I've now been coming here 6 weeks; my trainer Logan, Nick, and his whole team come across as very dedicated and knowledgeable professionals. I have struggled with how crowded and unfriendly larger gyms can be but the atmosphere here makes me feel very comfortable and supported. Nick has a fantastic collection of very durable and user-friendly equipment and it has been very easy to get any help I need. He also has a very clean and well maintained gym. The app that gives me workouts shows them in a very clear way and has really made workouts easy to follow. Logan always has a great attitude, truly listens to my concerns, and is always happy to help. He also is always very professional and knowledgeable. I have made a lot of progress so far towards my goals in this short time and feel healthier than I ever have in my life at this point. I am very appreciative to Logan and all the trainers at Nick Bolton fitness!

I can’t begin to express how grateful I am for the incredible team at Nick Bolton Fitness. When I started my journey, I was at my heaviest—150 lbs—and felt physically and mentally drained. Today, I’m proud to be down to 115 lbs, but the transformation goes far beyond the scale.

Found this place by accident. Best decision I’ve made in a long time. Been working with Nick since Nov 2024. Down 15 lbs of fat, up 4 lbs of muscle and down 5% body fat. Not bad for an out shape 63 year old man. Highly recommend giving them a shot.

I can’t recommend NB Fitness enough. I had hit an all time high for my weight and needed help. I didn’t want to go to one of the big gyms and just be a number. I wanted professional help with someone who understood what I needed to hit my goals. At 55 years old, with the usual aches and pains, I needed someone with a lot of experience and patience. Nick was recommended to me so I gave him a call. From the first time I met him I was at ease and was excited to workout again. I have been training twice a week with Nick now for 17 days. I have dropped 2.7% body fat, had 7 lbs of weight loss with 3.5 lbs of muscle gain. I still have a ways to go to meet my goals but I have no doubt I will get there with Nicks help.

What a fantastic place! Nick is 1000% focused, attentive, positive and knowledgeable. He hires like-minded/talented trainers, too! They have every possible piece of equipment plus a sauna and infra-red therapy etc. Your tailored plan will make the time go by quickly. They work with young to "old" (like me) and are very motivated to keep us being consistent, moving forward and getting stronger. I cannot recommend this place highly enough--10 stars out of 5!

It has been almost one year that I have been training with NB. My results have been consistent and fantastic. Nick and his whole training staff are the nicest people in Kansas City. I’ve had the pleasure of training with both Nick and Bradley regularly (along with others on rare occasion) and it was a fantastic experience. I have been training with Ashley for almost 2 years now. My body has changed and I couldn’t be happier. After turning 30 I found myself working out with almost zero progress. I knew I had to hire a professional, not only for results but for safety. Lifting and trying new workouts can be very dangerous and Ashley has always been there for me. I get pushed to my limit but she also makes sure I am safe. I train with her at least 3 times a week and I am stronger and more toned than I was at 22. I trained at Nick Bolton for just over 6 months. I came in with ailments from wear and tear over the years. I had Dustin Duewel as my trainer and he was awesome! Sometimes Nick would step in just to change it and push me in a different way. They are very knowledgeable in what they do and explain it to you so you understand. They were able to change up exercises and target the areas that did not make any aliments worse. There is no judgement at this place and if you grunt a little to get those last reps, NO ALARMS will sound (promise)! All the staff have been very professional, sincere and care about your fitness and well-being!

I’m an college football athlete and this was by far one of the best private 24 hour gym I’ve ever got to experience , they have all the equipment you need to hit a full body workout , the environment is very friendly 100% judgement free- zone the place is honestly just a vibe , I would definitely recommend this gym to anyone looking to get fit while being in there own world!! This was one of my favorite facilities to work out in. It is on the smaller side but has a great selection of equipment that is always maintained and extremely clean. Nick and his staff are so nice and always make you feel like family. I would recommend personal training for people who want a more private one on one session as there is limited traffic here. This was perfect for me as I did not like the big corporate gyms due to the limited space and fees. I always had what I needed to get a great workout in here. Overall 5star great place!

Best place I have ever trained. Top notch trainers, equipment, clean and everyone knows me by name. It’s a smaller gym compared to the big box places…but it doesn’t feel cramped! I love this! And the music isn’t blaring loud which I personally really appreciate. It’s just awesome.

I’ve been working with Nick for about 2 and a half years now and the results I’ve seen are unreal! After the 2020 pandemic and quarantine, I gained about 40 lbs. I tried many different exercise programs, fad diets, and “healthy” weight loss strategies but nothing was working. I started to believe that it was impossible for me to lose weight. I realized I couldn’t do this by myself so I started researching personal trainers. It was so discouraging seeing that there were so few options for teens. My mom had worked with Nick both before and during the pandemic and recommended I talk to him. He was more than happy to work with me and completely turned my health journey around. I started seeing results almost immediately and in just 7 months I officially lost all the weight I had gained over quarantine. Because of Nick, I was able to do it in a healthy way. He is not only incredibly educated in exercise, but dieting as well. He taught me how to properly exercise and diet in a healthy way so that I would see results. In 2019, I tore my labrum in my hip and I was never able to fully recover even after physical therapy. However, after working with Nick, I have almost completely gained my strength back. I never thought I would look forward to working out, but Nick makes it so much fun. He genuinely cares about each and every one of his clients. Update: I have been seeing Nick for about 8 months now, and the change and improvement I've made while training with him has been amazing. I have had the pleasure of working with Nick Bolton since August 2022 and I couldn't be happier with the results. In the summer of 2021, I was injured while training for the Kansas City Marathon. I was diagnosed with a psoas tendon injury and prescribed time off and rest. Unfortunately, I was misdiagnosed, and despite my repeated visits to the doctor and a hunch something was still very wrong I carried on with life on what I would later find out was a fractured femur that required an emergency surgery once it was properly diagnosed. After surgery in February of 2022, I spent months trying everything under the sun to regain my physical strength and relieve my constant pain. I was unable to walk normally, I was in constant pain, I could barely walk around the block, the idea of a marathon seemed impossible. My hope was beginning to fade, and I had worried I may never move normally again. I tried everything, lots of physical therapy, chiropractic care, dry needling, massage, you name it I tried it. 30 pounds heavier, depressed and on the cusp of turning 40, I decided it was time to just get in the gym and accept and work with the body I now had. I was looking for someone with expertise in their field to help me lose weight and regain my strength. It was important to me to approach fitness with injury prevention and proper body mechanics in mind after all I had been through. My goal was to walk normally again and lose the weight I had gained by my 40th birthday in April 2023. I came to Nick frustrated, deconditioned, 30 lbs. overweight, and with a limp I had developed walking around on a broken leg for nearly a year. Working with Nick, I quickly outgrew my own goals and have continued to exceed what I thought was possible for myself. Nick provided exactly what I was looking for and more. He created a personalized fitness plan tailored to my needs and injury limitations, pushing me to reach my goals while ensuring my safety. His encouragement, knowledge and expertise in the field made every workout both challenging and fun. Thanks to Nick I was able to lose weight and not only regain my strength but become stronger than I thought possible. I can confidently say I am stronger now than I was prior to my injury. I entered assuming I’d never walk normally again and today my goal is to be stronger than I’ve ever been and to feel better at 40 than I did at 30! I highly recommend Nick Bolton and his entire staff of excellent trainers to anyone looking for a dedicated, knowledgeable, and effective personal trainer. All within the course of 18 months; I became a single father, my mother died at the age of just 48 and my house was foreclosed on. This year and a half put a lot of strain on my mental health. I don't drink, I don't do drugs and I have 3 children so I couldn't go out. I turned to food for comfort. When this first started I was 180 lbs and still playing soccer. Fast forward six years to 2019 and I was pushing 230 lbs. I had gone from medium shirts to XL and my stomach was still showing. I didn't have the energy to do normal daily requirements, let alone play soccer. I was unhealthy and unhappy. I avoided looking in the mirror at all cost. Seeing myself without my shirt on would trigger depression and anxiety. It got bad enough that I had to be put on medicines to deal with my mental state. In 2019 I decided I had had enough. I began running everyday from January until July. But I didn't notice any improvement. I needed help. In November I called Nick. No idea who he was. I just googled a bunch of places and called two that I thought could both possibly help me. I left voicemails for both. Nick called back that day. He had an energy and a confidence that was positive and made me believe he was someone that could help. I began working out with Nick two times a week and he helped me better understand my daily nutritional needs. But Nick provided a service so much more valuable than that. He made me believe in myself. He was positive and confident and made me feel relaxed, even when we were doing something hard. Nick helped me get over the mental block and excuses that I had put in place to justify my lazy lifestyle. Today I am at 179 lbs! I am wearing medium shirts again and I had to buy multiple sets of new pants as I went down from a 38 waste to a 32. I still have work to do, but Nick gave me the tools to feel confidence to be able to achieve my goals. I am not just happy about losing weight... I am happy most about improving my quality of life.

I met Nick four years ago, when he came to our agency to conduct some bootcamp workouts. I was so out of shape and was the heaviest I have ever weighed in my life. At first, I didn’t want to do his bootcamp mainly for the fact, I didn’t want to step on the scale to see how much weight I had gained. As it turns out, not only did I love Nick’s bootcamp, but I also participated in his 10 week challenge with the OYO Fitness. Fast forward four years later, with Nick’s help, I am down close to 35lbs and have lost several inches and body fat. I am only 4’11”, so that is a lot of weight for me to lose. I feel so much better and with less weight to carry around, that puts less stress on my knees when I run. I’ll be the first to admit, I’m not good at dieting or sticking with any type of health plan. Nick put together a nutrient plan along with a workout plan that best fit my body type and needs. And when I would hit a plateau, he was very good at providing suggestions as to how to adjust my diet and exercise. I am living a healthier lifestyle, because of Nick’s expertise. I'm currently using Nick as my trainer under his 12 week program. I'm so far at week 7 and I have lost 10 pounds and a few inches off of my waist. His nutrition plan really works to fit your needs, and it's planned out great to make you really understand what you are suppose to be eating.
