Cannot believe the management.
I was gone for a month and management took everything out of my locker THAT WAS LOCKED! Because "they got new machines " so all the lockers needed cleaned out. No notice.
People sit on the machines and talk on their phones, teenagers gather all over the machines 'jus chillin'and nasty people don't clean the machines after they are done and they have broken toilets that are 'waiting for parts'.
I'm over this place. Get it together.

I was double charged, and it's still showing I have a balance owed so upon being double charged, I got charged a late fee for the membership that was charged twice in one month. I called and talked to management. I was told it would be taken care of, and it reflected so in my PF app. The next day, the balance AND the late fee was back on the app. Time to find another gym.

Planet Fitness has some great perks—it's always open, so you can work out whenever it suits you, and the place is kept clean with friendly staff who make the atmosphere welcoming. However, one downside is their "no cash" policy for black card membership. It feels like if overcharging wasn’t part of their business model, they might allow cash payments as an option. It would be nice if there were more flexible payment options, but overall, it's still a decent gym for its convenience and environment.

I have been a Planet Fitness member for about 6 months. It was a decent place, but they started messing with the rules that were in place when I joined and that I appreciated. First, their 1 minute workout circuit changed, and instead of everyone doing cardio and then weights, back and forth, people started coming back to just sit on the machines and do nothing while I was huffing and puffing around the circuit, feeling like their entertainment.

Then they put up flags to celebrate certain sexual lifestyles, excluding me and others like me. And because they brought it up by putting up these flags, I asked what would happen if I were in the locker rooms and a man walked in. And they said they would not do anything to protect me, or any other woman.

So why would I continue on in a place where men are given freedom to behave any way the like, putting the females in danger? Men are supposed to protect women; and PF insists that the men who work there must NOT protect us.

There is no reason to go back. People like me are not welcome; but any man who wants to walk into the areas designed specifically for women will feel quite welcome there.

I had recently encountered a transfer issue while transferring to a New York location and Mo with customer service was truly one of the best customer service experiences I ever had. She told me what the issue was which I was paying for two planet fitness memberships, and she resolved it within seconds. She was super helpful and I recommend anyone with any issues ever to reach out to her!

The older lady MO is an aggressive person. She got really aggressively asked my mother this morning about not giving my informatiaon. Tried to kick me out of the gym because I ddnt "sign in". Even though my mom has a Black Membership which pays for you to bring a guest. She has poor customer relation skills. She became loud and agressive and badgered my mother about how she likes to follow the rules. She became insulting saying she had "issues"I have autism and don't particularly like to be given instant anxiety at 5 am over something that is not legally required. This woman went out of her way to create an aggressive environment, she became combative and argumentative in public in front of other consumers. When we went to pay for water she displayed a facetious apology and my mother went off and told her for the 5th time to back up away from her as she kept approaching her aggressively like she wanted to hit her. We will not be back. It's unsafe for people with Autism.
The co workers have even quit because they don't like working with her as they have advised us of her Biased racial prejudice.

Cryo bed doesn't work, wellness pod doesn't work, one massage bed doesn't work. First time trying this place and as soon as we walked in this lady lectured us about guest not checking in first, mine never has. Got to hear some long stoey about people using gues pass alone. The old lady working 12/30/22 at 5pm is wretched. Horrible experience I checked in computer made a sound she said all good. Went on to work out then came and got me and said I need to come back to the front. Later went to tan showing her my eyewear then asks to see it. I visited this location for the first and last time yesterday. While I was working out a worker broke my personal lock off my locker because someone missed placed their keys. They gave complete access to every locker to a complete stranger. This person could have claimed anything was theirs. Not only did they let someone go through my mine and everybody’s else’s things they left the lockers unattended when they were done. Anyone could have stolen my things. The worker acted like it was no big deal but I felt completely violated. There’s signs encouraging us to put locks on the lockers for a reason.

When my contract was over, they gave me a runaround about not continuing my contract and charged me the new yearly membership fee even though I had no interest in continuing with a membership. The people at this location did not have time to help me figure out a solution and were quite rude about it when they advised me that their manager was out, even though I was told earlier in the day that he'd be in later...good thing I called back to follow up. I ended up calling the S Seneca location and, even though they couldn't personally help me, they were at least kind and attempted to get results from someone higher up. N Amidon customer service was very poor!!!! I'll never be back!

The worst upkeep on a gym I’ve ever seen. The water fountains have been broken for months. The A/C is broken for days and everyone is sweating waterfalls with no water. The toilet paper is completely out in every stall. The tv screens are frozen half the time. I’ve brought these complaints to staff and nothing has changed. This location is pathetic compared to the others.

Air conditioners haven't been working for weeks, employees say they don't know when/if they will get fixed. Opening the doors was fine when it was cool but summer is almost here and it's too hot and humid to workout there now.

Let me tell u they take that seriously. You're not even allowed to judge yourself in this facility. Everyone here is perfect just the way they are. Everything on the walls is designed around making sure any inkling of self doubt or unhappiness is ignored. I suppose that could be a good thing for some, but it seems to me the entire purpose of a gym is self improvement.

I don't feel like this gym, the entire franchise really, allows you to be critical of anything. This includes yourself.

The facility is clean. Lots of televisions to watch while doing cardio. Staff is friendly as long as your shirt has sleeves. Dumbbells and a leg press are the only real free weights. Good place to start your fitness journey i suppose, but not a great long term option if you ask me.

Planet fitness is always very clean and never crowded when I go. It is just scross the street from where I live and is very handy. I walked outside during the height of the Covid epidemic but have been back at PF for several months. All of the personnel there is very friendly and readily assists cuatomers when they need it. Will be more comfortable when their AC is fixed though!

The business is great. These equipment is equally great. But the manager at this location leaves something to be desired. Fired me for a mess made after my shift, and 3 days later a friend from there asked why the manager was telling other employees that I broke a water pipe in the maintenance room out of anger on my way out. Which is interesting because when I left my last morning everything was good. 4 hrs later I got woke up to get fired. How did I break a pupe on my way out while I was asleep after my shift? I'm a member again but refuse to go to this location.

Girl Friend canceled her account membership while it was month to month and she didn't keep proof of the receipt or the certified letter from 16 months ago. 16 months later Planet Fitness is asking for the prior months and late fees. No active oversight management for delinquent accounts. If you "thought" you canceled properly, they will continue to bill you. They will not notify you that your automatic payments are not going through or were being declined. They WILL add a late fee. You had better HAVE and KEEP documentation for YEARS later! She was called and informed she has 7 days to pay in full, or it goes to collections.

Hello everyone, I enjoy coming to Planet Fitness to get a good workout in. Today on December 16, 2020. I went to Planet Fitness to workout ok, as soon as I finished, I went to the front desk and asked how can I used there hydro massage, one white female told me that I had to have my mask on every time I walk around in there gym. Let me remind you all, I just finished working out and I do get that they require people to wear a mask just as she said but I just finished working out and my mask was in my locker at the time and then I had one on when I first entered the gym. I took it off while I was working out and left it in the gym locker room. I'm like, but I just finished working out tho. Obviously I didn't tell her that. I just felt disrespected at the time. I wasn't even walking around all day in the gym without exercising and I mean I just finished working out to and went to the front desk and only asked how could I use there hydro massage machine. After she told me this. I said ok and went to my locker, grab my things and left without using there hydro massage. Because I felt disrespected by her. This was at the 2021 North Amidon Planet Fitness. I wasn't even trying to disrespect nobody nor there staff. And I mean, anybody who go to planet Fitness will see other people walking around without there mask on as well. Personally, I think she was discriminating me because I'm black.
