Too often, people decide they want to get healthier and jump right into a crash diet or intense workout plan only to burn out a few weeks later (if they even last that long). This cycle is not only physically unhealthy — sometimes leading to injuries or weight gain — it’s demoralizing, too.

Your fitness routine needs to work for the life you live right now — otherwise, it just won’t work in the long run. Yes, fitness is important, but so are family, friends, food, and fun.

Working with Jennifer has given me confidence. I’m healthier now in my late 50s than I was for the past two decades. I’ve lost weight, built muscle, and move with ease now. Jennifer has also encouraged me to lift heavier weights, to do exercises I enjoy, and that something is better than nothing. What’s more, she’s taught me balance — and that I’m much stronger than I thought I was! Our virtual sessions are convenient and provide the accountability I needed to get and stay fit.

I've been practicing yoga with Coach Jen for over three years now, and I can honestly say that she's the reason I keep coming back. Each session leaves me feeling great, physically and mentally, and I'm constantly amazed at how much I've grown in my practice under her guidance. Coach Jen has a wonderful way of tailoring each session to the individual, and her expertise and passion for yoga are apparent in everything she does. She creates a welcoming, supportive environment that encourages growth and exploration, and I always leave feeling energized and inspired. I can't imagine practicing with anyone else - Coach Jen is truly a gift to the yoga community.

I came to yoga in my late 30s because of an old shoulder injury. Jen’s Thursday class introduced me to breath, balance and form. After taking her class for over 10 years I came to her for personal training. I had come out of Covid with hip dysplasia and 10 extra pounds. She guided me through the physical therapy and healing that my body needed every week with a personal training session. That was two years ago (I am 51 now) and I have never felt better. She is truly an expert in knowing the body and how to heal it. She knew exactly what kind of workouts I needed in my recovery process. Some days we did yoga where she adjusted me while in yoga poses (incredible! I highly recommend it). Some days we did circuit training. Some days I needed a gentle teacher and other days we high-fived. She is a trainer, yoga, teacher, therapist, healer, coach, and friend. She is the real deal if you find yourself wanting someone to help your body heal or meet your fitness goals. You won’t regret this investment in yourself with Jen by your side!

I can't say enough good things about Jen! After suffering a 3 day muscle spasm in my back, a friend convinced me to join her yoga group that Jen leads. It has been life changing and by far the best thing for pain management and flexibility that I have come across! Jen is a fantastic instructor and makes her yoga sessions welcoming regardless if you're new or a longtime yogi.

I didn’t start being active until I was in my mid 40’s and I am still enjoying being active at the age of 56. Coach Jen has been there during my journey, helping me through half and full marathons, a triathlon, and most recently a 100 mile bike ride around Lake Tahoe. Coach Jen has introduced me to yoga and strength training and has helped me focus on eating right. The most important gift that Coach Jen gives me is the reminder to maintain balance. Not to dwell on the not so good days and move forward. I trust Coach Jen and her advice and direction. If she lays out a plan for you, all you have to do is follow it and success is is yours.

Jennifer will motivate and push you in ways you need and is careful to ensure you're using the correct form. She practices what she teaches and preaches. She's also just fun to laugh with (when I'm not out of breath). I couldn't recommend her highly enough!
