Went to workout with my friends early in the morning. The staff at the front desk were very friendly and polite. The gym was very clean and neat. Nobody in the gym were being a bother while working out. Great atmosphere and good gym to go to and visit.

They installed new machines, but they also removed other important ones. They should implement new machines, but not remove other good ones, like the adductor and glute machines, the lying leg curl, and the glute kickback. I hope they improve and restore them as soon as possible. Many people feel the same way about that.

Today was my second day with my new Planet Fitness Black Card Membership, and I couldn’t be happier! The equipment options are amazing, and the vibe is so friendly and welcoming. A couple of staff members really made my day—Haley greeted everyone with such a big smile, it instantly lifted my mood. Matt was super helpful, walking me through all the Black Card perks, explaining how everything works and answering all my questions with patience and friendliness. I travel for work so I’ve been to quite a few PF and this location has been by far the rudest experience ever! Tammy at the front desk made a big fuss about letting a black card member guest use the hydro massage chair (that I use 3 times in a row on some occasions). She even went far as raising her voice to cut me off after I told her multiple times I’ve heard of this policy everyone is always nice and let us them, another member was waiting and told her this is not acceptable we should be allowed to use them. Thats when she slammed the button yelling fine fine fine go ahead and shoo’d me away, i told her i didnt want her to loose her job but she insisted waving at me telling me to go, i left immediately after I didn’t feel comfortable working out in that place, I will never return to this location again! If I could give 0 star, I would!

Great gym well equipped, but it would need a little maintenance, the hooks in the shower section are falling apart, the rubber handles on the leg press are torned up... That kind of things.
PS : don't tell me to talk to the management team or to the front desk, tell them yourself.

Truck driver here so parking is first concern, this place did have signs for no truck parking but I never know if that means even for a minute or don’t leave it and go home for a day or so. Anyways, I parked in the back out of the way and wasn’t messed with which is greatly appreciated. Showers were good, place was clean, water fountain cold, and all equipment was up to par. Thanks for allowing the workout and shower without issues, hopefully I will be back

I love this gym so much. I only wish it were bigger and I do wish it were 24 hours for people like me who have varying hours they can work out. I feel like the business would bring in more money if they did do 24/7. I don’t know how to request it but I also hope one day they could expand the stretching/yoga area. It’s so cramped sometimes. The manager and employess and this little gym in Salina not only does their jobs. They go beyond that and make this gym a friendly atmosphere. A safe place to go and be able to ask questions ans to be shown how to do machines without embarrassment. They build relationships with you. Uses your name so you dont feel like another number. Relationships are built amongst the other gym goers. There is no one that wouldnt help. This gym has made it a safe and fun and enjoyable place to be at.

I travel a lot so being able to use PF’s around the country is fantastic. This location has some things to be desired….

PROS - clean floors, well maintained equipment, and clean locker room.

CONS - super low lighting (like dinner date dark), horrible rap music on the speakers, lack of multiple pieces of the same equipment (it’s a small location so it’s limited), NO WiFi, & members with little gym consideration for others. Being so small it wouldn’t take much for this place to be almost impossible to workout in.

It was convenient so it worked out but I probably won’t be back.

It’s a smaller Planet Fitness than I’m used to, but they still have all of the necessary equipment to get things done. The equipment all looks brand new as well. I love that it’s a smaller place and not super busy all of the time.
You can be right in the middle of everything or you can find a private corner and do your own exercises. It meets the needs of everyone. Highly recommend!

Awesome staff and establishment as usual! I VERY rarely have any type of complaint when it comes to planet fitness. I've been using the gyms all across the country so I've had a large sample size for locations and they're always clean, well organized, with functioning fully stocked equipment, and friendly staff. The only reason this location isn't getting a full 5 stars is the prevalence of creepers that were there. My wife and I haven't ever had this level of issue before. There's always gonna be one or two people that make you a little uncomfortable right? Like maybe you catch their eye while they were looking at your or something, but here there might have been one or two people that didn't radiate complete creep vibes. A few literally weren't even working out, just somewhere close by staring at me and pretending to stretch... For the entire hour I was there... Yikes.
