in the little sparklers class for about a year and a half. At first we really liked it. Then the teacher left without any notice to the parents. Over the next 8 weeks, 4 different teachers rotated through the class. There was no structure and no warning. Kids starting acting out and management lied to the parents saying it had been the same teacher the whole time and it was just that the kids needed to get used to the teacher. They started kicking parents out of the class only giving the reason that "it was an independent class". I am extremely disappointed in how they handled the whole situation so I pulled my daughter from the class. If you value communication, structure and leadership in the class your children are in, I no longer recommend this place.

Very disappointed in this company. All started out well and the kids loved it. Now the last 4 weeks it's been a revolving door of teachers and the kids hate it. Keep getting told this will be the permanent teacher just to have someone new every week. Kinda feel like we keep getting lied to each week. We all know kids take time to warm up to any stranger. But I guess they know better how a toddler will react.

My granddaughter had a great start at her Gymnastic meet. She had just scored a 9.4 on the vault. That's nearly the highest she has ever scored on anything although, I've seen others score very high and questioned it many times. She went first on the uneven bars. Her performance was much better than a 8.8. Her coach high-fived her but failed to tell her why she received a 8.8. I believe her lack of understanding after receiving that score interfered with her concentration for the rest of her performances. She fell off the Balance Beam and cried. The coach said nothing to her, just looked at her. I didn't appreciate that. Then she failed at her floor routine. I perceive her coach as simply ignoring my granddaughter and demonstrating no encouragement. Who ignores a 6-7 when she has failed in a routine and cries? I also feel the judges are very biased. Subjective judging can be detrimental to the self-image and self esteem of young black athletes because some people were raised to believe we are less than! Yes, I said it!!!

The facility is very well maintained for a 30 year old gym. Teachers are eager and 2 years worth of team sport trophies in 1st and 2nd place level tournaments. Some Parent night out offerings and early childhood classes as well. Centrally located near Rusted Rooster and Dollar General.

Great atmosphere and they really care about your child. I had never been to a gym that cleans as throughly as they do, it was the reason I placed my kid in their program. The professionalism and care is the reason we stayed.

My daughter has been going to gymnastics here for a little over a year. She began when she turned three and the coaches have been great with her! She began with Denise who is an experienced coach and pushes the children to do things right. Denise has since moved to an older class of girls and runs the Preschool program. She has tremendous patience and love for the small children. She's a great teacher! As our daughter got older she moved up in classes. The staff have all been great with her. The only problems I've had is with their website which has some issues when it comes to payments. Fortunately, the people at the desk have been helpful to clear up any issues we've had. They offer classes for kiddos as young as 18 months all the way up to 18 years! Love this place and will continue to come here for as long as my daughter is interested.
