Had my 7yr olds birthday party here - great experience! Kids had a lot of fun. The majority of the space is really suitable for bigger kids and adults but there’s plenty for the littles to play on, run around, and have fun. They got their exercise. Staff was awesome with them and the adults.

Motus, both in OP and Lee’s Summit, is a top notch ninja gym. Not only is there staff amazing, but the gym really knows what they are doing. They are world renowned for their gym and have coaches who compete on the world stage as well as on the tv show.

What a great place! I highly recommend Motus - the owner and staff are amazing. They have such a great program and clearly know what they are doing! Definitely a good place to learn ninja skills! That may sound slightly humorous but it’s actually true!

They have different levels of challenges that are always different, for many different ages, the instructors will help you out as needed, but they will not yell at you for everything you do!

As of the time I write this review, you can get into a class with (a) trail(s) class(es) to try out what you want!

Throughout the week, there are open gym times, where you can come in, pay admission, and then get a wrist band and you’re set to go!

To reiterate, it is a wonderful atmosphere, super nice and helpful (and strong) staff, and some serious abs and biceps to be gained ahead!

Took my girls here for the first time during open gym hours. They are 6 and 7. Everyone working was extremely kind and attentive. My girls had a blast and felt very proud of themselves for completing the challenges! We had a great night! Thank you!

We love Motus ninjas. Our daughter Nella thrives here and loves the activity. We have traveled to another gym to compare during a competition and this facility is top notch with the best fixtures and equipment possible. Coach Cal is a huge asset to the team.

My son and his friends spent his birthday party being yelled at and condescended to every two seconds. I would watch the employees do the same things to show off that the kids were being reprimanded for. One child not in our party was brought to tears by an employee yelling “DO YOU NOT KNOW HOW TO READ?!” while pointing to an obscure and tiny sign off the side of the general area. Having fun here was made nearly impossible. The people in charge clearly don’t like children, though they are teenagers themselves.

We had a 7 year old birthday party here and it was a massive hit. We even ended up having the older brothers of several boys come when they heard about it. They have many of the obstacles you see on American Ninja Warrior. It was non stop entertainment for all of the parents to watch too.
The staff was stellar from showing the kids how to do different obstacles to doing a Ninja Warrior race. They helped by hyping up the kids for the birthday cake and insisted they help clean up the mess from the birthday cake.
It was well worth it and it’ll be a memory for the rest of our boys life. We highly recommend and will be back again!
