My son has had nothing but great experiences at MGA, we have had birthday parties and every single time all the kids and parents to express how much fun they had, the coaches interact with the kids and play games with them to keep the kids all entertained too. Open gym has been fun as well the staff that run the place are amazing and truly care for the kids it shows. I highly recommend this place to take your kids.

My daughter has been competing with Manhattan gymnastics for the last 5 years since we moved from the east coast. Staff has always been wonderful, last winter coach Karody started working with her to give her the confidence to learn the skills she needed to move up to optionals, and she was able to do that by summer. We are thankful for her dedication to help the girls learn new skills and the confidence to perform them.

My daughter was a gymnast at MGA for almost 9 years. She started in the preschool and recreational classes and after a couple years joined the competitive team. She had several coaches over the years and always felt respected and cared for by all of them. Her last 3 years of competition was under Coach Karody who, I believe, goes above and beyond for the girls on her team. She pushes the girls to do more than they believe they can, all while being empathic and caring. Never once did I question that she loved my daugher and was truly invested in her both as a gymnast and as a person. Even now that my daughter has moved on from gymnastics, Karody checks in occasionally to make sure she is doing well. The coaches and staff at MGA became like a second family to all of us.

My daughters have both been a part of MGA over the last several years. My youngest has competed for the MGA team for the last 10-11 years! During this time she has had a few different coaches all have taught her so much more than just gymnastics! Coach Karody works hard to build confidence in all aspects for the girls in addition to coaching gymnastics. She truly cares for the gymnasts and works hard to show it!

My daughter couldn’t wait for class to start and never wanted to leave. We appreciated the Coaches training and ability to find our kids strengths and encouragement for future skills.

Manhattan Gymnastics Academy (MGA) offers many different classes and activities. Our children have participated in many of them over the last few years - recreational classes, summer training, Kids Night Out / Kids Day Out, open gym, birthday parties, and competitive team. The coaching staff pours their heart and love of gymnastics into the students. The front office staff really cares about providing a safe environment for every patron. The staff communicated expectations and requirements clearly for each activity. They helped us find the right activity for each of our boys.

Our daughter participated in the competitive team for several years. The people behind MGA became our family. The gym was our daughter's home away from home. She learned lessons of discipline, perseverance, hard-work, team-building, and belief in self. Participation in athletics, as a member of a team, is invaluable in the development of our young people. The staff at MGA takes this responsibility seriously. Each and every coach that my daughter worked with through seven years of competition (at various levels) worked tirelessly to give her opportunities to become physically and mentally stronger, to develop plans to achieve goals. They celebrated successes, big and small, and provided support if goals were not met. We can never thank them enough for helping her develop the character that she has today.

The coach's talk about kids behind their backs and single out kids who have special needs. Coach Karody is a total narcissist who decided to bully my 7 year old and her mother decided to let her continue working despite her obvious inability to substitute coach 3 little girls without losing her temper, shouting "i dont have time for this" and accuse children of playing stupid. Nothing like abuse to make a parent pull out their kid. Take your kids to Wamego instead.

The floor was dirty, the restrooms smelled. The people were nice. Otherwise the score would have been lower.

I recently had an unfortunate experience with Manhattan Gymnastics Academy and I feel compelled to share my disappointment. The gym's strict policy of not allowing makeup classes is incredibly frustrating and has left me feeling dissatisfied with their service.

As a busy individual with a hectic schedule, I understand that unforeseen circumstances can arise, making it impossible to attend a scheduled gymnastics class. However, I was shocked to learn that Manhattan Gymnastics Academy does not offer any makeup classes whatsoever. This inflexible policy shows a lack of empathy towards their members' commitments and genuine reasons for missing a class.

Life is unpredictable, and unexpected events can occur at any time. Whether it's an illness, a family emergency, or even unavoidable work commitments, it's disheartening to know that Manhattan Gymnastics Academy does not provide any options for rescheduling missed classes. This policy creates a sense of rigidity and disregards the personal circumstances of their members.

Moreover, by not offering makeup classes, Manhattan Gymnastics Academy fails to recognize the importance of consistent training and progress for their students. Gymnastics is a sport that requires regular practice and dedication, and missing a class can significantly hinder a student's growth and skills development. It is disappointing that the gym does not prioritize the advancement and success of their members.

In addition to the lack of flexibility, the customer service I received when inquiring about makeup classes was also subpar. The staff seemed indifferent to my concerns and unwilling to address the issue constructively. This further exacerbated my frustration and left me feeling unvalued as a member.

As someone who appreciates a gym that understands the challenges of balancing life and sports, I cannot recommend Manhattan Gymnastics Academy due to their no makeup classes policy. Their inflexibility, disregard for individual circumstances, and unresponsive customer service have left a sour taste in my mouth. I urge potential members to consider alternative gymnastics gyms that prioritize their members' needs and offer more accommodating policies.

Management is rude, teachers are capable but some of them have short fuses, and overreact to little kids being kids because they can.

My almost 2 yo son loves open gym here. The staff is always friendly. Only complaint is that I feel more supervison is needed for the adults on a busy night. A couple of adults acting like fools tonight and almost landing on small children in the pit.

Great beginners gymnastics gym. Be ready to pay year around though, because if your kid gets out of their age group there is no assessment or ability for them to get back into their group. Classes are based on how many classes the parents have paid for, not the skills of the child.

My 4yr loves her coaches and love coming here. 45mins a week for $70 not a bad deal. Safe, clan, fun atmosphere. Coaches arent agressive like most gymnastics academies.

Class sizes are too large. We tried to cancel and they will not let us even though our kids have not been there in weeks. We are paying a lot of money for not much value. Our kids enjoyed going at first, but got frustrated with the lack of instruction. I highly recommend going somewhere else.

My experience at Gymnastics Plus was not very good. It seems like every time I go there something bad happens like they are always closed for a bad reason or they always start at 6:00 when They usually start at 7:00 so I paid $10.00 for only an hour at open gym. They make lessons to expensive. It is almost like Gymnastics Plus doesn't want me there or something like that. At open gym they don't even let you use the vault or the vault with the mat. Even if you need to practice they won't let you which angers me a lot. The managing sucks and the coaches are rude sometimes. The manager doesn't even know anything about gymnastics. My friend asked her if she could do anything on bars and she said she can do nothing in gymnastics. She said she is just good at managing which I disagree with that.

My experiences with Gymnastic Plus has been nothing but positive. The staff ALWAYS welcomes me and my family when entering the gym. I've had the pleasure to observe the coaches working with the children. I was highly impressed with the focus and knowledge the coaches demonstrate while teaching their classes. The facility is clean and has that, come on in and have a good time warmth about it. I HIGHLY recommend this business!

"Poor-Fair" is misleading. Would say "fair" on quality and "poor" on service. The instruction would be "fair". And the service aspect is hard to work with. I would strongly advise you against joining Gymanstics Plus, and if you do, I would discourage you from leave your credit card on file, as their fine-prints allow them to arbitrarily deduct late-fees. I am not hopeful of things improving as this is all happening under brand new ownership.
